[Jenny :: Oogie's Pit]

The mage jumped back at the appearance of the daggers, the way they weaved through portals was startling. She was about to smack at them, believing them to be one of Oogie's tricks before Louis shouted out to her.

Flute girl? The phrase rolled around in Jenny's mind, she was slightly amused but let it pass. She was about to shout out her thanks before she realized she should keep playing though how long she could hold up the meteors was questionable. Although by the time Oogie had moved backwards and summoned the appearance of the heartless, Jenny stopped the onslaught of meteors and attempted a different tactic.

Playing a different tune on her flute, large dark purple spheres started to form around the heartless that surrounded Oogie, trapping them in a field of high density so that they would be crushed by their own weight. She smirked just a little as the song ended before shouting out to Louis. "Thanks a bundle!"

[[Louis : HT : Oogie's Pit]]

The shadowmancer grinned as she yelled back to him, his advance moving a bit slower than originally intended. The addition of heartless into the mix gave Louis more reason to hurry. He could expand the guard of his daggers to completely surround Jenny, but then the density of their wall would become too thin and most things would slip through. If he wasn't able to get to her soon, the heartless might be able to surround her, and end her song. Normally, he wouldn't be so worried about someone being surrounded, but she had no effective weapon aside from when she was playing her flute, and if that takes a bit of time to wind up in order to fire... then that's all the time they'd need.

Several heartless swooped in and struck at Louis. The white nights, which he had used before to attack the other earthlings in the catacombs were now attacking him. Louis struck the first right across the chest, a thin line drawing itself over it's surface as he passed by, a second later, it burst into shadow. Several more repeated this process spawning in his path, and cut down by the very element that embodied them.

Finally, two gargoyles flew in from above. Louis leaped up to meet them, grappling with one as it tried to carry him up into the air. The other closed in fast, and Louis knew if it continued they'd simply tear him apart, or drop him and see what an earthling looks like after falling a good distance.

Louis pulled his rapier back and plunged it into the heartless symbol on the gargoyles chest. It immediately returned to its intangible dark form, and Louis began to fall. To his pleasure, the other gargoyle was too stupid to just let him hit the ground, it rushed up, allowing Louis to stab his rapier into its shoulder, and grapple onto its neck.

Th two careened at the floor, until Louis shifted, allowing the heartless to soften the blow. Louis rolled on the ground several feet, then plopped on the ground, finally at rest. As he struggled to his feet, there was a momentary sigh from Louis, glad to feel the earth beneath his feet again. Then, timed almost perfectly to ruin his moment of contentment, a card, delayed a few seconds shot out of the floor underneath his jaw.

Louis flipped backwards into a roll again, finally stopping, luckily and surprisingly at his destination, right next to Jenny. Louis struggled to stand up, his head dizzy and hurting like it's been effectively hit by a train, "That... could have gone better." Louis shook his head, trying to clear it. He looked up to spot Jenny. He smiled through the raging migraine he'd have to deal with later, "Pleasantries and salutations will have to wait till later Miss. First things first, let's keep you safe."

[Cory .:. HT .:. "The Gorge"]

Cory came to a stop at the old site of Oogie's Lair, the lack of the enormous house making the area look as barren as always. The Resolve around his legs had died out long before he reached the place- after all, the Disney group weren't exactly going in a straight line. Those idiots had me running all over town... He followed the trail all the way to the sewer entrance, only to come face to face with a large steel door.

"Well... This blows. How am I supposed to get my wallet back now? And how the hell do I know they didn't walk right into a trap and aren't getting destroyed as I speak?" The renegade ronin sighed before slipping his hands in his pockets, staring down the door as if to say "you ruined my fun". Though, he could feel that he was about to have some fun, anyway. The Flock's leader looked over his shoulder as the gathering darkness behind him, the grin on his face becoming more and more apparent as he turned to face the enemy.

"A Dualblade? Now this could be interesting..." Cory summoned the blade as the black and blue flames began to fill the air around him, sliding into battle stance as he added, "And here I thought I was just going to have to wait for those losers to open this door from the inside. Lucky me that I get a sparring partner!"

[Kyla: LoD: Throne Room]

((Sorry for the long wait- I'm making the story boards and have been doing NOTHING ELSE T.T I only got to shower in 3 days last night! jebuss..and i'm STILL not done))

Kyla kept hidden behind her protectors, thankful for the support while her powers were inactive.

With Kichi blocking her from attacks, gave the knight and gunblader to attack at their leisure. Accepting his hands she pulled herself up from the floor, and decided ot be proactive and draw in her page ahead of time... sooner or later her powers HAD to come back, they just had to!

...she'd be ready to give a beating when they did.

She watched and waited, sketching something on her 2 fresh pages an idea forming in her mind as she watched the heartless creature.

Trying to think of an effective way to form her pictomancey attacks.

And then- it happened! The orbs were shattered, and she could feel that constricting feeling inside give away- her adrenalin coursed through her veins like fire..or was her mana! Yes! Her mana!

~ Aibou!~

Tyue! She could heard her again! Which could only mean-

"Kyla!" The keyblader called her, "Use your magic!"

She was about to- until 2 unidentified flying peoples, or UFP's soared towards them- someone shoved her out of the way and they flew over her head.

Cloud & Axel! Holy jeez!

[Axel: LoD: Throne Room]

Axel and Cloud were working together very well actually, striking with his chakram when the chance arose. the only down side was when the Kurt Zisa turned out to be smarter then the nobody was hoping and latched it's mechanical arms around him and Blondy.

He grunted in pain as the vice like squeeze nearly blew the wind out of his body- ' Oh this can't be good.'

The world spun and blurred into motion as he and Cloud were tossed in the direction of 3 people!

"Eeeeyah heads up!"

A hand! He reached for it and his grip tightened around the Paladins strong feminine hand. He saw Beatrix's face in the tumbling swirl and both went tumbling, slowing down the fall. Axel instantly grappled onto the Paladin, half holding onto her, half shielding her as they rolled across the floor. When it was over he groan and pushed himself up but had some trouble as the woman was tangled in his limbs.

"...ow.. th-thanks Beatrix." He moaned, shaking his head. Better gather his wits, fight wasn't over yet!

With care he finally managed to get his legs and arms untangled and pushed himself up, offering a hand to his savoir.

"Ready?! They're starting without us!"

[Kyla: LoD: Throne Room]

The pictomancer got back to her feet, and now made ready to attack- but this time she'd be smart about it. There were people already making their assault.

Kyla called out her warning! Learning from what almost happened to Maggie, and gave them a chance to put some space between themselves... and whatever she was going to do to Kurt Zisa.

"Here I go! Back away!!" Already her sketch book was illuminating and charging the attack.

She had to make the most of this attack, who knew if it could bring those stupid orbs back, this shot was going to count-

In 3 ..... 2 ..... 1!!!!!

[ Kyle / Sora : HT : Oogie's Pit ]

As Oogie moved away and the cards were torn to pieces, Kyle slowly began to calm down, his breathing quick and shallow and his eyes wide with what seemed to be rage more than anything. The spider webs were long gone, and he was slipping back into his controlled state- there was no threat. He was okay.

.:You can handle Heartless of any shape and size without blinking, but spiders are considered a threat. Such a strange hume.:.

Ignoring the voice, he tried to look around, see where everyone was at, try and regain what was going on in the battle. Heartless had been summoned, Louis was protecting Jenny, everyone seemed to be handling themselves pretty well-

.:You hit the fan-girl, by the way~:.

Cursing under his breath, found Dawn facing a Heartless of her own. Throwing his free hand out, a soft white glow enveloped Dawn for a brief second, healing her minor wounds. "Sorry about tha- praghr!"

Kyle was suddenly knocked onto his face by an blast from a Gargoyle. Quickly rolling up, he fired two successive Banish waves at the Heartless, blasting it into black dust.

We can focus on the Heartless all day long, it won't stop them from just reappearing. We need to get Oogie and save the Enchantress!

Summoning another Starlight sphere into his hand, he looked over to Oogie's position, where he was still guarded by cards. The orb would just destroy a card and do no damage to Oogie. He needed to get through the card...

... it's worth a shot.

Sora had quickly resummoned his Keyblade upon the failed attack and was just about to send another Strike Raid when he noticed the trouble some of the people were having with Heartless. Well, he couldn't blame them- they weren't aces at this yet like he was. Of course, the Keyblade probably helped with that, but he liked to think he had most of the credit.

"Magnera!" the Keyblade Master shouted, pointing his Key toward the center of the pit. A large, swirling yellow force of energy appeared, drawing in at least half of the nearby Heartless and giving the group a chance to do what they needed. Of course, with the Haste spell running out, Sora made one last choice-

"Thundaga!"

A large bolt of lightning suddenly appeared above the target, shooting downward with electric fury and hopefully zapping him good- that is, Oogie Boogie.

[HT: Oogie's Pit]

Actually, Joe was enjoying himself a lot. Who know that jumping off giant, metal cards, just to double jump over them, could be so entertaining?

Well, till the heartless showed up. They kinda became a party pooper.

Still, though, they really didn't stop his advance, and once he was close enough(and high enough), the fighter flung his staff at Oogie, grabbed a nearby gargoyle with his legs and brought it down into the ground with a loud crack, before quickly getting up and delivering a swift axe kick to it's chest, destroying it fairly easily.

Of course, he hoped his staff would hit, as he leaped up and started delivering more kicks to the flying/floating/jumping enemies, but he wasn't sure if it'd actually connect or not.

{ Kurt Zisa ~ The Fury of the Desert }

With every strike, every attack, the snake-like neck and head seemed to just bobble about, knocked back and forth like a tether ball. His body remained unmoved due to his massive size, even by such powerful attacks like Demyx's Water Geysers. Finally, with Kyla's large Birn Strike exploding into Kurt Zisa's face, there seemed to be some sort of reaction-

Its golden eyes flashed fiercely at the warriors as his neck swiftly pulled itself back into its heavily-armored body. It stood, grabbing the heavy blades off the ground with the higher air of arms, and...

He began to hover. He lifted the two blades so that they crossed over his head, and immediately after doing so, a magical, spherical barrier appeared around his body. If any of the fighters even attempted a physical attack, their limbs would go numb for a few seconds. Magic was the only option now.

Kurt Zisa's first choice of action? A furious lightning storm, causing dozens and dozens of lightning bolts to strike at random from the sky above, targeting anyone and everyone.

[[Everyone should do a post action now- random number generator between 1 and 2. 1, it hits you even if you try to dodge. 2, you can (if you want) dodge successfully.]]

{Kyle(II) : Land of Dragons : Throne Room}

Watching the battle progress, Kyle had taken a little, 'tactical retreat'. What this fabulous plan included was sitting and watching Kurt Zisa's pattern. Well, he hoped the giant Heartless had a pattern. It would make life oh so easier. And even when the beast fell forward and it's vulnerable neck came out, Kyle still hadn't moved. Although this was more of the 'let's not get hit by all of the attacks going towards a small weak point' variety.

However, it seemed that he wasn't going to be able to just sit back and watch anymore. As Kurt Zisa started to float in the air, Kyle almost tried to attack it, but then he saw the magical barrier. He didn't really like it when the enemy had magical powers. It usually ended badly.

Instead of trying to jump and strike it through the barrier, Kyle knelt down, shoved his katars into the ground, then swiftly stepped up and pulled them out, shouting, "Earth Fang!" Almost as soon as the earth began to shoot forward in spikes towards Kurt Zisa, the lightning storm began. Looking up, he noticed a bolt coming straight towards him. Too fast. He thought to himself, just before the bolt hit.

Intense pain rocketed through his body, shocking him to his very core. He couldn't even find the strength to scream out in pain, all he could do was breath as he fell down, looking at the floating Heartless.

[Jenny :: Oogie's Pit]

The time mage smiled at Louis in return, although with her lips on the flute, kit might have looked like a grimace instead. She was really grateful for his help, without needing to worry about the heartless around her, she put her total trust in this new stranger. Maybe she was too trustful of others, but she had no time to second guess herself now.

~"Watch your mana level Jenny."

I know, but if it's done correctly, I won't need to worry so much about mana after this...

Siren sighed, "I hope so... deep breath now-"

Jenny tried to calm her nerves, she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply. She gently blew into the flute and her fingers danced across the instrument. Please work... The haste runes soon reappeared under each of her companions, lit up brighter than before. Jenny then transitioned into a different song altogether, bridging together the melodies, a giant green rune appeared beneath Oogie, flickering for a second until it burst into tiny nypmhs who then proceeded to flutter around the bag of bug, the chains slowly tightening over Oogie's amorphous limbs in hopes immobilizing him.

{ Dualblade }

The beast hopped back and forth on its two legs, its blade-arms to its side and eyes watching Cory with the obvious intent to attack. There was a moment of pause at first before, in a flurry of movement, it spun its body around like a twister, flying at Cory with its blades slicing at multiple angles.

[Cory .:. HT .:. "The Gorge"]

Darkness and the Indomitable Will began to build up around Cory's body, the flames vanishing from his eye just before they intensified around his calves for a moment. In that moment the renegade ronin pushed back away from the Dualblade, the enhancement on his legs increasing the distance of the backstep. Before even landing on the ground, darkness and fire began to build up around Cory's free hand as he tossed the blade to the side.

The Indomitable Will spread to Cory's other arm now, prompting him to crack his knuckles in amusement. "You're not even properly worth my time, man. I'll take you on with my bare fists!" The ronin charged the Dualblade this time, his fists clenched as he jumped into the air. Cory clasped his hands together tightly and brought them over his head just before swinging down with all his might at the Heartless' head.

[Cloud ; Maggie : Land of Dragons : Throne Room]

Cloud caught Jon's hand, or should he say, Jon caught him. He made eye contact for a brief moment beforehand, and heard the warning to get ready easily enough. He didn't know how he knew, but somehow he knew exactly what Jon was planning to do. Like he had done it before... Soon enough the spinning stopped, the momentum of his flight changing direction as he was released once again, this time aiming for the very Heartless that had thrown him in the first place.

"GO!!"

His sword followed after him, and he caught it easily in midair, bringing it to bear on the head of the large Heartless as he 'landed'. There wasn't much fancy to it, no stabbing it in and dragging it along its length, but the hit was powerful. He jumped back as Kyla's bird strike exploded into its face, and noting the fierceness in its eyes, made no immediate attacks.

Oh, yeah, the adrenalin was pumping now. The fierceness in the Heartless's eyes as its head retreated was matched by the monk's own. It retracted its head, and quickly, but not before she got a parting kick in, her foot kicking faster than even she thought she was capable of. Bruce Lee style. Heck yes. She fully planned to follow through with her attacks, and even begun doing so as it started to hover. She planted one foot firmly, and sprung, high enough to land another series of blows.

"Hey!"

Cloud grabbed a hold of the girl, pulled her back as she leaped. "Not yet," was all the explanation he offered.

Maggie would have rolled her eyes, and protested, had the person who had just grabbed her around the waste not been Cloud Strife. Cloud Strife. ... Cloud Strife.

Cloud looked back to Maggie, saw that she wasn't moving, as if dumbstruck. She had the oddest look on her face. "Are you okay?"

And then they both got struck by the same lightning bolt.

[Dawn : Oogie's Pit]

Dawn glanced over her shoulder seeing a momentary flash of light behind her. She was surprised when her wounds were healed, leaving behind only a slight ache but nothing too serious. Dawn stood up hearing Kyle's interrupted apology. So that was where that attack that hit her came from. But as she saw it was him who healed her, she couldn't be too mad.

"Your forgiven..." she said looking around herself and away from Kyle, "ThisTIIIMEOHCRAP!"

Dawn had glanced over her shoulder in time to see a Search Ghost coming right at her. Dawn quickly ended her conversation with Kyle in a cluster of words as she jumped out of the path of the heartless, just able avoid the hit, thanks to Jenny's new haste spell. Dawn quickly struck at the heartless with three quick consecutive strikes. The final blow being a slash sideways with the blade on her left fan.

[Mulan and Mushu : Land of Dragons : Throne Room]

Mulan ran up close to Kurt Zisa, able to land a couple of good blows before the heartless started moving again. Mulan quickly retreated as Cloud and Maggie did. She watched as the Kurt Zisa started to hover.

"How are we supposed to get him now?" Mushu asked from his perch on Mulan's shoulder.

"I am not sure..."

One of the lightning strikes came down and hit both her and Mushu. The electricity caused Mulan to go to her knees body both in pain and numb from the attack.

{James : Halloween Town : Oogie's Pit}

James knew against Oogie and all of the annoying cards he was useless. So he stuck to what he was doing and that was blast as many of the Heartless as he could. A great number of them though were taken care of by Sora and his Mangera spell. Though there were still some left for him to focus on. The Heartless that were melee based were relatively easy for the corsair to deal with, provided of course he stayed away from them. After Jenny's haste glyph reappeared beneath his feet again he quickly dispatched any White Knight and Search Ghosts that tried to approach him. However, he was taking damage too... The Gargoyles and their dark blasts hitting him time and again though the haste spell did increase his chances of dodging the blasts.

His breathing was getting rather heavy, his left arm hanging limply at his side it had gotten a pretty bad beating when one of the blasts from the Heartless send his left side slamming hard into one of the cards. It wasn't broken but it definitely ached when he moved it so he was trying not to. Despite the pain though he reached into his pocket and drew out from the deck box the all too familiar card that was marked with the color and symbols of a flame. The all too familiar heat and glowing red emanating from the card as he raised it high.

"Fire Shot!"

He yelled out and pulled the trigger of his gun, the sound of a small cannon erupting from the barrel of his hexagun as a massive fireball was released from it's chamber. The ball blowing to oblivion one of the annoying Gargoyles.

'They need to hurry up and end this...'

{Auron : Halloween Town : Oogie's Pit}

Auron continued on his attacking, breaking down any of the other cards that popped up in his path. He was getting very close to Oogie and yet at the same time he had a strong feeling that the fight was getting very close to reaching it's conclusion. At least that is what he was sure they all hoped.

{General Li Shang and Leon : Land of Dragons : Throne Room}

Just as Leon got a final shot off at about the same time as Kyla's byrn strike Kurt Zisa sprang back into action. His bobbing head drawn back into it's armored body and suddenly it began to hover, his blades crossed over his head. Before Leon could do anything to try and dodge, Kurt Zisa created a furious lightning storm sending bolts of lightning everywhere. Before he could possibly hope to dodge a bolt struck him hard.

"Gah!!"

He cried out in pain as the lightning charged through his body, knocking it completely numb as he fell to his knee. The only thing that kept him from falling to the ground completely was the Gunblade which he dug into the floor for support.

]Shang quickly moved back away from Kurt Zisa as he began to hover and just as the lightning struck he jumped back just in time to avoid a bolt which scorched the floor right where he had stood. He quickly jumped high bringing his sword down in a strike against the Heartless only to have it reflected, the force sent right back at him as he fell to the floor.

"It seems that regular attacks won't work now..."
