Spent my days with a woman unkind,
Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine.
Made up my mind to make a new start,
Going to california with an aching in my heart.
The guard's eyes widened, and the other seethed with jealousy for a moment, but they continued on with their job before their master saw.
James took this time to discreetly motion the others to follow Remus, and motion Hrothbert to collect his wife as they went. It 'slipped his mind' to answer Chris.Someone told me theres a girl out there

The sorcerer nodded quickly, taking the unconscious Emma in his arms. However, it would look a little odd if he carried her through the room, so Hrothbert worked a quick spell in the shadows.
Tucking the tiny and inconspicuous body of a chestnut-colored mouse into his pocket, the Lord of Bainbridge followed James and Remus as discreetly as he could.

Once they were down in the cellar, Remus began to poke around the shelves, storage crates and barrels for the secret entrance. He engaged his infrared and other various scanners, looking for a clue would show where the secret passageway might have be.

Double checking the spots Remus had already checked as well.

Eventually, they would find a small door just behind a wine-rack, which had to be pushed out of the way. Through it, there was a series of tunnels that they could crawl through. In no time, they would come up through a secret door behind a bit of shrubbery in the front yard.Someone told me theres a girl out there

Emma's dragon-form had its wings spread to the fullest, fangs bared and claws ready to strike. She heard the sound of the door opening behind her, but made no move to turn.
The mouse in Hrothbert's pocket was still and breathing shallowly, its heartbeat slow (for a mouse, anyway).

Remus walked around that large dragon form of Emma and drew pulled Perseverance off his back. He had never faced a dragon in combat before, and the thought of it was exhilarating. At least he wouldn't be facing the beast alone.

((Juuuuust to let you know, this isn't going to be an actual combat. I've decided to abolish the practice of dice rolling until further notice.))
The monster screeched at an almost unbearable pitch and brought a claw down on the ground very near to the Emperor. Evros appeared ready for battle, James even did, though he kept looking back to make sure that Chris wasn't planning on jumping into the fray. 'Catherine' seemed unsure of what she was even doing, but unsheathed the sword that she had been given.
The dragon roared again, and it was the human half that he went for first, bringing down a foot that caught her only just barely. She fell to the floor, unconscious, but still alive and for the most part - miraculously - unharmed.Someone told me theres a girl out there

Chris picked up 'Catherine', Moving her to the shrubbery and checked for a pulse and wounds.
"Thank god.."
Chris sighed in relief, 'Catherine' was okay.

Run, all of you. I'll hold it off until you're safe.
Emma's mental message was clear and concise even as the enchantress' dragon-form let out another savage roar, springing into the air and diving down upon the other (once she was sure the human girl was out of the way, of course). Wickedly pointed claws ripped into the other's hide even as Emma felt her own ripped open.

Remus refused to run. Emma may have been a larger dragon, but the other beast was still formidable enough to do her considerable harm. The Imperator would need to find a weak spot somewhere on the dragon. The Imperator brought his hammer down onto the opposing drgaon's claw. He only managed to annoy the beast, and the Imperator was batted aside.
Remus stood up and brushed himself off, wondering how he could strike a killing blow to the creature, when a rather interesting idea formed in his head.
"Emma....how long would it take for a dragon to digest...let's say... something synthetic?" he asked, hoping she would catch on to his idea.

We can get through the fountain, Lady Emma, but we can't chance accidentally leaving you behind. James tried to send a green bolt of energy toward the dragon, but it didn't appear to do anything at all, only anger it even further than the emperor had.
"Shitshitshi-." He ran out of the way of another stomping motion that the creature made, escaping almost barely.
It was then that another creature entered the fray, the servant Faun from before, who had discreetly followed them. Unarmed, she couldn't do much, but 'Catherine' had dropped Kaok's sword when she'd been attacked. The Faun picked up the rapier, and began to assist the group.

Chris gasped as James was slashed at, A idea sprang into her head.
"James! Come check for wounds..I'm no doctor.."

I'll be fine. Once you're all through, I'll let the projection go. she replied hurriedly, continuing her struggle with the beast.
Hrothbert nodded, sliding the mouse out of his pocket. "The dragon is a magical construct, her physical form is right here. I'll change her back as soon as we get through."
Emma's dragon's head turned towards the servant Faun, looking about as sympathetic as a reptile could.

Remus decided he wouldn't wait for Emma's reply. He didn't notice the servant faun had picked up Catherine's blade and was about to engage the opposing dragon. With a yell, Remus charged at the beast again, with Perseverance raised. The beast simply snapped up the Imperator in his jaws. He shook the automaton vigorously for a moment. Remus lost his grip on Perseverance shortly before being tossed towards the edge of the floating island.
