Leon tensed as he saw her release the arrow. Leon instantly took a step to the left and swung out his katana with his right hand. The blade cut swiftly through the arrow and with a continuos motion he swung out his left hand and caught the front half right before it reached the tree stopping it in mid air.
He took a deep breath and relaxed, and walked over to where Ami was standing.
Cool right?

"That was amazing!" Ami replied, grinning at Leon. She felt like she was smiling more than normal with her new friend, and she felt like this was the first good time she had had in months. She shook out her short blond hair and then pulled a hand through her hair. She laughed and looked at Leon. She was having a great time. "We should go get some ice cream or something." she said suddenly, smiling again. "C'mon! It'll be fun!"

Leon beamed. He was happy that he had impressed her, though he didn't really no why. He heard her suggestion. Does she mean like a date? Leon blushed at his thought.
Sure the sounds fun! After words i'll take you shopping. If your gonna stay with us youll need some clothes and stuff, and i'll probally need more gauze and painkillers.
Leon laughed and turned away from Ami and started down towards the nearest ice cream parlor.

Ami waited for a moment before skipping over to Leon. I've never skipped before. Or even been this happy. she thought. She shook the thought from her mind as she caught up with him. She nearly tripped, and as a reflex grabbed Leon's hand to steady herself. She blushed as she noticed that she was now holding his hand.

Leon looked back to Ami to make sure she was following. He saw her trip and immeadiately reached her hand out to stop her from falling. Leon realzied she was blushing and wondered why. Then reality struck leon and he blushed to as he realized they were holding hands. He wasn't sure if he was supposed to let go or not. He started to walk forward with his hand half way outta hers so if she wanted to she would continue to grab it or she could just let it slide out.

Ami blushed even redder, but grabbed hold of Leon's hand. She walked with him, their hands dangling connected between them. "So where are we going first? Shopping, or for ice cream?" she asked to distract herself. She smiled shyly at him, wondering if he wanted to hold her hand, or even be with her right now. A few hours ago, he had wanted to kill her. Does he want me here? she wondered.

Leon felt her keep hold of her hand. He immeadiately smiled and blushed. Does that mean she likes me? Will she stay? I can't believe i almost killed her just a little while ago. I'm so stupid. Leon internally kicked himself for almost killing the girl he was really starting to care for.
How about ice cream? After we go shopping and head home Shayla's probally gonna murder me with my own sword so i want My last meal to be ice cream.
Leon walked hand in hand with Ami down to the ice cream parlor.

Ami smiled. Maybe he did like her. I like you too, Leon. she said in her head, glancing sideways at him. She imagined what it would be like when they got back to Shayla. Would they keep this a secret, or would they tell them? Would they stay close, or would they go back to being distant to each other. Stop asking so many questions, and enjoy it while it lasts! she scolded herself, smiling again. They arrived shortly at an ice cream parlor.

Leon looked at Ami and saw her looking at him. Does she like me? I like you to Ami.What would shayla think of this? Would Ami stop liking him or hide it from her? Leon looked up and saw the ice cream parlor. He grudgingly let go of her hand and quickly hid there weapons behinds the parlor and returned. Like a gentleman he opened the door to the parlor for Ami.

Ami giggled as Leon opened the door for her. "Thank you." She stepped lightly into the parlor, the air conditioning making her shiver. She grabbed Leon's hand again and pulled him with her to the counter. She looked up at Leon, then turned back to the employee standing at the counter. "I'd like some vanilla ice cream, please." she looked at Leon again and waited for him to order. She shivered again.

Leon felt his hand be grabbed aggain. He willingly followed Ami to the counter and listened to her order.
Can I get cookie dough please?
Leon saw her shiver and quickly pulled her closer to him to warm her up. When the cashier told him how much leontook out his wallet and pay'd for both of their icecreams. He handed Ami hher ice cream and took his. He lightly towedher to a table and sat down across from her.

AMi allowed herself to be pulled to the table and sat down across from Leon. "Its so cold in here." she complained jokingly, shivering again. She began to eat her ice cream, glancing up at Leon every now and then, but mostly staring at the table. It felt weird to be this close to a guy. "And thanks for the ice cream."

No problem it was my pleasure. So where do you want to go shopping?
Leon saw her shiver and felt bad. He got up and walked around the table quickly. He took of his jacket and draped it over her shoulders. He sat back down and took another bite. He felt the cold and let out a shiver. All he had on now was a thin T-shirt, but he just looked at Ami and smiled. Leon wondered what would happen back at the house when mayla saw they went shopping without her. Half of his mind wondered what she would think when she saw them like this.

Ami smiled and countered him. "Where do you want to go shopping?" she asked, feeling a lot warmer as she was covered by Leon's coat. "Thanks. But know you're cold." she pointed out, eating more of her ice cream with a thoughtful expression on her face. You think too much. she thought to herself.

Leon thought for a moment.
How about a pharmacy then to Howlies, i hear they have really cool clothes there. Besides once Shayla sees i took you to Howlies im gonna need what ever you buy from the pharmacy. I'm not that cold don't worry.
Leon shivered again and finished his ice cream. He polietly waited for Ami to finish hers.
