Kutai sighed and then laid down, crossing his paws and setting his head on said paws. "I wish I knew what to do...really I do..."

With out saying much of anything else Fuega rose and stalked off into the woods surrounding the path. Head held low she had come to the conclusion, she was not going to the shop. Even if he wanted her to. Inside she felt no one there would able to help. Not a soul. She had never depended on anyone for help, save Kutai. And now he was the reason she was in this situation. So she would take care of herself as she always had in the past. It worked for her then. Why not now?

Kutai had closed his eyes for only a moment, trying to ponder a solution to all this. When he opened his eyes to look at Fuega, she was gone.
Immediately, he stood up and looked around frantically, trying to find some way of finding Fuega, but he could find nothing. "Fuega! Where are you?!"

Ears folding back she ignored his calls. Weaving between the trees Fuega set out to find a place she could sit and think. Somewhere she could clear her mind and work out what to do with.

Kutai leaped through some bushes when he thought he saw a glimpse of Fuega, only to find it was nothing. He was frantically looking for her now, trying to see if he could find anything that indicated she was around. "Fuega!!
He stopped for a moment, tears streaming from his eyes.
"FUEGA!!!!"

Another wave of sickness washed over her, "How did I allow myself to get this way..." Fuega growled to herself as she shuffled over to a near by stream. Peering down into the waters clear surface she looked at herself. To her own green eyes she physically looked the same, but she knew she had changed. The red nine tailed fox still being alive after all he had done was proof. A terrible taste bubbling up in the back of her mouth chased her train of thought away and forced Fuega to take a long drink from the water. What will I do? she pondered as she drank, I carry in me life. And I have no clue how to bring it into this world. Let alone care for it.....them.....

Kutai had collapsed from his strength being drained from him. The knowledge that Fuega was gone and he couldn't find her just put him into a fit of depression. Had she gone back to hating him as before? or was she simply trying to do this alone? "Gods...what have I done?"

Laying down on her side Fuega half whimpered as she gazed at her abdomen. Difficult. This whole situation was difficult. A ear perked at the sound of Kutai's voice. It was tinged with something she knew all to well. She had heard it several times but never to call out for her name. Had she come to mean that much to him? Or was it because she was carrying his young inside her. To her it didn't matter, nor did she care. What was more on her mind was this sickening feeling that churned in her belly. The feeling derived from hearing him in such a panic. "Kutai..." she caught herself whispering under her breath. In a fluid motion she rose up and threw her head back, "KUTAI!!"

Kutai's ears perked up and he heard Fuega's voice. With renewed strength, he sprinted as hard as he could towards her, where the serenity came from. Leaping through bushes and over roots, under boughs of leaves and over holes in the ground, he got to the stream and stopped when he saw Fuega, panting heavily. The sun had hit the stream just right, casting light over towards her and illuminating her just perfectly. "Fuega..." he whispered between breaths.

Lowering her head she laid herself back down and drew in a deep breath. Curling up she wrapped her tail around herself, "Kutai....." She couldn't leave him even if she tried.

Kutai took a few steps towards Fuega and nuzzled her gently. "Gods Fue...you scared me..." he said, tears still streaming down his cheeks freely.

Kutai sighed a bit and then laid down in front of Fuega, staring into her eyes. "Remember how it felt when you thought I had run off and disappeared on you months ago? It's the same thing - worry about losing one you care for."

Staring back into his eyes. "Sorry. I just ..... needed to clear my head." Breathing deeply Fuega shifted a bit from where she laid, uncomfortable.
