Leo notice she had a tail that one of his eyebrow raised
"what are you?"
Leo asked curious to know why she had a tail,
"and tell me how much you know"

Katie giggled slightly, "My my, you are almost as curious as I can be." She paused for a moment, quite amused. "Someone like me has to have her own secrets, that can not be revealed so simply. I will only tell you that I am not quite human.." She then added rather quietly to the point that it would be just below a whisper, so that he would not be able to catch exactly what she had said, "I am also not quite cat. But I am both.."

Leo look at her and tilted his head,
"well that understandable, I won't force you to tell me"
Leo replied placing the chemicals away,
"as long you don't try to eat me"
Leo added, then heard a whisper,
"did you say something?"
Leo thought he heard the word 'cat'

Colin stood there watching Leo and Katie talk. He didn't like working with a human, they couldn't be trusted. "What are you talking about, she didn't say anything." Colin interrupted as Leo asked his question. Colin gave Katie a hard stare, how could she just be letting out all of the information she held. They might as well tell him that they are dangerous and have him turn them in.

Katie quirked an eyebrow at Colin, he seemed very distrustful of this guy, no... there seemed to be more to it, he acted this way towards the other halfbreed guy.. She decided to get to the bottom of it, as she was quite curious----just as curious as a cat... "You seem very distrustful of even your own kind....Why is that..?" When she said 'own kind' she meant halfbreeds in general.

Colin took his gaze away from Katie and directed it towards the ground. "I'm not distrustful of EVERYBODY... just everyone who doesn't deserve to be trusted. Those who have not gained my trust aren't allowed to have it." Colin explained simply. Shifting the weight on his feet, he looked at her, awaiting to see what she would say next.

Katie smirked slightly, "There are some circumstances that trust is needed first. Plus, isn't a bit more interesting this way..?" Her easily mused self showed slightly at this. "Mother taught me that there are many ways to catch a mouse, not just one.." She winked as she spoke the analogy.

Leo sighed on Colin's distrust on him, he didn't let that bother him, if Colin isn't comfortable here then he can just leave if he wishes to. Leo is a busy man and doesn't have time for any distraction so he continue on with his project

"I might have to steal that analogy, it's quite interesting." Colin complimented as he uncrossed his arms to lay them down at his sides. "Speaking of mice..." Colin said to Katie as he then turned to face Leo. "Hey, Doc, what are you doing anyways?" he asked.

"ignoring you" Leo answered simple and clean then continue on with his researches trying to do what he needed to do without any distraction

Finding a chair in a corner of the room, Katie sat down watching the two. The look on her face showed she was slightly amused.
Weather Alert!:
The weather outside was turning more and more into a blizzard. Visibility for even non humans is very limited due to white out conditions. It is also becoming much colder-- 15 below--any non humans sensitive to cold will be easily affected. Humans can easily get frostbite if they stay out too long..

Colin's eye twitched slightly in anger when he heard Leo speak. "What did you just say?" Colin asked, his lion's rage starting to show. No one could disrespect him, he was the head, the alpha, and he wasn't going to let a HUMAN be rude to him. "If I were you, I would pick very careful words. If you anger me, you're angering a lion."

from a building across the way from the one the others were staying in i watched through the window. with the blizzard, even my falcon sight was limited and i crouched like a gargoyle on the buildin with my wings wrapped around me

Emily rushed in the snow. It was getting very cold and she had no desire to freeze. Her stolen winter coat was starting to get very wet inside. She shivered, surveying her surroundings. She spotted a house with its lights on. Running to the house she felt like something was watching her, not like that was new or anything. "If I'm going to survive, I need to knock on that door!", she thought. She walked up and began knocking....
