Kai patted Alfred on the back as she walked out of the elevator. She turned and waited for him to step out.
"You're the best Alfred. Like always!"
She smiled her attitude lightening a little more.

Alfred smiled a bit and followed the young woman out. All that should be done now is to check out, collect belongings, and find a ride home.

Tim shoved his hands in his pockets as he followed Alfred out of the elevator. They approached the lady at the front desk again, and the boy immediately took on a very large grin, despite the numerous and rather upsetting things on his mind.

Kai walked up to the front desk placing her arms on the counter leaning over. She looked around for a phone, and a phone book. Directing her attention to the woman she asked politely for a phone book and was handed a phone from behind the desk.
"Thank You."
Kai turned from the woman at the front desk, pulling her bandaged had out of her pocket to dial on the phone after she had searched through the phone book for a cab service. She explained to the cab to pick them up at Gotham General and then explained that they needed to get to the Wayne manor. It wasn't too hard and then she ended the call handing the phone back to the woman at the front desk.
"Ride booked. They will be here in 5 minutes."
She put her hands back in her pockets and headed to wait at the front doors.
((Let's get this moving a bit more ^^. Alfred should check himself out, and as far as the rides to the manor I had Kai cover that XP))

Alfred meanwhile was busying himself with getting checked out. It wasn't...too terribly difficult. His injuries hadn't been very severe, and he'd checked others out of the hospital on occasion. But still...he was far more used to doctoring everyone up himself at 'home'.
Once finished, he collected what he needed and carefully made his way out to wait by the young woman.

Kai waited out front and as soon as Alfred stood next to her she looked up to him. "Alfred, a, Familiar face." She thought feeling better, despite the still seemingly dull situation they had all been left in. She smiled lightly up at him before looking down.
"You, Don't know who I am do you? It's okay, I find that no one here knows me... and, I'm okay with. Well, I guess, maybe Tim knows me better, but it's only been a few days."

Alfred looked down at Kai and smiled gently at her. "I'm sure I'll get...acquainted with you once we are back home again." he replied. Then his smile faded and he looked back up at the walls. "That is if we do not receive any more surprise company. There has been quite a lot of that lately."

Kai nodded to Alfred and watched the road waiting for the cab.
"I don't, know really who might be at the manor. But, I'm really looking forward to seeing the New kid who's 'batman' and, I am really hoping to see Bruce, maybe Grayson. So many people are missing, but even if they were here, in my case the people I know don't know me... My friends, mentors..."
A small ounce of ruefulness shown across her face as she watched the street.

Alfred's smile returned a bit at the mention of Master Terry. "Ah, yes. I have not seen or heard from Master Bruce in quite some time. But Master Ter- erm, the "new kid" as you referred to him was with me before I ended up here." he began. He didn't think he should talk too much of Master Terry. That could be done between the two if they had the chance to talk amongst themselves. He knew how much Master Bruce enjoyed his privacy...he didn't want to intrude on Terry's.

Tim stood close to Alfred and Kai as they waited for the cab. He listened to the two of them for a bit, and at the same time organized his thoughts... what had happened so far, and what needed to be done. The continuing Gotham crowd passed by, each individual hurrying to get to where they needed to go. Tim smiled a bit, hearing the mention of the 'new bat'. It was an odd encounter... especially since they had first mistaken him for Jason. Tim was just glad Terry had no idea who Jason was. After a moment he turned to Kai and Alfred.
"I need to start for the cycle. It's just a few blocks, not too far."
Robin pulled the black hood of his hoodie up over his scruffed hair and pulled the zipper up so it covered his blue shirt. From what dried blood was picked up onto the shirt most of it was covered by the sides of his jacket, but he didn't want to take any chances.
"I'll meet you there, alright?"
Tim smiled up at Alfred. He would have to start making his calls as soon as he started his jog.

Nearly on cue a cab pulled up when Tim told them he'd meet them at the Manor.
"Be carefull Tim. I want to meet you at the manor..."
She stated as she nodded to Tim. The last thing she wanted was Tim to be caught up in a battle alone in Gotham. Kai looked at them real quick then at the cab running up it. The driver asked who had called, she answered him and then waived to Alfred to hop into the cab.

Alfred nodded as Tim headed off, then turned and followed after Kai. He'd rather be in his car, but...it was a nice change of pace to ride rather than drive.
Carefully, the older man slid into the cab and made himself comfortable as he buckled himself in. He tried to ignore the uncleanliness of the interior and concentrated more on what should be done once they arrived back home.

Kai got into the cab after Alfred buckling in hesitantly, since, most of the time she never really rode in vehicles that required seat belts. After that they waiting in a slightly dirty Gotham cab as it drove them to the Wayne manor through the hustle and bustle of city Traffic. Kai stayed rather quiet, trying not to disturb the driver or Alfred since they would have time to talk at the Manor.
((How about next post we just post at the manor as the cab pulling up to it K Saph ^^))

Tim nodded as a final goodbye and an agreement to meet at the mansion. He started in a jog, making sure the black hood covered most of his face as he ran. This part of town wasn't as bad as Gotham could be... but Tim wasn't sure how much things had changed in the months he missed.

Alfred sat just as quietly, still going through everything in his head. His mind did start to wander though to the very last things he recalled. Which were...rather blank.
