((I'm sick of waiting for a reply from the Vamp, so I'm doing my own thing. I might find the "boulder", depending on if there is such a thing and the headmistress permits me to. razz ))

Since she didn't respond to him, looking at him without comprehension of what he was saying, evidently, he turned and walked away, deciding that finding his own way was more important. Finding random stairs leading down, he followed them, sometimes veering off to try finding another set.
After some time, he came across one just like the others, the only difference being the wiring for the lights being attached to the ceiling, the light fixtures no longer gaining power from above the ceiling. He followed it down as it twisted, leading down past short, simple hallways, most looking disused. Suddenly, the hallway ended, a door blocking the way; one almost completely black except for a blood red hand, rays blossoming from behind in relief carving. A Human skull missing the lower jaw dominated the top of the door. Upon approach, something seemed to shiver in the air like mist swirling from movement. A voice spoke. "Whom approaches the black door?"

Uriyu Rolled out of the portal crouched low to the ground ready to react to whatever happened. His dark blue skin allowing him to blend into the dark alley easily. He listened for any possible threats before seeming to relax the slightest bit one hand still at the hilt of his dagger.

Kyu's paw moved off of the window's glass as it waved open slowly in front of her. She leaped into the office and transformed back into her human form. "I thank you for letting me be here, Madam." Kyu said politely, and bowed deeply. "I am only slightly out of breath, but I will gladly take a seat." Kyu smiled and sat at one of the chairs in front of Perivia's desk. She fiddled her fingers to loosen them up, giving a small massage to her calves as well. Kyu used her hand to grab the air. A few moments later, a ball of water from in the room came about at her fist. "Excuse me, let me take a drink." Kyu took small sips from the tennis sized water ball, then took a big gulp, leaving only droplets to fall onto the ground.

Kyu straightened her back and looked at Perivia into the eyes. "Now. About the teacher position, Madam?" Kyu said calmly. "I hope the students don't mind having a girl about their age teaching them." She chuckled. In fact, Kyu felt that a few students at Unwelcome Boulder could surpass her but Kyu had been trained by a few Unwelcome alumni herself! Kyu possibly had the higher capability in terms of being a leader along with skill.
"And I believe it's the firearms class I'll be teaching, correct?" She questioned the headmistress, Kyu's eyes still locked on her. Kyu was very comfortable to an environment filled with guns of all sorts. Firearms would definitely be the easiest class for her to teach, although being put in something else would be fine as well. She smiled lightly as she awaited for Perivia to respond.

Guiseppi smirked only briefly to himself before wiping his face and standing so he could see everyone. "This won't be hard if you listen to what I say," he declared, crossing his arms and leaning slightly to one side in a very 'smarter-than-thou' way. He waited a few moments, glancing discreetly down the alleyway before toning down his demeanor to a rather inconspicuous one: he leaned against a wall and tilted his head to one side, arms hanging limply. He looked no different (outside of his clothing) from the rest of the people, immediately making him unimportant to anyone around.

"Make yourselves unimportant." His words were somewhat slurred, making his speech intelligible but not attention-grabbing to people outside their group. Still, he hoped they'd understand this simple command: either they needed to become invisible figuratively or literally.

Lifting a hand to wave in a slightly wasted manner, he began to speak with the same mannerisms. "We're lookin' fer a drug cart'l, so... best to see'm 's fer business, yeah?" He didn't like demeaning himself to this despicable type of human, but it was better to pretend and be low than to be caught in these circumstances. "Now... Me, I can't get in th're. Butchoo..." He pointed at the others. "Sh'dowpaw, y'can be th'leader here. Garbhan, you're herright'and man. Uriyu, you'n'me're gonna hide out'n work b'hind th'scenes, 'kay?"

((I'll pause here for responses: also, if you cannot understand the way I even wrote in his current vocalizations, ask me and I can PM you the translation. I suggest sounding it out loud first.))

Uriyu thought about it for a moment, he was a tall blue skinned pointy eared figure with a bow quiver and sword, unimportant would be very... difficult for him to accomplish. However he could tell by the directions the sounds were coming they were in an alley. He could easily scale the walls to the rooftops and wait there. Which went along perfectly with what Guissepe was saying. "Very well, im not very good at blending in with a human crowd, so staying in the shadows is probably for the better unless its Halloween. Might I suggest the rooftops?" he said from his hiding place among the shadows.

Shadowpaw glanced down the alley then down at the robe she wore, with a smirk she pulled the hood up over her head and pulled the sleeves down to cover her hands. Placing her hands into the opposite sleeve she hunched over, making herself look like a Monk. She quietly nodded, and spoke softly, "I suggest we find a base of operations and some new clothing for me, so I can blend in without looking like a part of the church. The elf is going to need someone to guide him to where ever we're going seeing how he won't be able to blend into the crowd out there and the alleyways might take to long. So far the only ones that can blend in without causing to much of a stir are Guiseppi and Garbhan."

She didn't say anything about the Wererats just yet she first needed to see who all where in the area when it came to werewolf packs. If the Bonegnawers where somewhere in the city she could trade some "Stuff" with them easily, but she needed to find them first. She might be able to get some info from them, but she didn't need to tell the rest of the group. Not yet, any way.

He smirked, finding the notion of a door speaking amusing, wondering what kind of magic was needed to do such a thing. Or it was a simple computer doing it all.
Either way, he answered; "Asmusei. I am known by no other name. What of you, just the Black Door?"
"By what other name would I be called?" it said in an amused tone.
"My apologies, I had assumed you to be a magical artifice. I guess not. What do you bar the way to?"
"The way is fraught with danger, one that I stand steadfast to keep little ones like you from entering." This time, it didn't sound so well amused. Still, he thought to ask more.
"Then what must I do to gain your admittance to go beyond?"
"Gain skill physically. You have not done well enough, though you are clever enough to ask the correct questions. You only asked three, the last person took over forty!" Asmusei guessed it would have laughed at this if a door was capable of laughing. A talking door was still a close second, though. He nodded and wished it farewell awkwardly and started his way back up.

Garbhan looked around for a moment before standing up as straight as he could, and crossing his long, massive arms across his chest. His eyes dimmed, losing the intelligent look that had been there previously. Instead, they took on a simpleminded, obedient glaze. His face lost all signs of joy, or anything aside from determination, for that matter. This was what first came to mind. When he spoke, he had a country slur to his words, thick as molasses, and he pronounced each syllable slowly, as if he didn't have much of an intellect. Words with 2 syllable were spread out even more so."If'n we go to the Cartel, Sha-Dow-Paw'll be needin' a guard. I'mur'n capable 'f doin' so, if need bee."

After his fiasco of words, he regained his intellect in the eyes, but the rest of his body looked stupid as a rock. "If this isn't exactly what you had in mind, I could be an exotic dog of some sort. Make Shadowpaw seem like a big spender with a big guard, or a... lap-dog," he said calmly but had to, literally, pause and force the last few words out. Garbhan was okay with this either way, really, and somewhat preferred the second option. Being in his Wolf form would be much more relaxing than a large, brain-dead human.

Shadowpaw smiled and gently stroked the side of his arm with her long tapered fingers. A sign of comfort or love for wolves, who where very touchy feely. "Be at peace, my Friend." She quietly murmured in the Wolf equivalent of human.

"How about we find a hotel or an abandoned warehouse so we don't look so weird standing in the alley way. I say we head out. I'll take Uriyu to the roofs and we'll follow the two of you." She said looking to Garbhan and Guiseppi.

Guiseppi waved a hand drunkenly, laughing a little and inserting a well-placed hiccup. "What'ver..." That was all he said, but in his hand, the one that he'd waved so drunkenly at Shadowpaw, was a piece of paper. He'd been planning ahead, apparently, with a little address marked upon it. He hoped she memorized things easily, though, because it would disintegrate in... a minute, approximately. A simple precaution.

Then he motioned Garbhan closer, intending to make it look like he was a drunk who was being guided home by a friend, though really he would be doing all the guiding.

Uriyu Nodded from within the shadows, "I am not so helpless as I appear, never forget that. An Elves ears are as strong as his eyes." he said simply. "However... pride aside your help is very welcome." he said with a smile.

As everyone began to figure out their roles he placed one hand against the wall behind him. Once he felt the cool stone beneath he knew it would be no trouble to scale. The building was old and the lines of the brick were deeply cut in by weathering. "Meet me on the roof once your ready." he said turning and quickly scaling the wall to the roof, using his dagger anywhere he couldnt find a hand hold.

Perivia patiently waited for Kyu to take her drink. As soon as she was done and she had asked her questions Perivia looked up from her papers, showing Kyu that she was in fact blind. The dark bandages covering her eyes were testament to that fact alone. If not for her smile at the moment Perivia would look quite intimidating. Not that she couldn't, mind you. She simply chose not to at this moment. Kyu was a colleague, and she gained nothing by intimidating her at this point.

"Oh, I wouldn't worry about the students. I've read your record. I believe you'll be just fine teaching the firearms class." Perivia smiled at Kyu disarmingly, almost charmingly as she spoke again, her voice carrying an almost light peal like that of bells at a funeral. "Besides, if the students decide to give you trouble, you have every right to use them as target practice. So long as none of them are unnecessarily harmed of course."

((Alright guys, I just realized that I've thrown you all into a situation where you really have little idea on how it's going to work. Essentially I am going to act like a DM in Dungeons and Dragons. I will be playing the bad guys. It's up to you guys to work through the mission of your own accord, giving me cues if you wish on how the environment will act or how it should react to things you do. However, just remember that auto-hit and auto-dodge are not going to exactly fly here. Each of your characters, with the exception of Guiseppi, are brand new to the school, and fairly new to their own abilities. They're not going to be perfect, and later on, depending on what you guys do, you have the potential to be hopelessly outnumbered. Just take it like a game of D&D lite. Put out some actions, and I'll give some appropriate reactions and challenges. But trust me, I plan on having you guys pass this mission, so I'm going to make it more than fair. How well you pass the mission though is up to you guys.

Have fun!))

Garbhan nodded once to Guiseppi, before leaning his head down to nuzzle Shadowpaw's gently; a large sign of affection. He also wished her good luck and safe travels with a small bark. They weren't leaving each other for long at all, really, but that wasn't the point of the gesture.

Walking to Guiseppi, he slung one of the mans arms over his shoulder, and the other around his back. He half carried, half stabilized Guiseppi until they were at the end of the alleyway. Now waiting for orders, Garbhan held the man up--who was surprisingly heavy for his size--and got a good look around at the people. Guiseppi did, in fact, blend in with most everyone in the area. Not a bad disguise for either of them, as he spotted at least 2 other men helping buddies home. Or to another bar.
