The creature groomed itself and then crawled towards Nym. It rubbed its head against Nym's leg in adorement. "I think it has rabies."

nym rolled her eyes and then looked at the animal "seems fine to me. If it had rabies it would not look so clean." nym said taking note of the animals nicely groomed fur. nym bent down and pet the animal. "Aw, it's soft like a kiity!" nym said out of happiness.

"Let me pet him!" Cloud attempted to pet the animal,but it bit him. "OUCH!" With that,the creature stretched out his little arms and electricity came out of it's cheeks. They went outward in a big bolt and electrocuted Cloud. "Ow..." Cloud fell to the ground all burnt up.

nym jumped back in surprise "it. . .has powers?" nym blinked looking at the creature who looked back at her smiling. "Um hi little guy." nym said looking at the thing a little freaked now.

The creature looked happy and went towards Nym. Cloud,still on the ground sat up.

nym was really freaked from seeing what it did to Cloud. maybe if I don't move it won't come over. nym thought. Then nym got an idea "Cloud throw the ball at it maybe it will go back in!"

Cloud threw the ball at the creature,but it only hit it's head. The creature electrocuted Cloud again. "Thanks! That was a great idea!" The creature turned back and went to Nym. Its started saying 'Pika' over and over again. It raised it's hands up,looking like it wanted to be held.

nym looked down at the thing. it seemed cute but it was a little weird. "Only if you don't hurt Cloud anymore." nym said to the creature then picked it up and pet it. "So what are we going to do with this thing Cloud?"

"I dunno. You can keep him. I don't think I want him." Cloud fiddled with the ball again. "It seems like some sort of magic capsule that hold's monsters. When it shrinks,you can fit in your pocket. I think I'll call these creatures Pocket Monsters! Or Pokemon for short."

nym laughed. "Ok if that is what you want." nym said then looked at the little 'pokemon' "Well I guess your sticking with us!" nym said and it responded with a cheerful sounding "pika" so nym figured that was something good. "So where to now?"

"I guess we go on this road." Cloud started to walk,Nym beside him. Out of nowhere,an upbeat tune played out of nowhere. "Ok! What was that?" In front of them was an insect-like pokemon. "What is that?!?" The insect was looking like it was prepared to attack.

"what the? music odd world huh?" nym saw the bug "AH! That's a big bug!" nym said freaked out the bug came at them and lightning came from the little yellow Pokemon's face hitting the bug "Yay and weird." they kept walking and the song kept on playing.

After defeating the bug,some happy music started playing and then some random noise. "Seriously? What the heck? That's just random. These pokemon battle it out when another one pops out of nowhere in the middle of the road. This is nonsense!" Cloud continued walking until they were in front of the town. He saw people standing there,waiting for nothing. As soon as Nym and Cloud walked into sight,a guy in strange clothing walked up to them. "You'll never defeat me!" he said. The music came back on and Cloud facepalmed himself.

nym sighed "not again." the yellow thing bounced out of nym's arms and the guy threw a ball just like the one cloud found. A little blue turtle with an orange shell standing on two legs came out "squirt!" it said the guy moved first "Squirtle use bubble beam!' he said nym rolled her eyes as she watched it "weird." the little yellow thing looked like it was waiting for instructions "use that lightning you do." nym said and the pokemon did as told.

The turtle thing was defeated. "IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!" Cloud yelled out of nowhere. "What?" The guy or 'trainer' squeezed his ball thing and a red ray retrieved the turtle. "Ohhhh. Thats how you do it."
"Argh! I've been defeated. Oh well. Here,take this!" The trainer handed Nym some of the currency of the world and ran off. The happy music started to play again. Another facepalm.
