She closed her eyes, and enjoyed the little wind that flew through her deep maroon highlighted hair. She'd never been suspected any less than an Ares girl, before. This questioned whether or not is was true.

Closing his eyes, he listened to the auri nymphs play with Jessie's hair. "Though, you don't look like one to get angered easily, despite what you said. taking her sweet time answering him. "Perhaps. But as the old saying states 'Never judge a book by it's cover'? I plan on sticking to that. But, my appearnce can be the downside of being a child of Ares. It's something that affects how I think, or react in certain situations." Perhaps what he said wastrue. She did seem harmless... But she found it easier to let someone's guard down, for just a mere second, and then strike as follows. Violence was something out of her skills that she found mediocre and redundant. Violence was simply an emotion in action. One of which she didn't express so often. Most of the time.

"Are you kidding me?" She shook her head. Did she really seem like an Aphrodite girl? "No. I'm saying that I'm judged a lot by my appearance, as if I were supposed to be shallow. People think that just because I'm not wearing leather or care for fighting and things of the sort, or the fact that I don't wear brass knuckles, though illegal, that I was best suited for a child of Aphrodite? Jessie frowned. It really irked her that people always immediately assumed she was a daughter of Aphrodite. Should she be punished for having good looks? She got them from her dad. Though she wasn't shallow or self-centered, not in the least. She was pretty rough when need be, but she fought with words, rarely actions. That's how she was an Ares kid. "Sterotypes are overrated."

"Look Jessie, I never said you're an Aphrodite camper. I never said anything about those things. In fact, why would I want you to look like a murder? To be honest, I think you got your dad's romantic side," he said knowing Ares was one of the best god for a goddess to date due to how romantic he was despite being the god of bloodshed. There were a few gloomy cirrus clouds covering most of what was visible of the sun, yet a few altocumulus clouds, as bright as could be, far up ahead. It was either a storm coming soon, or Zeus was just having a different mixture of emotions, today. "I was never like this when I was younger. I was a bit darker after... well, now I just don't understand how I am." She added honestly.

She grinned. "I would be. My sisters and brothers, aren't exactly fond of me. Mostly because I can get them angry enough if I act as if I weren't afraid of them afterwards. It usually works." She chuckled, looking over at him. "I don't usually ramble on like this. It's just nice to be able to talk to anyone who doesn't drift off into their own world two minutes into the conversation." She was serious about that last part. He was the only person who hadn't lost interest so early into the conversation.

I don't know whether to be happy or sad," he commented, snickering. "Wow. That's just... sad. Nobody held a conversation this long with you?" he asked a little surprised. If a child of Morpheus didn't drift off into daydreams already, surely everyone else could. And Jessie wasn't that boring anyways. "If it were me, I'd be happy." She shrugged, sighing as she crossed her arms behind his head. There was definitely a storm coming, but she couldn't tell when. She loved the feeling you got before it rained. The smell of ozone, the stillness of the air around her, and the sudden darkness of the clouds and sky about her. Call her crazy, but being out in that kind of weather made her calmer than usual. "I'm never this calm. It's probably... just the storm coming." She guessed quickly.
