"It isn't? I thought that males who lived in the sun would be more...courting...of their women..." Errdegahar frowned, "Do they not understand their position?"

Krystelle chuckled at that. "Oh they do understand their position and they do court. They just don't always do it in the form of watching sun rises. They take their females out to eat or go to 'romantic' places. Some even take them to movies or plays or just to a park."

Errdegahar cringed, "I do not desire to be with so many others though. I really only wish to spend time with you."

She looked at him for a moment then smiled. "That's fine. You don't have to take a female to a crowded place. I certainly don't care for them. A park or nice cave is good enough for me. I love finding things in caves. I sometimes find good crystals in them."

"We could go to a cave if you wanted. I am quite used to being in those."

"That would be wonderful. But first we must go see this sunrise." She was still looking at him and then she glanced away. It shouldn't be too much further to the lake. They could make camp there and then see the sunrise.

Errdegahar sniffed the air. "The lake is close. Would you like to rest before the sunrise, Krystelle?" He decided he liked saying her name. It gave him that warm feeling he'd had when she'd kissed him on the cheek all over again.

Krystelle looked over at him and nodded. "Yeah it's probably a good idea to rest before the sunrise. After all we've had a long day. We both could use the rest." She said. She paused for a moment about to ask if they should take turns keeping watch but then decided against it. After all it wasn't all that likely that the Drows had followed them this far and would attack again so soon after their failed attempted.

((If it weren't so close to dawn in this rp, The drows would totally attack again. XD))
"You should rest. If it pleases you, I will stay awake and make sure that none of my kinsmen can sneak upon us." The golden pony drew his sword and settled to the ground in silence.

She looked at and shook her head. She wasn't even going to fight this one. She simply settled down on the ground near Errdegahar. "Alright then. Wake me up if something happens. Or if you get tired and want to rest. Don't forget you need rest too."
((XD Nice. Krystelle would definitely try to fight them.))

Errdegahar nodded. "Alright then." He settled in a bit more and realized that the air was somewhat chilly. He frowned and looked at Krystelle. "Um...are you sure that you won't...you know...get cold?"

Krystelle looked over at him and nodded. "I should be fine. I'll just tuck my wings in tight." She said flashing him a smile. She then lowered her head and closed her eyes.

Errdegahar nodded, "Rest well." He found a close tree to lean against and kept guard. And while he made a valiant effort, he too was tired. More than he realized. Soon he was snoring softly, using the tree for support.

Krystelle had fallen asleep quickly but had mildly troubling dreams of her past. Several hours later she woke with a start. She glanced around to make sure they were still alone and then looked over at Errdegahar. She saw him standing by the tree and thought he was still awake. She gave a brief frown and stood up. She walked over to him ready to yell at him for staying up for so long with no sleep. It was only then that she noticed he was asleep. She paused not expecting him to fall asleep while he was keeping watch. She shook her head and settled down near him. She would keep watch for now and wake him as dawn grew near.

The first rays of dawn made their way to Errdegahar's closed eyes and he flinched, instinctively covering them with his hoof. He was mentally taking stock of where he was. He couldn't be in the manor with Streea. No light gets there. It was then that he remembered Krystelle. The demon jumped to attention, drawing his sword and swearing in the drow tongue.
