The ball is fragile and can be destroyed by nothing short of an explosive tag. It has a spherical territory of five meter's. This technique last's for three of the uers post, but can be resupplied with chakra of equal rank to keep it going.

The technique allows the user to channel Raiton chakra throughout their body. however this requires Great Chakra Control and Electricity Resistance Training.

Is it a state of zero gravity, or is it pulling you away from the earth?
Also, if something is fragile, then wouldn't that mean that you could break it with a kuni? An explosion is considered a lot of force.

A state of zero gravity, however the sphere is constantly firing off force to negate the effects of gravity. Everything is always drifting away from the sphere, which is what made me think a kunai would lose most of it's force when thrown into the field. An explosive tag within one meter proximity would destroy it.

I guess what I am trying to ask is could a medical ninja push off of the ground with her knees, and bash the sphere with a kuni to break it?
And to make sure I got it right, the sphere negates gravity and pushes you away from itself?

Well that depends on how strong the medical ninja's push off is...If it can overcome the sphere's repulsive field long enough to hit the sphere I would have to say yes, they could break the sphere. I guess as long as they provide a burst of chakra greater to or equal to the rank of the jutsu, they would be able to hit it hard enough to break the sphere.

And yes to your second question.

what class is your character and does it have speed as any strength?
I'm thinking that when you use this jutsu, your speed would go up a rank as a strength. So if it was tertiary before, it is secondary now. That way it is more specific.

Ninjutsu class. Since I don't have speed as a strength mabye it could temporarily switch places with one of my strength, like Intelligence?
PostPosted: Fri Feb 19, 2010 8:11 am

No, what I meant is that whatever rank of strength speed is for your character has, it goes up one while the jutsu is active. It is not in your list of strengths, then it becomes a tertiary strength in potency. If it is a secondary weakness, then it becomes a neutral statistic. Does that make sense?

[This jutsu is for general use]
Name of Jutsu: Eternal Vow Jutsu
Rank of Jutsu: B
Description: This jutsu binds a person to a promise under pain of death. Both Participants clasp right hands, and make the "hush" sign with the other hand. Each person then says "I am making [X number] vows." A barrier then appears around the participants, and nothing can get through, under, or over the barrier. Anything that was inside the barrier is pushed out other than the vowers. You cannot teleport in or out. Then one asks, "What is your eternal vow?", and the other says "I vow for eternity..." After all the vows are made, both people say "I agree to all of these vows." If at any point someone wants to back out before the end of the ceremony, they stop the "hush" sign, and the barrier will disappear along with negating any vows made. Once they agree to all the vows, both targets will glow with their respective chakra colors for a moment, and then those people are held to their promises. If a person breaks the promise, he or she dies immediately. Now, say the person you swear to dies. Then you are no longer held to the promise. If you indirectly break the promise [Example, you promise never to speak to a rouge nin about your village, but a person you talk to goes rouge shortly after], then you will not die from the vow. However, if you do not word it right, and you don't say "I will never knowingly talk to a rouge nin about our village" but you just say you will not talk to rouge ninjas, then you will die if you talk to one that is pretending not to be a rouge but really is.

Rp Sample Deil enters the predetermined place that the Hokage specified, where he would clear his name. Two witnesses followed close behind him. His village had just allied themselves with the Hokage, and they had previosly been enemies before a couple days ago. He had been accused of being in league with the Akasuki, and he would prove that he never had. He arrived before the Hokage, and clasped his hand and put his finger to his lips. "I am making one vow." Deil said.
"I am making zero vows" said the Hokage. A green barrier appeared around the two, and the hokage asked, "What is your eternal vow?"
Deil then replied, "I vow for eternity that I will never will and never had allied myself with an akasuki member."
"I agree to all of these vows." The Hokage said, with a neutral face.
"I agree to all of these vows." Deil said, and then immediately blue chakra engulfed Deil while red the Hokage. In that brief moment, Deil saw a mad gleam in the eyes of the hokage, one that the witnesses could not see because they were behind the hokage. The chakra disappeared, and Deil wondered, What was up with that look in his...UGH!" He fell on the ground, with an incredible pain in his chest. He coughed up blood, and the hot taste of iron pervaded his mouth. But I've never allied with an akasuki...wait. He looked up at the hokage, unable to breathe. The Hokage and the witnesses just walked away, having been in league with the Hokage the whole time. That b*****d! He's a... Alright that makes sense, I'll edit soon.

Please post the new version as soon as you finish so you can use these techniques once your character gets out of the exam.

About the jutsu you created, can it be 'tricked' by a clone or does it affect the real caster? Also villages wouldn't want their genin and Chuunin making fatal vows so mabye this should be reserved for ANBU, Certified Jounin, Kages, and Sannin after they make a vow promising not to misuse the technique..Just my suggestions >.>

Denied, and for the very reason the RP Sample portrays. Do you realize hiw easy it would be for People to walk around killing others with this? No jutsu or technique should result in instant death.

...its also silly that the Kage can enter without swearing a vow. Deil is just a dumbass for entering a vow situation when they aren't also vowing something, especially when they could simply be doing so under false pretense.

If I were to allow this, both sides would have to be vowing to the same thing... and only the person who CONSCIOUSLY makes a decision to BREAK the vow should suffer.

Uh, only the person that makes a vow and breaks it dies, not both of them. And like I already put in there, its all in the words. And I already included the fact that weather or not you die from consciously breaking it is all in how you say your vow. Read it ALL again and then get back to me.

Excuse me? I read it ALL VERY carefully... and I realized all of those things, and I understood exactly what you were saying.

However, I disagree with how it's written. I'm saying that BOTH of the users should have to make a vow, and that the death penalty should only apply IF one of them CONSCIOUSLY BREAKS the vow. Otherwise, it's just a BS way to kill someone.
