I'm getting better at spinning cotton, but all I'm basically producing at this point is just good enough to use as leader yarn, lol. Oh well, while that's all I can use this last batch for, it's still better than the one before that, hehe.

I am proud to announce that I have finished my first skein of cotton yarn! It's a mini skein (as I got tired of spending tons of time spinning huge amounts to find out I did it wrong) so I spun smaller amounts until it seemed right, and was able to ply it into yarn! It's so thin it's barely thicker than sewing thread, and totally awesome. biggrin

Oh man, I just saw Machete and it ruled so hardcore. heart It's one of my new favorite movies now, it was so over the top and ridiculous.

Hey my ability to post a random number is gone too. I'll just do one on my own. Rats the first one I thought of was 43!
That is so exciting about spinning! I never got good enough. I never spun cotton. My least favorite part was the twisting together of spun pieces to make the ply. I forget what its called. I really wish I had not given away my drop spindle, but chances are the person who has it is using it more than I would have. Still selfishly I wish I had not done it.
I get re-excited about it hearing your stories. Maybe that is what my spinning was missing, was just a place to share it.
I am still very exited for you and cannot wait to hear more

ok now I feel really stupid. I can post numbers, its just at the bottom of my box now instead of at the top. could I be any less observant?
