Autumn smiled and stopped right before hitting the Snowman.
"It's great to be back! Do you know where Takato and Riddle are?"
Kitty was slowly walking over to the three Hououzas.

"They're inside, both in their rooms."
Shona was developing cat-like abilites. She could see in the dark and hear quite well already.

Autumn nodded happily, the smell around her turning rather sweet.
"Alright! Thank you!"
She then dashed off towards the door, her bag swinging forwards and back as she ran. Kitty had waved to Shona and Natu, quietly walking over to door herself.

They watched them both enter, then both looked at each other.
"I know what you're thinking...that this'll end up even more horrible...and daddy might end up a horrible wreck by the end of this..."
Natu nodded, walking inside himself.
Riddle flicked his ears up, then walked out of his room and downstairs. Takato followed, having heard them too.

Both Kitty and Autumn were inside now, Natu not to far behind them. Autumn had already put down her bag, her sweet popery smell wafting thoughout the house. She was so glad to be back. Kitty was looking around, her face without an expression. She was anxious to see Riddle... To see he was alright... To see his wonderful face yet again.

Both Riddle and Takato appeared in the same room. Riddle was expressionless, except for his eyes, which held a glint of sorrow in them. Takato was happy. He was getting to see Autumn again.

At once, Kitty saw Riddle's eyes as both he and Takato came into the room. Her own eyes began to get a wondering look to them, a small frown now on her face. She immidiately went over to Riddle.
"Riddle... What's wrong...?"
Meanwhile, Autumn had not yet noticed Takato's nor Riddle's entrance. She was just too busy trying her best to look good in front of a small mirror she had brought along. She didn't want to look too messy... Otherwise, Takato might not see her true beauty.

Riddle looked around, before sighing.
"Follow me. I'd rather do this in privacy."
He started back up the stairs to his room again.
Takato walked over behind Autumn.
"Hello!"

Kitty watched as Riddle began to walk away. She turned back to Autumn, making sure she was alright. Once seeing that she was, she started after Riddle.
It was obvious from behind that Autumn was taller, but of course, Takato couldn't see just how much she had grown until she turned around. In surprise, Autumn snapped her mirror shut and turned on her heel to face Takato.
"Hello Takato!"

Riddle led her into his room. He hated to have to repeat the events, and he didn't want to depress or upset her...but she had become depressed already by him sounding depressed and upset anyway, so why try to fake it? Once Kitty was in, Riddle closed the door and soundproofed the room.
Takato stared in shock. He looked over Autumn.
"Autumn! You've grown!"

Kitty was surprised by all of Riddle's actions. She feared that she may have said something that upset him back at the Christmas party.... And that he might have really not cared for her back, only saying that he did so she wouldn't be upset.
"Riddle... What's going on..? Do I do something wrong?"
Autumn giggled and smiled.
"I sure have! Impressed?"

He took a deep breath, preparing himself to tell the tale.
He nodded.
"Yep."

She awaited the long tale from Riddle.
"Yay! I was hoping you would be! Notice anything else different about me?"

"I guess...this all started over a week ago. Most of January had gone by uneventful. Until the day my son, Ryo, moved out...then it started to get interesting. I had brought a friend along, because her daughter was moving in with him. She started helping me redecorate the shop downstairs (the house was actually an apartment, where I lived before I moved here). Once we finished...she coughed up black blood..."
He paused there and took a breath.
Takato shook his head. He didn't notice anything else.
