Epitaph

Epitaph ducked down under Solaris, her eyes began to glow as she shut them tightly and too formed a shield over the two as a second line of defense. It wasn’t much compared to a Light Screen and her inactivity didn’t help either, but bloodline abilities were better than nothing when it came to an attack like that.

“How does anything have power like that…?” Epitaph asked, opening one of her eyes as she looked back at Orion—or at least what she could see of him through the flying debris.

Solaris---Lady Neon
"My grandfather was gifted by Arceus with this divine power. It runs in my family..."
Solaris explained to Epitaph, lowering his protect shield as the Judgement attack died down.
The Espeon looked to Tolin as he began to shout, eyes wide.
Had Grandfather been planning this all along.
"Tolin...what...what exactly is going on he-"But he was cut off quickly as Neon's teleport engulfed them all.
The female Espeon reacted without question to the statement, she'd heard everything, she knew what was at stake.

Alice

A small Ralts sat at a far table in the Library, although a safe distance from the far back of the large room itself.

Something... lingered there.

On her claimed table were a number of books, about five or six and three of them flipping pages by her psychic, the other two she glanced between back and forth rather frequently.
Overall, her reasons for being there were rather basic. Finding out more about this area.
Boring? Maybe, but at least it would give her a lead on these strange newer topics. Gods, crazy Pokemon, why some of the members here in general were acting so strange...

She sighed, leaning back in her chair as she closed her eyes and rubbed her temples for a moment in slight stress. Two of the books later closed. Quite a start so far.

Azra

Azra clutched her books tightly to her chest, staring up at the massive, wooden doors with wide eyes. They were huge compared to the small Riolu, who pressed a paw to the heavy wooden door.
It held firm under the pressure, and she made a face, pressing harder until she felt it begin to budge. She kept it up, feeling her little muscles strain, and she managed to slip through the tiny gap she'd made, sliding the book in after her.
She nodded to herself, satisfied with the result of her efforts, and moved silently across the library toward a small table in the corner of the library.
The Riolu set it carefully down atop the surface, and paused, brushing her fingers over the title once more, as if to memorize the feel of the cover or the words beneath her fingers.
A Healer's Guide to Poisons and Infections certainly seemed a heavy book for someone so young to be reading, but the look of determination of her face made it obvious that she'd put in a lot of time to understand every word of it. True, it had still taken weeks to get through, but at least she'd done it.
She opened up the cover, and pulled out several sheets of paper that she'd stowed inside, looking them over. Various notes and diagrams were scribbled all over, the paper thin from Azra's constant erasing.
It was only then that she remembered something crucial; she was missing a pencil.
She looked around, searching for something she could write with. Although she didn't find anything of the kind, what she did find was more interesting. A small, white and pink Ralts. She had long hair, and a silvery white bow on the back of her head.
Azra walked up, and quietly tapped the table surface, smiling confidently. "Do you have a pencil I can use?" She simply asked, her eyes bright. The Ralts was certainly unusual; she seemed nice, though.

Alice

She opened an eye, moving her small hands from her temples as she stared at the slight movements of the door and soon the yellow Riolu. She blinked as she approached, but she didn't seem like a threat.

At least she could relax.

With a slight breath, she hovered her hand across the table, the remaining books closed. Her eyes, which changed view to the table remained down as the Riolu made her way here and stated her question.

A pencil?

She looked up after a moment, then smiled.

"Yes, there was one on the desk a moment ago..." Her voice faded out as her eyes scanned the table quickly.
The pencil appeared to have vanished.

She blinked, still for a moment before keeling down on the chair to get a view under the table and smiled again, picking up the fallen pencil and quickly sat up again, holding it out to Azra.

"Studying, I assume?"

Azra

Azra nodded cheerfully, accepting the offered pencil. "I want to learn how to be a healer~" She replied, her eyes shining with excitement at the thought. "Battles are scary, so I want to make it better for the other guild members who have to fight!"
She turned around, and held up the book she'd set onto the table behind her. "Poisons and in-fec-tions..." She had to sound out that word a lot, since it was so strange to hear. But she was getting a lot better at it. "My Mom says a lot of Pokemon show up in the hospital with that sort of thing, so I want to learn as much as I can!"
Azra was indeed a typical child. A simple question was to be interpreted as a demand for a life story.

Genesis

Genesis floated into the library, looking for something to read while her teammate got the supplies and found out what their first mission together would be. Genesis scanned and searched around the bookshelves, floating by many others as she looked.
She finally found about four or five books that caught her eye, balancing them on her head she floated to the nearest table and began to read up on the history of the shimming ice guild. She was fascinated and the things the guild had accomplished. As she read about this guild, she found out about many more guilds, she was surprised and awestruck with the rich history these guilds had.

Silvia

A dark cloud of blue gently sifted through books and shelves as it explored the library.
The cloud floated right below a particular Shuppet before drifting up and behind her.
The round, black body of a Ghastly appeared.
Young Silvia curiously looked over Genesis' shoulder, reading the book she was reading.
It was rude and annoying to most, but Silvia was still very young and didn't understand such things.

Genesis

Genesis Felt a presence behind her and turned to look behind her. She tensed up instinctively after realizing it was a ghost type. After carefully looking at little Silvia she saw there was no threat. She relaxed and made space for Silvia at the table.
"Hello, I'm Genesis and you are?" Genesis said trying her hardest to smile, but not working out as she had hoped. She sighed sadly and stopped trying to smile and went back to looking at her book.

Silvia

Silvia blushed a little, her face going to a slight shade of purple as she shied away a little.
She was hoping she'd be able to go unnoticed, since she didn't want to get into a conversation she literally couldn't take part in.
The Ghastly tried hovering a little closer, trying to get another look at the book.
She hadn't gotten to read much, but what she did get was interesting and she wanted to know more.

"Would you like me to read you the book?"
Genesis said still looking at her book, knowing that little Silvia was still somewhere behind her. She got a chair from the other side of the table and put it next to her. She sighed when she started to read about the towns and landmarks of the frozen country. She had been to many of the places the book had mentioned. Usually hiding from other wilder, more aggressive pokemon.

The Ghastly smiled a little and nodded.
She could read, but it was always nice to have someone read to you.
She drifted over to the table and, since she couldn't really sit, just hovered above the chair set for her.
Silvia listened to the book as it was read to her, pondering all the things she heard in her mind.

Alfred---Scarlet
For all her mothering instinct and sense of compassion, Scarlet was at a loss for what to do.
It wasn't always she met a wall like Alfred was at the moment. No reactions, no expression, he didn't say a word. The Gardevoir had taken some consoling upon waking before he recognized the Flygon. Even then it was only recognition as a friend and not Scarlet herself.
It was odd how things as little as names and Pokemon vanished so quickly. Her stomach tightened and she frowned in silence.
Sitting near the window, she could see the garden below that she'd originally tried to coax Alfred out into but he'd refused to take a single step out into the sun and dejected she'd switched ideas to the library. It was quiet, cool, the room itself as rather homey. Scarlet personally preferred the outdoors, but at least he'd taken to it quickly.
The Flygon turned to glance back at the table he was sitting at, book in hand and ignoring the world around him.
Well, it was better than the blind terror and panic from when he'd first woken up to find the dragon in the room with him.
Still, she wished he'd say something...

Unfortunately for Scarlet that wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Alfred had decided it wasn't worth it. Speaking, voicing his opinions or complaints. No one cared, he certainly didn't. All he did now was just exist and it was maddening. He...couldn't remember anything. The Flygon had had to tell him his own name, he couldn't tell where he'd woken up at, didn't understand why he was even there.
The overwhelming sense of hopelessness had piled down until he drowned in it, but surfacing had lead to some sense of solace.
Reading. Reading was wonderful. He didn't have to remember anything to read, thank Arceus he still knew that at the least.
It didn't matter the book, he wasn't particularly picky so long as there was something to lose himself in aside from the feeling of being lost.

Anues

This was exhausting, and a waste of time. Having the will to go wherever you wanted was nice, but knowing he couldn't simply go home without checking on the older Gardevoir bothered him. He probably shouldn't have visited Ethfael first. That meeting was a bit of a shocker to say the most and now his mind was flooded. That was his cue to leave, but it wasn't an option. Not yet. Get this over with, leave, and hope Aire doesn't b***h at you to do something else. Simple enough.
A screech sounded some distance behind Alfred upon being located, leaving Anues to simply take a few steps forward before halting, remaining some safe distance behind the other Gardevoir as he stared at him idly. "I was told to check on you, though you don't seem to be dying so I assume everything's fine." His attention drifted off to the Flygon as he spoke. He didn't recognize her, but due to her idle, it was safe to assume she was with Alfred. He watched her for only a moment, silently gesturing his passive position before turning his attention about what he could see of the library from where he stood.
Why did he have to do this? Alfred seemed like someone everyone was watching anyway-- though their last meeting begged to say otherwise. Anues frowned at the thought. It was probably why Aire threw this at him in the first place. He never really bothered thinking about it, he simply did it. Not that he could exactly protect himself or Alfred with a broken arm. Whatever soothed her conscious though.

Era & Phione

A certain winged Pikachu made her way quickly through the halls, heading for a quiet place to escape the tension that had built up amongst the others. It had died for the most part by now, but she still needed a minute to herself, if only to recollect her bearings. Phione tagged along quietly behind her, sensing the urgency in Era's pawsteps, the little Water Type didn't say a word. After Anues had left, Era had been quick to leave, and Phione came with her out of hope that he'd be able to cheer her up. Right now though, Era was so focused on getting away from the Team Room that even if Phione tried to say something to her she disregarded it. It was like she needed to get where she was going or else she wouldn't be able to breath. The tension had constricted her to the point where she just had to get away; even though it had died down before Anues had left, it was still too much for her right now. Her paws led her to the Library; her thoughts on a certain book that she'd noticed the last time she'd been there. It was a book of past legends, some of which were true and others which were not. She'd read similar books, but this one had seemed a little different than the other ones. When she'd found it before however, she'd been called away back to her Team Room before she'd been able to check it out, so this time she intended to take it with her. If she had something to read then she wouldn't be so bothered, it'd be alright.

As the pair made their way into the Library, Era felt a sudden release of stress, relaxing considerably from her urgency from before. Letting out a sigh, she looked back at Phione who was panting slightly from traveling so quickly. "I'm sorry Phione," she said, patting the little Pokemon gently on the head with a smile, "I'm alright now." Phione smiled, hugging her tightly; words weren't really necessary to express his contentment. Era felt a pang of guilt for forcing him to worry so much, so she resolved to make it up to him now that she was in a more stable state of mind. "We're here now though, so how about we find a book for you, alright?" she said soothingly, hugging the little Water Type back. Phione nodded, taking her hand and together they set off through the bookshelves to find something for him.

As they meandered about, Phione's expression gradually brightened and the Water Type relaxed comfortably. As they neared the back of the large room, a familiar voice touched on their ears and Phione's eyes lit up with delight. It was a very odd coincidence that they would end up in the same place just after what all had happened. Era was just about to take Phione's hand on pull him back from rounding the corner to find the Gardevoir but the little Water Type had very different ideas. "Anuuuuuuuuu!" the Phione called cheerfully racing around the corner and out of Era's sight. With a sigh, Era rounded the corner as well to find Phione clinging to Anues' leg yet again. "I find you this time!" he said cheerfully, not minding the other Gardevoir and the Flygon in the slightest.

Era's ears drooped in embarrassment and she came forward as well, "P-Phione you really shouldn't burst in on other people's conversations like that..." she said quietly. Her gaze fell on the other Gardevoir and the Flygon; she recognized Alfred from before but the Flygon was a new face to her. "Sorry about this..." she said to the three, standing awkwardly nearby Phione and trying not to meet anyone's eyes.
