However, he knew he served another, the source of his power. He was the puppet of another. He was unsure of whether or not he should announce her name, but decided against it. People in those positions often liked to remain hidden until the time was right.

A young girl trailed up the path out of sight, pale skin and hair as if she were a ghost.. a burnt stick of wood in one delicate hand. Tears of indignant anger slid over her pale cheeks, lifting a gloved hand to wipe them away. only the shocking green of her eyes and her odd clothing gave her dull form any color.. otherwise most would mistake her for a statue of marble. her tears increased as her shoulders hitched with a quiet sob, rubing her eyes as she said angerly. " Bad, bad, bad.. Made Kitty kill them, now she has no home. Why so mean to poor Kitty..?" She didnt know why she walked this way.. but it felt the right way to go. something was.. pulling her. something dark and soothing, whispering promises of games and destruction. Reaching the gate she looked up at the mansion, tilting her head as she asked the building curiously.. seeming to expect it to answer. " Why do you call Kitty, Big House? Are you going to tell her No too?"

Cassus called out to her, the gates opened and the undead seemed to invite her inside with grim smiles.
"Come my child, a new family awaits you, one that will take care of you."Cassus' voice echoed sweetly throughout the mansion and the area outside. Cassus would have her soul if she entered the mansion. Her life force was static, furious. When a person was as such, they were perfect prey for him.

The lure was too charming to resist. Kitty had always been a simple child, dangerus.. yes.. but easily manipulated with items or gentle words.. with hesitant steps she fallowed the voice, her gaze turning to the side as she droped the charcoaled plank of wood. a new family? so.. it was alright she punished the last one? soothed at the idea she stepped through the main door, looking around with wonder. she liked this place.. the walls hummed to her, encouraging her to continue deeper as she said sadly. " Kitty broke her family, they told her No and she doesnt like that world."

She was his, he could feel his grasp of her soul tightening. Even if she hadn't realized it, she would be tied to him from now on. Cassus stood from his throne and greeted her with a smile. He was rather handsome but it was obvious there was evil behind his normal appearance.
"I promise you, yes will be the word you shall hear. However, yes is the only word I will ever hear from you, is this understood." Like pulling tightly on a leash he established his control with his last statement.

There was a moment she felt her heart stutter, something sliding around her and latching on.. yet when she looked nothing held her. the sensation was dulled, but it never went away.. and oddly enough, she found herself nodding obediantly to his words. In the space of a heart beat her thinking had changed.. it was no longer what she wanted, but what He wanted. Oh, her wants and personality were still there.. but so was the driving need to obey, something she had never had before. puzzled by this she tilted her head, asking curiously. " He does something to Kitty?"

"Do not worry my child. Kitty is wonderful, nay, more then wonderful, fantastic. Kitty may do as she desires, kill whom she wants to kill so long as she brings daddy souls. Daddy can't make Kitty fantastic without souls, and without souls daddy is sad. Kitty doesn't want daddy to be said does she?"Like a spider he spun, enfolding her into his web of darkness. He had an almost seductive quality, one that made him impossible to refuse. He put an amulet around her neck and smiled.
"How pretty you look wearing my first gift to you. Keep it always, it allows me to keep you safe."

With a delighted squeak she studied the amulet, tilting it this way and that as she asked determindly. " Where does Kitty start?" she didnt want him sad, he gave her a pretty necklace and was letting her play. tilting her head she tapped her chin.. snaping her fingers as she gave a excited jig. " Oh! She knows, she knows! The teen hang out. She gets lots of young souls for You." Haveing a direction she was off, skipping out of the building and away.. death in a pretty package.

Serenity walked the path to the old mansion with confidence. She knew not of fear, it was that which created her. She was like shell, she needed sustinence.... dreams.... dreams to feed her.

Stefan wondered through the place, it being where he was staying for a little while, having left his mother to dwell on her past, not wanting to get into that. He would be around if she needed him, not a big deal to him. This place was beautiful to him, and had gotten permission to stay for a while, until he found a real place of his own.

Valor nodded and went straight to buisness. "I need to fake my death, and the death of my fiance, to ensure our life is uninterupted.... and I hear you could be the one to help." he said softly, but confidently. His eyes were deaperate, he couldn't do it alone.
