Snowing Rainbows killer_klaw Snowing Rainbows killer_klaw Snowing Rainbows She laughed slightly. "A gun? That's kind of harsh, don't you think?" Her voice became sympathetic, kind if I dare say. Removing strands of chestnut hair from her chalky-smooth white face, her deep teal eyes became more clear in sight. Their largeness in size made an impression. 'Protect me, for i am week and frail. I need someone strong to protect me.' Was the image that came from them. Of course, that is the opposite of what her emotions played. *his smile widened a little, the amusement more prominent in his eyes* they don't have much of a chance trying to kill me any other way *he almost chuckled, but the sound caught in his throat as he realized what happened, all traced of amusement left his features, he looked at his hands turning them over as if her were searching for something on his skin, as if he were making sure that he was himself, and not someone else* I smiled...I...*he stopped, unsure what to say* Looking up at him, Chloe pondered at his statement, then smiled, as if she were a Mother and he a Child. "It's easier, huh? to smile instead of frown?"
Just as she spoke, her own Mother's call came from downstairs. "If you two arn't doing anything, the Pie is ready." Their was a tone of amusement in her voice, as if she were chuckling as she spoke.
"Mother!" Chloe shouted, flabbergasted that her own Mother would indicate such a thing. Her cheeks burned slightly with a sharp crimson color. I...yeah...I guess *he replied to her as her mother called, though he did not understand what she implied* why is your face red? Are you feeling alright? *he said, completely serious in his statement, Sabin placed his hand on her forehead, checking for a fever* [ Do you really not know o .o? Or are you just playing? ]
As soon as his hand touched her forehead's bare skin, she jumped, not expecting him to actually touch her after what her mother had implied. "I-I'm fine." She semi-squeaked. Shifting to move down the ladder, Chloe looked up at Sabin. "T-The pie is done...we should go eat." Moving down the ladder hastily, Chloe practicably ran to the table. [lol, just playing] What was that about? *he wanted to ask but she had already gone, he shrugged and followed her down to the table, intending to ask later when he had a chance*

Chloe sat quietly, in her mahogany chair.
Her mother, smiling quietly to herself, had begun to cut the pie accordingly, One for Chloe, One for Sabin, and Two for the neighbors. She would ask Chloe later to go and bring it to them. "Chloe, dear, could you get the plates please? The one's with gold on the end if you will."
Looking at her Mother as if she had gone a bit mad, she did as she was instructed, and walked slowly over to a dark cabinet, it's doors squeaking as she opened it. Pulling out three beautifully crafted leaf plates, Chloe carefully held them against her non-existing chest, as she closed the door gently with her free hand. Walking over to her Mother's side, she set the plates down gently on the white counter, returning to her own mahogany chair.
Smiling, her Mother began to place the pieces of Pie onto the plates, making sure that they were placed carefully onto them. After she was done with that little task, she walked over to the fridge, pulled out a glass container, and a spoon. Whipping the mixture in their lightly, she spooned two spoonfuls of the white, fluffy substance. Then, she set the container down, and placed the plates in front of Chloe, and Sabin. She saved two whole pieces in another container, and marked it 'Your Welcome'.

"We forgot the forks." She stood up, and quietly walked over to the drying bored, picking up two forks, handing one to Sabin as she passed him to get to her own plate. Settling down into her chair, she dug into her Pie, the rich taste of berry's and cheesecake melting in her mouth. She savored the taste until she swallowed. "It's really delicious Mother." She smiled happily as she took another bite.

Seeing how quickly he ate made her think horribly of his Father, and silently she wished the Heavens Wrath upon him. Standing up, Chloe dusted herself off, and sneezed a bit, from the invisible dust.

Snowing Rainbows killer_klaw Snowing Rainbows killer_klaw Snowing Rainbows "Oh, no dear, I can handle a few dishes." Her Mother smiled softly, removing the dishes form his hands. "These are my special dishes." She paused slightly. "Chloe loves these plates almost as much as her passion for Nature." Her smiled began to fade slightly. "She's such a hard-working girl, and yet she has so little. If only the good Lord would lend us a helping hand." She placed a single frail hand upon her face, covering her lips and chin. "Please..." Her voice weak. "Do help protect my Little Angel." Her own charcoal brown eyes glanced in his direction. *he stared for a second, unsure if he had heard her right, when her expression didn't change, he nodded* I will do what I can *he vowed, then he began heading upstairs, calling over his shoulder* thank you for the pie, it was delicious "Your quite welcome." She smiled again, her voice semi-fading as he headed up the ladder.
Meanwhile, up in the attic, Chloe was blowing into an air mattress for Sabin, her cheeks red. Blowing, blowing into the mattress seemed to be doing absolutely nothing. Sighing, she set the piece down, and stared at the limp thing. "If only we owned a pump..." She said to herself. *Sabin walked into the room* need any help? *he asked her* Turning to face Sabin, she was almost a bit shocked at how quickly he had eaten her piece of pie. "Erm...Not really...I think I can borrow a pump from the Neighbors if i asked nicely enough." She smiled wryly. "You can go back down stairs and eat more, if you want." Seeing how quickly he ate made her think horribly of his Father, and silently she wished the Heavens Wrath upon him. Standing up, Chloe dusted herself off, and sneezed a bit, from the invisible dust. don't worry about it *he said holding up a hand* I'm used to eating very little, and tonight I'm taking Steel to graze in a pasture I passed not far from the town, I'll probably sleep in the field and give him time to eat and run around, it's the least I can do for him, you are welcome to come if you want *he said, trying his best to smile*
