 AnbuThe guards remained tense, waiting for the man to make a move. They were there to defend against threats, not attack. They would not be the ones to make the first move unless the man tried to slip past them. "You have two options." The lead ANBU growled, becoming irritated, but not even twitching from his stance. "Leave, or die." He wasn't going to take the nonsense of this man believing he could take them all on at once, no matter how powerful he believed himself to be. On the other side of the gates, a young chuunin messenger saw what was going on, and took off for the tower at full speed to report that there was a suspicious person at the gates.

{Considering when you first showed up, your RPC had no idea who was the kage now, I think you need to change that. A lot. There's no real way your PC could know that she's in the town at all.}

{ ... Close enough... } Anbu"Do you really think we'd bring the kazekage out to see you?" The ANBU scoffed, finally having had enough of this fool. A twitch of his finger, and the two ANBU behind him were suddenly inches away from Cody. One went in high, aiming for his neck, and the other low, aiming for his stomach. Upon impact their finely honed blades would slice the man into three pieces. There was no mercy available here for those who would not take it the first, or even the second time. And they would not be fooled by a man who first tried to force his way through, then claimed diplomatic reasons.

He then noticed the one down low. He knew the way of half the ANBU one would distract him and the other would attack. he smiled as he grabbed one of his twin hooks and swung it down to disarm the ANBU below him the hook part hit the sword and Cody twisted the hook to case the ANBu's arm to twist or the sword to come lose. The ANBU above him was about to hit him as he jumped back hardly getting missed. "Nice one did not really see that coming." He pulled out the other hook and got ready. "So you can't the the Kazekage here?" he was beginning to think they train the ANBU harder. he knew he would have to try harder to get the fight over with so he could talk to the Kazekage. { For my enlightenment, more detail on exactly how you're disarming the guy down low? The answer could make a 95% difference in my next post. It'd also be nice if the stuff your character is thinking would be easier to understand, but the actions are far more important. }

AnbuThe ANBU that Cody tried to disarm twisted free of the move easily, but ceased his charge, along with the other, standing down into a defensive position. "You have good reflexes." The lead ANBU stated. "But can you dodge what you can't see?" As he finished that sentence, the gate guards who had been behind Cody all along finished taking their new position, directly behind him, and thrust their blades directly at his back, aimed for his heart and lungs. A simple move, but easily fatal.

He smiled as he swung the chain down at the attacking ANBU. Once it hit he brought it back up as he landed behind the group of ANBU still facing them. "Again you are fighting someone who fought the second most powerful demons" he said as he looked around thinking they are better then when I was in the ANBU or the village. Chakra Points- 156/156

{ Sorry, hadn't noticed you posted. Could you clarify exactly who you're attacking there? There are three ANBU, and two gate guards. It's the guards that are attacking. Little clarification on which people you're landing behind would be nice too. Is it the ones who attacked, or the leader, who is blocking the gate? }

AnbuWhen Cody jumped, the guards had plenty of time to bring up their swords and block the chain end that he lashed at them. It was almost pitiful really. When he landed, they, along with the two ANBU, spread out once more. The enemy had a chained weapon now, so it would be foolish to be caught together. "But it'd be boring to end you that easily." The ANBU leader remarked, having long since lowered his blade to his side. He could bring it up again easily if needed. "You shouldn't underestimate others simply because of where you have been before. You fought the Hachibi, so did we. We also fought Cloverfield, and have repelled countless attacks on our land. We have taken missions in which we have fought, and killed, enemies of all different strengths. Not a single one of us has less right to claim power than you. You who abandoned your home, while we protected it." The man spat, walking slowly forward, until he stopped several feet from the man, sword raised and pointed at his neck. "You tell me, which of us should be afraid?"

"I think you should just give up and let me talk to the Kazekage. Please and thank you" he asked nicely as he stepped father back from them so he would not be hit by the tip of the sword.
