Miazi finally managed to stop choking. She looked up at Tsukiya. "It was just a nightmare. I'll be fine," she said as she rolled over onto her side.

Tsukiya wasnt quite sure if Miazi was telling the whole story, but he decided not to inquire further into it, because she would tell more when she wanted to. so Tsukiya went back to sleep.

Nasumi returned Shadow's lick and smile, "tell the others i went hunting, you can come if you want though." she stood, and a flicker of fox eyes penetrated her's and then dissapeared. She was very hungry. Nasumi started to walk deeper into the forest, looking back to see if anyone was following her.

Shadow jumped after Nasumi, trying hard to keep up. Her short legs could not carry her far as Nasumi's long ones. Shadow laughed though, she had company at last. Not watching where she was going, Shadow ended up jumping into a deep patch of snow. She was surrounded by the cold white stuff. The only thing visible above the snow was her little black nose. "OI!" She giggled at her foolishness and struggled to get out, to no avail.

Tsukiya was happy to be in the presence of so many other wolves who are so friendly, but for some reason felt as though he was intruding. The next morning, after Miazi's nightmare, he went up to her and asked, "Umm, this may seem like a wierd thing to ask, but am I a part of your pack? I currently am alone due to humans and enemy packs destroying mine."

Nasumi quietly stalked the forest, listening to Shadow prancing beside her. She heard a thump and looked back, only to see that Shadow had fallen in a hole. Nasumi walked back with a full-heated laugh. She pulled up Shadow by her scruff and placed her gently on her orange back. She then continued to walk, her bright orange fur blazing in the sunlight.

Shadow laughed as she was lifted from her snowy prison and placed on her leader’s back. “Where are we going?” She chimed, pawing playfully at Nasumi’s ears.

Cassie grinned as her eyes darkened and she licked her chops. " A big buck...mmmm sounds mouthwatering. Lets go!" She laughed and took off to the south her whole body alert to her surroundings. With a growl she stopped at a small clearing sniffing around a wallow. After a moment her head popped up and she took off again to the east this time the scent of the white tails strong in her nose. From the wallow there was a small herd led by a big buck not to far from here. Her gray body was low to the ground as she ran her ears back flat.
Deuce nodded and took off after his sister with relish. He easily kept pace with her his bigger body pushing him over the ground with ease. He watched as she picked the scent up and was off again. Out of the two Cassie was the better tracker, while he was more the muscle of the pair. He ran beside her and watched as with a subtle jerk of her head she told him where to go. It was one of the perks of being a twin. He took off to the right as she plowed forward circling a wide meadow on silent feet.
Cassie grinned and slowly stalked the short distance to the edge of the meadow. She picked the big buck out easily and crouched down to watch him as he lowered his head to feed. There was no sound as she jumped from her spot and made her way quickly over the meadow, cutting the buck off from the herd which scattered. She growled and snapped her teeth as she pushed the buck straight for her brothers waiting jaws.
Deuce grinned and as the buck passed his hiding spot he pounced landing on the deer back and throwing his weight to the side. The big buck hit the ground thrashing as Deuce spun to sink his fangs into the deers thick throat. With a savage growl he shook his head severing the deers windpipe. He grinned his maw bloody as Cassie bounded up to him and the kill. With a triumphant look he threw his head back in a long howl to inform any of the other wolves that they had made a kill and that they could share it. He smiled as he heard his sisters soprano mix with his own voice.

Nasumi paused and intently listened to a distant howl. "hold on tight Shadow" she said and then thundered up a tall tree. she raced from branch to branch, her strong muscles rippling as she leaped from branch to branch. she soon reached a large clearing with two twin wolves and a large buck. "May we join you please? We haven't eaten for days" Nasumi dropped Shadow gently on the soft ground and patiently waited for the reply.

Cassie happily buried her jaws into the buck carcass her ears laying back as she ate. She looked over the body to her brother and wagged her tail. " That was a nice jump Deuce, didn't think you'd toss'em over so easy. He's a big buck." Cassie looked up as the other two wolves entered the clearing. Her first response was to growl but she stifled the urge and wagged her tail. " Sure they're plenty here."
Deuce grinned and joined his sister to tear into the stomach of the buck. He nodded and licked his jaws. " Yeah I was hoping he'd go down or i was gonna be in trouble. But hey we got'em" Deuce did growl slightly but as he realized the wolves were female he stopped and nodded " Sure it's a big kill can't eat it all on our lonesome."

"We give you all our thanks!" Nasumi smiled. She walked over to the buck and viciously ripped off a hind leg. "Nice catch, My name's Nasumi by the way." she said as she walked over by Shadow and dropped the leg down by Shadow, and waited for her to eat her fill before she ate herself.

Miazi smiled at Tsukiya. "Yeah you're part of the pack if you want to be," she said smiling. She tilted her head at the howl. "Looks like there's food. Let's go eat!!!" she said. Then she bounded off through the woods. She soon found the others with the buck. "Nice kill. Mind if Tsukiya and I join you?" she said happily.

Cassie grinned and shook her coat out snapping lightly at her brother. " Scoot your butt fatty we gotta share." She nodded to Miazi and smiled " Sure plenty here. Grab a spot and munch down." She settled back down to the kill to eat again.
Deuce growled and grinned at his sister. He bumped her lightly and rolled his eyes scooting over " I'm not fat you brat, it's muscle." he nodded to the new comers and hunkered down by his sister to finish eating.

Tsukiya felt happy at that moment. he was with other wolves who were very friendly and they accepted him into their pack. as he ate he smiled because he was so happy. at the same time, he was concerned in the back of his mind for miazi, because he had a gut feeling that there was something more than she was telling him about her incident. but he ignored that and ate with his new friends. life was going great.

Tsukiya noticed as he was sitting around and thinking that Miazi was kind of beautiful, but he didnt say anything because he thought of her as a friend, and he didnt want to make anything awkward. he returned to his thinking, and eventually fell asleep.
