"That was an interesting day!" Iyasu laughed remembering the day she rode the horses with her. She lifted her sake cup to the toast and smiled happily.
"A long night with pleasant company and a good time!" She giggled as she looked to younger sister and winked to her. She hoped that she was having fun, dispite her silence.

"Amaya-san! It has been a little while since I've seen you last! Do you remember?"Amaya laughed and winked at Iyasu. "Of course I remember you, Iyasu-san! I never forget a person who wore my pants...", she quipped and saluted the geisha with her bottle of beer. Devin_Akira He feined a grin at Iyasu and took the bottle of sake and offered a toast. "To a long night of..." he shrugged. "I 'un know. Just a long night." And he tilted his head and closed his only seen eye in a humored manner. "How about a long night of pleasant company?" She returned the toast and smiled at the strangely sullen man. "Yes, long night of pleasant company." He sighed quietly, taking time to breathe out his mouth. "Sumimasen ga....Iyasu-sama, do you play koto?" He asked taking a small whiff of sake and bowed his head gracefully and politely.

"Go ahead and wait by the door Mitsuka, you too Kikaru. I'll have a maid call for one." Kyoku nodded and walked off to find a maid. Once she had, she returned to the entrance and slid the door open slightly. "He should be here in a few minutes, go ahead and keep watch. Go straight back to your okiyas, i should be home in a few hours Kikaru."

She sipped her sake, fearing that Akira was not having a good time. When he asked her if she played the koto, Iyasu was putting her sake down and was about to refill the others.
"Yes, I do play the koto, Akira-san. Would you like me to play for you?" She smiled as she refilled his sake cup along with Solice's.

((I just got back from my trip to Chicago so don't worry, I didn't die XD))
Yokome sat next to her Onee-san and listened in on the conversation and giggled her and then at whitty jokes here and there. She glanced at her Onee-san as for what to do next.

Mitsuka got up a headed to the door to wait. She really didn't want to go back to the okiya because it was boring, but she guessed she'd have to go back at some time. She got her shoes and waited.

"Arigato Gozaimasu." he said towards Iyasu as she refilled his cup. He listened to the two as they conversated, watching Amaya drink from her bottle every once in a while.

Amaya finished her bottle and sat it down on the table. She did not want to be rude to Iyasu by leaving before the Geisha had played her piece on the Koto, though her fatigue was getting the better of her. Seeing that Solice was finished with his meal, she looked at him, questioningly.

"Yes, I do play the koto, Akira-san. Would you like me to play for you?" She smiled as she refilled his sake cup along with Solice's. Akira nodded, and set down his sake bottle. "Please do! If it not much of a problem for you. I dont want to be a bother." I still remember, that day... Akira shook himself out of his thoughts, and smiled as best he could. He truely was greatful for the company, since he had not communicated with people in a long time, he pretty much had forgotten to let himself relax and trust. But, he could try? Akira smiled again. "I may be a little rusty, but, " Akira reached into his haori and pulled out a bamboo flute, "I'm sure I can manage." Akira tilted his head to the side and closed his seen eye in a smile, making sure to keep his hair to cover his right eye. "I'll follow along."

"You're welcome, Solice-san." Her smile lite up as Akira brought out his flute. She asked the maid to bring out a koto for the geisha to play. While the maid fetched the instrument she glanced over the small party, Amaya and Solice looked anxious or very sleepy.
The maid with another one helping her carry out the big instrument. They set it down in front of the table and placed a cushion behind the instrument. Iyasu flowed over to the instrument and took her seat.
She plucked a few strings to see if it was in tune, which it seemed to be. The geisha started to play a song that was up beat and cheeriful. She made sure it was a semi-easy melody for Akira to follow along.

Solice watched the two as they played, his eyes following the movements of each of their fingers, and the different combinations and how each sound came differently. He stopped as he saw Amaya looking at him, and smiled. "Shall we go to the springs then? They may be at this for a while, and while I don't wish to offend them, I would rather soak for a while to help my body. I trust you feel the same." he said in a low tone towards her, not loud enough to be heard over the playing of the other two.

His long, black hair fell onto his hand, but he paid it no mind as he began to play. It was a soft melody, one that SHE had taught him when she was still... Akira paused his thoughts and focused on their playing. Iyasu was a very talented player, her fingers slid elegantly over the strings and without flaw could conduct the song. However, he knew she could do better. He paused his playing. "Please, do not worry. Play at a faster pace if you so wish." He grinned sweetly, his seen eye dancing with the music. "I can keep up." And so he started to play with a more bold tune, and insistent. Alomost like the one I played for her. For the first time as he played, a tear leaked from his seen eye, however, he not noticing.

Iyasu watched him the group around her while she gently strumed, Yokome seemed to be enthralled with the music while Amaya and Solice seemed to be drifting off into other thoughts. Her hazel eyes shifted over to Akira who insisted that she play at faster tempo. He knew that she was playing slow for him. A blush came to her cheeks as he caught her, however the delight and dancing in his eyes and the sweet grin he gave her gave the geisha reassurance.
With a boldness appearing in Akira's harmony, Iyasu sped up the tempo. She focused on her playing, but stole a glance over to Akira. A single tear fell down his cheek, that he did not notice. She batted her eyes in confusion as she finished up the tune.
"Akira-san, are you all right?" She asked in a hushed tone. "Did I offend you by playing too slow?"

"Well, I do not care much for the stringed instruments hereabouts... they sound very alien to my ears... but the flute is nice... lets wait a bit, then go.", Amaya murmured for only Solice to hear. When Akira and Iyasu finished their tune, she clapped and smiled at them. "Doumo arigatou gozaimashita! This was really delightful. If you do not mind, I will take my leave now... it has been a rough day for me." She rose and bowed, pretending not to notice Akira's state of emotional turmoil as not to hurt his pride.
