Edward had been sitting at his desk going over the paperwork that never seemed to ever end. It had been almost a week since his sister had gone missing, after he swore to help her, and now he was looking for any lead that might lead him to her.

The messenger, flashing his Latverious badge, ran into the halls, knocking at Edwards office.

The messenger stepped in and bowed. "A message on behalf of the Latverious Clan, sir."

Edward stood. "Whats the message?" He asked, slightly taken aback. the Latverious clan and the Grey clan were on friendly terms, but it was rare for a messenger to show up out of the blue.

He pulled out the small envelope, and removed the magic seal on it, handing it to Edward. "Here, sir."

Edward took the letter and read it quickly. "Let them know I will be there as soon as I finish up here." he told the messenger.

Edward almost smiled. "No thank you, I shall be fine by myself. Also tell your master that I am most grateful for him taking in my kin." Edward reached for a couple documents and folded them up. "You may go now."

About twenty minutes later Edward finished what he was working on and donned his swords, before heading out to Castle Latverious.

Phantom appeared in a bright flash in the middle of the building and fell to the floor, a great cry leaving her lips as she sobbed. Everything was broken inside her. Her family had betrayed her, taken everything away from her. She had no one left.
Dana was with her father again and so was her grand daughter. Kara was off being happy with Gregory and a new baby on the way. Stefan, her grandson, was off trying to find someone to be happy with and she hadn't seen him in years. Cole was trying to find someone to be happy with as well, that being hard because he was gay. Ana and Brannon didn't even consider her as family so she had no one. And then her brother, the one she always relied on was gone. All her friends have forgotten about her, or have disappeared, or have even been too busy to check in to see if she was even okay.
She sobbed in the middle of the place that she always thought was home, where she could always find a memory to become happy. But not this time. This time she was alone in a building that has been dead for years. But this was her home, and now she refused to leave it.

A dark figure rested in the shadows, elbow on knee as he leaned back against the wall. He knew those sobs.. truth be told he held them to him even now.. but why would she have them? she was one of them, wasnt she? one of the loved ones.. listening to the woman the boy slowly stood.. shaking his head as shame slaped through him. no.. she was one of his kind now.. and he couldnt seem to find any joy in that fact. no one deserved to be what he was.. alone.
a whisper of sound and Erik was kneeling next to her, a tattered cloth in his hand as he dried her tears gently. there was no snarky tone in his voice as he whispered, all the harsh attitude drained out of him as he attempted to sooth her sobs. " tears dont help.. just breath for a sec, it'll be a little better." from the last time they had met, he had gained a new beating.. his lip torn and bandages across his chest and arms.. but he seemed used to such things.. not hesitating to drop his torn shirt over Phantoms shoulders as he waited patiently for her to calm.

Phantom looked up at Erik and grabbed onto him tightly as she sobbed, trying really hard to breathe but her tears cut into her breaths. "They won't stop. I can't get them to stop." Her body completely shook and she couldn't even stand when she tried. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be here." She looked at the door that lead the way out and wanted to go out. "I shouldn't be here."

Quiet and calm he couldnt help stiffening slightly in her hold, dislike of being touched making it habit to try and wiggle free. resisting this he didnt argue, asking curtly. " Where do you belong then..?" helping her stand he stood under her shoulder, his age showing in how he hardly reached her neck in hieght. all the same he waited for her to tell him, making a silent promise to help her get where she wanted to go.
