A question for the Negaverse characters that'll be in Tartaros:

It's my understanding that they can't receive the souls of parallels, right? So does that mean there's no "prize" for the Negaversers to achieve through getting through Tartaros?

codalion: Things may be a little different in Tartaros.

So for powered characters in Tartaros, is the "default" form to be in their civilian form or their powered form, or is it a case-by-case-up-to-the-player sort of deal?

Is there a post-time rule in effect for Tartaros, or is there a little more leeway in posting? Basically, is the event running like Barren Pines or like the Doom Tree in terms of posting requirements (or something else entirely)?

rosemilk: We'll set the official posting rules down when we start the event, but I would suggest it'll be run more like BP.

If a character enters Tartaros, can RPs started before that still be worked on, or should they all be brought to a finish before the plot starts? Also, is starting a backdated RP after the plot starts okay or a no-no?

rosemilk: RPs started before can still be worked on, and backdated RP is fine so long as you don't do too much of it -- the event's going to be enough without adding on extra work!

While powered characters appear in their powered forms, can they be affected by nightmares? For example, can someone in Tartaros suddenly sprout a frilly pink dress, or become stark naked, in response to their nightmares?

rosemilk: Nothing can happen in Tartaros that reveals you for what you truly are -- so while your nightmares can affect your surroundings and possibly yourself, you won't be able to out yourself accidentally. More to come on that in the rules.

Shazari: Basically, while you might appear in a frilly pink dress or in no dress at all, you'd still be protected by your magical glamour (for characters that have a magical self). <3

Is the Pyrite Crystal cubic?

rosemilk: ... zirconia? How crunchy.

Zirconia is the Parallel Guardian AND the Pyrite Crystal? No wonder she looked so old in the series, that has gotta be taxing (though brittle bones make for crunchy crystal indeed).

Idle wondering - do physical injuries in the real world carry over in Tartaros? Imagine someone had a broken arm before falling asleep - would it carry over in Tartaros? Aka, would they wake up in the nightmare, fully healed of whatever plagues them physically in the waking world?

And if so, to what extent? Would someone, say, unable to move in the waking world (for whatever reason - injury or not), be able to run around in Tartaros? (This last question is more curiosity than anything)

Shazari: Oooh, fun questions! One way to think about it is that your 'dream self' is a form of your "true self." If your self-image is of you, whole and healed, then that's how you'll manifest. But if, say, your image of yourself is with the same Dr. House limp you've had all your life, you might still have it in dreams.

And then, of course, there's also the circumstance where, injured or not, you find yourself in a nightmare about being injured, or crippled...! biggrin

Coupleish questions about awakening Senshi. I know they have to have been awoken by a Guardian Cat somewhere along the way but what i'm wondering is if it's possible for a Senshi to have been awoken before coming to Destiny City?

I'm playing with backstory stuff for my Senshi and since he's not from DC originally i am wondering if it would be possible for there to have been a Cat where he was and for him to have been awoken prior to moving to DC? Or if that's a no would it have been possible for him to have been awoken on a prior visit to DC when he was visiting family?
