Kai sighed. "I don't know where I'm going." He told Tala truthfully as he slowed to a stop.
A bell rang, making Kai look up at the ceiling in annoyance. "Except, maybe to Math." He added as an afterthought.

Brooklyn grinned. "That's not what I meant and you know it." He told Bryan, poking the Russian in the chest. "I meant that the only thing I know about you is that you have a reputation as a scary guy and that you have a semi-homicidal little sister."
Brooklyn paused to consider something. "...And that you know how to dodge questions."

Bryan smirked. "Dodging questions is an ancient art form." He sighed. "My sister can be sweet." He thought for a moment. "Sometimes. And i have no idea where that reputation came from. I try to avoid people most of the time. I don't like crowds. My favourite colour is lavender. Falcons are fun to watch. I hate squash and i have a craving for nacho's at the moment. Oh and i think you're the first person around my age that i have had a conversation with in months."
He looked down at Brooklyn. "Enough information?"

Tala stopped beside Kai and groaned. "Yay, quadratic functions and all that."
He looped an arm through Kai's and dragged him off towards their lockers. "Isn't life great?" he said sarcastically.
((*rocks in fetal position* i had a nightmare about quadratic functions before, curse parabola's ...))

((Parabolas are my NIGHTMARE- we're doing a re-introduction to function in math at teh moment- funfun))
Kai smirked and let himself be dragged off by Tala. "The greatest." He said softly, forcibly pushing any and all thoughts of Brooklyn to the back of his mind.
He didn't care. He didn't want to care. He couldn't care less.
At least that's what he kept telling himself

Brooklyn grinned and nodded. "Now I don't feel like I'm being carried home by a complete stranger."
"If you try to avoid people why did you even try to speak to me yesterday?" Brooklyn asked curiously, teal eyes looking up into Bryan's face.

((ah the curves and the formula's and gah. only test i didn't get 100% on. heh - we have calculators that do it for us this year ^^))
Bryan looked down at Brooklyn and blinked then continued to watch where he was walking.
"I really have no idea."

Tala reached his locker, grabbed his books and continued to drag kai to his locker.
He was interested to know why Bryan was helping brooklyn. As far as he knew, Bryan didn't like people all that much.
He mentally shrugged and looked over his shoulder at Kai.
"So, have any plans for maths or are we going to sleep?"

((Mmmm I've named my graphics calculator beast. It is HUGE))
Kai shrugged. "Whichever requires least effort." He reached into his locker and took his books out of it. "I'm really tired." He told Tala truthfully.
"I really don't want to go to math."

Brooklyn smirked. "Well you're just full of answers, aren't you? Turn right here." He directed Bryan, pointing. "Then if you keep going down this street and go down the second one on the left my house is the wooden one with the god awful paint job"

((i have to buy mine when i go back to school. looks like it's another miss Lahring hunt. yay, i can't wait for wednesday. stare at least we wont be doing schoolwork))

Bryan headed in the direction Brooklyn pointed. "God awful paint job? It can't be the bad can it?"

Tala patted Kai's shoulder sympathetically. "Who does want to go to math?"
A small group of students walked past them, enthusiastically talking about equations and what not. Tala raised an eyebrow.
"On second thought, don't answer that."

Kai blinked as he watched the matheletes walk past. "Weird." He muttered, before looking at Tala. "Why can't we just not go? He asked planitively.

Brooklyn blinked as the bright green and faded yellow house came into view. "Are you sure about that?" He asked sarcastically.

Bryan looked at the house and stopped walking. He stood and opened his mouth a few times before shaking his head.
"Nope, i don't have anything to say about that one."

Tala sighed as he started to walk away from Kai. "Becuase that would be wagging, and we would miss out on the vital informationt hat they supposedly teach."
Tala stopped and blinked before turning back around and leaning on th elockers next to Kai.
"Can't we just not go?"

Kai smirked, "That's what I just said. I vote that school's over for today." He told Tala seriously, throwing his books back into his locker. He shut the door and locked it before turning around to face Tala.
"Please can we just go? I'm over today."

Brooklyn grinned. "See my point? Now you probably should put me down before we go in. I don't know if anyone's home or not."
I really hope no one is home Brooklyn though feverently.

Bryan walked up to the door. "Hahaha, put you down? You'd probably fall over," he said flatly but, nevertheless, he put brooklyn down gently.

Tala loked down at his book and frowned. "But that would mean i'd have to walk back to my locker, put in this hardly used book and then go." He shrugged and threw the book over his shoulder
"Who needs school? So lets go."

Kai smirked and rested an arm around Tala's shoulders. "I've taught you well young padowan" He told th redhead seriously before steering him outside the school buildings.
Kai surreptitiously checked over his shoulder, looking to make sure no teacher caught them. We're screwed if we're caught

Brooklyn hissed in pain as weight went on his legs again but quickly got over it enough to search in his picket for keys and to unlock the door.
He opened it cautiously. "Hello? Is anyone home?" He asked nervously, when he received no reply, Brooklyn gave an audible sigh of relief and beckoned to Bryan to come inside.

Bryan walked up next to Brooklyn and looked aorund. "Hm." He looked down at the other and raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you should be walking around?"

Tala chuckled. "I suppose i'd better start using the force, huh?" He looked around and snickered. "I guess this is our bad streak this week?"

Kai nodded. "I figure, if we're going to get in trouble for breaking rules we may as well break some, hm?" He reached down to grab Tala's hand and pulled him out of the school grounds.
"Rules are meant to be broken anyway." Kai said matteroffactly before sprinting away from the school until they were out of sight of it.

Brooklyn grinned and leant heavily on a small table. "I'm fine, really."
Brooklyn looked around at the meticulously clean entryway of his house. It suffered from the same unfortunate lack of colour cordination as the outside.
Nevertheless. It was home

Bryan smirked. "Uh-huh. maybe we should ask that table's opinion. You sure you wont collapse on me?"

He looped his arms around Kai's neck and leaned on him. "Maybe i should run more often...i'm tired now.

Kai rolled his eyes and leant down to pick up Tala, bridal style, in much the same way that Bryan had been holding Brooklyn. "Is that better oh master?" He asked, smirking.

Brooklyn pushed himself off the table and stood up. "I'm sure." He told Bryan, before quickly leaning down to support his weight on the table again.
He shut his eyes and sighed. "I am fine... I just..." He trailed off in his line of thought
