Daichi Mayu
Ninjutsu Class | Mayu Clan | Leaf Genin
Daichi started from the top of the list with the Gale Surge jutsu. A simple jutsu, it requires no handsigns, and allows the user to mold wind chakra and fire it off in a gust to push attackers back and projectiles. Daichi gathered his chakra in him in random points to perform a random gust of wind, and released it. The result was a gentle shift in the flow of the wind, but nothing like the jutsu described. He thought upon it, and realized that the jutsu would require more chakra, and a more explosive release.

Daichi focused on his chakra, and compressed a larger amount all around his body. He then released the wind chakra, and a the wind suddenly burst out in all directions in a blast powerful enough to rip some of the grass out of the ground in the near vicinity. Satisfied, he moved on to the next jutsu now that he had the current one perfected.

Chakra: 23/25
Daichi selected the Kaze Bakuhatsu (Wind Explosion) jutsu for his next thing to learn. He faced the waterfall, which gushed water 20 meters from him, and performed 2 handsigns. He then forced wind chakra to surface on his hand, and spun it into a tight ball. As the ball of chakra sat rotating in his hand, he took a step before throwing it at the waterfall. The ball flew through the air, but dissipated into a puff of air about 5 meters before it hit the target.
Hmm, I guess I need to add a little more chakra, and provide more rotation to the chakra so it will keep its form longer. Kaze Bakuhatsu (Wind Explosion) 1/2 [Ninjutsu class learn ninjutsu in 1 less post.]
Daichi formed another ball of swirling wind chakra in his hand, but this time added more chakra and rotation to the ball. When he threw it this time, the ball stayed together throughout it's flight. When it hit the water, it exploded and sent water spraying in all directions. As the light rain drizzled onto his bare scalp, he smiled in satisfaction at how quickly he was learning these basic jutsu. He couldn't wait to move on to some bigger ones.

Chakra 21/25
Daichi formed the necessary handsigns for the next jutsu, and focused wind chakra into his hands. He let it build there until he felt he had sufficient chakra there to lift himself off the ground. However, he underestimated the strength of the jutsu, and barely got himself an inch off the ground. He formed the handsigns and tried again.
Daichi build up much more chakra this time, and loosed it at the peak of its power. To his satisfaction, he blasted himself 6 feet into the air. However, he had not calculated just how he would recover after going that high. As he fell to the ground, he closed his eyes and braced himself for the impact. However, to his surprise, after a few second an impact never came. He found himself floating a few inches off the ground.
What is this magic?! After a few seconds, he panicked, and suddenly fell on the ground. He got back up, and wondered on what had happened. He thought about levitating a few inches off the ground, and it happened. He found that he could fly into any direction, but noticed that he could not fly higher than 5 meters, but could move faster by levitating than his frail body could run. He set himself down, and prepared for the next jutsu after contemplating the uses of his levitation skill.
Chakra 19/25
Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds)
Mayu Clan skill: Levitation
Daichi moved on to the slashing wind skill, and formed a few handsigns before grabbing a kuni from his holster. Chakra surrounded the blade, and he made a quick slashing motion. Wind erupted from the blade, but died shot of the tree. For some reason, the wind seemed to need something more than a simple swing.
Slashing wind 1/2
Daichi perfomed the handsigns again, and did a whip-like motion with the kuni before slicing with it again. The wind formed a mini-tornado that blasted into the waterfall and sent water spraying everywhere. For a moment, Daichi could see scratches on the rock face behind the water before the water flowed back over it. Daichi then re-opened the wind scroll to decide on the next jutsu to practice.

Daichi thought back on when he made himself levitate, and wondered if he could do it to other objects. He took out a kuni and tossed it onto the ground. He focused on the kuni with his mind, and tried to move it. However, the kuni did not budge.
Perhaps there is more to it then just think about it, when it comes to other objects.Light Telekinetic Push 1/2
Diachi thought about the Rinnegan, and how they have to aim their hand at objects to use their almighty push. Daichi stretched out his hand, and focused on the kuni. The kuni popped up off the ground, and was pushed back a few feet.
Hmm. Daichi ended the hand motion.
Light Telekinetic Push [2/2]
I wonder if it works the other way? Daichi put his focus on the kuni again, and aimed his hand at it. The kuni wiggled for a little, but stayed still. It was simply the change in mechanics that was messing him up. He prepped his mind to try again.
Light telekinetic pull 1/2
Daichi put all of his focus into the kuni again, and aimed his hand at it. The kuni flew from the ground into his hand, which he twirled and put in its holster.
Wow, I never knew that I might be able to do more than simply talk to others with my mind. Apparently, I can move other things as well.Light Telekinetic Pull 2/2
Chakra 13/25
These techniques made Daichi wonder if perhaps there would be a way to compensate his physical weakness with such an ability. It seemed reasonable, since he could move himself and other objects. So Daichi walked up to a nearby tree with a low hanging limb. He held his fist back, and tried to charge his psychic powers into his arm. He punched at the limb, but when his focus changed over to punching he lost the charged energy. All he succeeded was to hurt his hand by punching a solid tree limb. He held his stinging knuckles in his hand, and waited for the pain to subside.
Telekinetic Enhancement 1/2
Once his hand stopped throbbing, Daichi considered were he may have gone wrong.
Perhaps I must punch, and then quickly add power behind the attack. Daichi prepared himself again, and punched at the tree. This time, he focused on pushing his fist forward after releasing the punch, and he was rewarded with the tree limb exploding into a bundle of soft twigs and falling to the ground with a satisfying
thud. With this, I may actually stand a chance should someone get close!Telekinetic Manipulation 2/2
With all of these new doors open to him, Zin began to wonder what other kinds of jutsu may be performed with his newfound powers.
Maybe I can create a shield to defend myself without the need of handsigns! Daichi took off his clothing except for his pants, and revealed his slim, pale build beneath his clothing. He walked over to the waterfall, and stood beneath its roaring waters. He concentrated on his body for a moment, and tried to push his psychic energies out. The water was pushed back somewhat, but only for a moment before it began crashing in his head again.
Light Telekinetic Shield 1/2
Daichi focused on the area AROUND him, and tried to stop the water before it hit him. He gathered his mind for a moment, and then pushed his mind outward in all directions. A sphere of telekinetic energy enveloped him in a sphere, and shimmered yellow as the water hit it. He lowered the shield, and did a victory fist-pump.
Light Telekinetic Shield 2/2
Daichi, satisfied, decided to finish his scroll. He walked under the waterfall again, and used handsigns to use the projectile deflection jutsu. He expelled a breath of chakra wind, which pushed back some of the water, but it immediately hit him in the face again. He would need more force for it to work in battle.
Yadama Henshin Bakuha (Projectile Deflection Blast) 1/2
Daichi formed the handsigns again, this time pooling more chakra in his lungs. When he expelled the wind this time, it blasted the water back a good 5 feet before it hit him again. He exited the water, and waited to dry as he contemplated his next jutsu.
