With a click Quin took his gun off safty, his voice harsh as he stepped into the back room. " Let them go, now." he sent Yuri a side long glance, his tone imidatly softening as he asked. " Your alright..?" Ironicly, he wasnt worried about Riley.. he couldnt kill the woman when he wanted to, so it stood to reason that no one else could.

Dana brought up her own gun and stood next to Quin steadily. "Thief, when we get out of this remind me to buy you a drink. Just one though." She aimed the run straight for the woman's head and glared at her the whole time.

" Of course." Cheerfully she pointed at the chains, the metal rusting away and letting Riley go. Seeming very satisfied she claped her hands, smileing as she looked at Quin. " I was so worried, you see. He is prefectly healed now, i cant wait for you to meet him." Turning to the side she called softly. " Erik, come see! this is the one i told you about."
Yuri rushed to them, hiding behind Dana's legs as Riley stood infront of Quin.. her fur bristled and her teeth bared. " I-Im ok.. she just pinched my magic a bit."

He flicked her a glance, then looked Yuri over firmly. it had been just a pinch, he could see her aura repairing itself already.. but it didnt cool his temper, anyone hurting Yuri was on his black list. in a frosted tone he growled. " This is not a tea party, lady. I dont want to meet this Erik pers--" The rest was lost, Quin freezing as his gaze fell on the boy that came through the door.
The boy was around 15-16, his silver hair falling into his gold eyes and his clothing the punk/goth style that was 'in' right now. Standing next to Zoey Erik kept his gaze to the side, appearing bord as he asked in irritation. " What's so grand, Zo? Looks like a normal thief to me."

Dana turned around and quickly picked Yuri up, holding her close, still able to keep her gun in one hand. "My little Yuri." She smiled and then looked over at Erik. "Looks like any other boy. Come Quin, we need to get out of here." Dana looked around suddenly and then back to Yuri who she refused to put down. "Where are your dogs sweeting?"

" Here.." Yuri lifted the sun and moon charm from her necklace, both shining slightly as if in greeting. " I didnt want the shadow things to bite them.."
Riley shifted, staring at the boy in a mixture of shock and rage. her eyes flashed as she took a step forward, demanding sharply. " What have you done, vampire? why does that boy resemble Quin so much?" He looked exactly like her little brother.. just in modern day, instead of the time he grew up in.
Zoey fairly purred as she slid her arms around Erik's neck, resting her chin on his shoulder as she answered smugly. " Because i made him from Quin. a clone if you will, and isnt he just so cute?!" her green eyes met Rileys red ones, laughter in her gaze as she added sweetly. " He is perfect now, his magic identical to yours and more potent than your daughters." she didnt seem aware of the way Erik had stiffened.

The look on the boys face was far more odd, a dejected look of shock settling on his features. a clone..? it made sense.. but it wasnt fair. reaching up he caught Zoey's wrist, jerking her away from him with shocking strength. his hair fell over his eyes, only the tense line of his mouth visible as he mused quietly. " A clone..? you really have no idea, do you.. Im the original, Zo." He was Erik.. the Erik, he didnt give a damn where she scratched up his genetics from. " .. and you should realize that."
Hearing that threat from the boys mouth nearly had Quin rubbing his temples from tiredness, but he settled for a firm growl as he looked at Erik. " Dana.. get Yuri out. Riley, go with them and protect Dana's back." he wasnt leaveing without that boy.. and he had a feeling that he would fight back if he gave him the chance.
Seeming to sense Quin's thoughts Erik crouched slightly, his body tenseing slowly. " Get. Out."

Dana nodded and jogged out of the room quickly. She held Yuri close and when they were outside she finally put her down. "Where can we go Riley? My place isn't the safest right at the moment."

She glanced over her shoulder, a unsettled look flashing in her eyes as she answered. " Qun has a loft in the church, and a band of thieves willing to die for him. i say we head for the club Howlers, Yuri has a friend there and its safer." folding her arms over her chest she gave a low growling sound, hating to leave Quin behind.
Yuri solved that problum for them.. the girl jumping on Suri's back the moment the wolf appeared. " We cant leave him, Aunt Ri, she wants Erik to kill him..!" the sun wolf gave a single growl, then bounded back into the building.
Zo recovered from Erik's shove, scowling at him as she lifted her hand. " You are useless.. ill make another, i wont have you acting like that.. both of you, Perish!" Large shards of glass split from the mirror, shooting for Quin.. and unintentionaly, Yuri.. the girl sitting on her wolf as it halted infront of Quin.

Quin gave a foul curse, droping down to curl himself protectivly around Yuri and her wolf. he felt glass bite into his shoulders and his thigh.. but nothing touched his exposed head or neck. warrily he raised his gaze.. only to find it blocked by a torn white shirt.
Blood leaked down Erik's chest and arms, his right eye closed and his shirt shredded.. but he still managed to sound mocking as he met Zoeys gaze. " You missed.." blood trickled down his temple and across his cheek, his eyes hidden by his hair as he smirked as he spread his hands wide. " But i wont." black chains wraped around his wrists, twin beasts straining as they looked at Zo egarly. his smirk turned cruel as he leaned forward, saying softy to his beasts. " DinDin." the chains vanished and the beasts lept forward, leaving Erik to crumple on the floor unconscious without their support.

Dana rushed in and came in when the glass was done and the beasts were let loose. She ran up to Quin and Yuri first. "Are you alright?" She then looked over at Erik and went over to him to look him over. "Does he heal? Or do you think we have to take him to my mother?" Dana came back to Yuri, her mind scrambled. "Yuri, please don't scare us like that again." Her voice was strained, not wanting to sound angry or scream. "Quin and I don't want to lose you okay sweeting?"

Zoey screamed, turning with a whirl of skirts as she ran into the unbroken part of the mirror. Of all things, she feared those creatures.. enough so that she escaped into the mirror world and kept running, unsure if they could fallow her or not.
Yuri nodded, wiggling out from under Quins hold to sit beside him.. looking at the glass sticking from his skin with wide eyes. " im sorry.. but he needed help and.. i dont wanna loose you two either i dont want to loose my mommy and daddy again." she closed her eyes, tears forming on her lashs as she added in a thick voice. " Is that boy going to be ok..?"
Riley gave them a wide birth, kneeling down next to the boy and whistling quietly. He had nerve.. she'd give him that. the poor boy looked like a pin cushion for glass. ignoring the hounds she started to pull the glass out, thankful that he was unable to feel it. when she was satisfied most of it was out she lifted him into her arms, turning to the others with a comanding tone. " Your mothers. we need all of this glass out, of both of them, or that hag can track them. Be glad he is tall.. that shard in his shoulder was ment for your neck, Quin." if he survived this, Riley would personaly hug the little p***k.. he had taken the shard ment to end Quins life.

Quin ruffled Yuri's hair, his tone soothing as he promised. " We are not going anywhere, little one. It was a very brave thing you did, protecting me like that." His gaze traveled to the boys face, his expression curious. he fully believed that Yuri had saved his life.. the boy had reacted to save her, not Quin. Not that he blamed him.. in his place, it was exactly what he would have done. " He'll live, We cant let him die now that he's helped us." standing he gestured for them to go out, pulling a long shard from his thigh wordlessly as he studied the shadow creatures.
The two hounds crept to Riley's side, both growling quietly as if in protest of her taking their master. the larger one nudged Erik's hand, causeing the boy to suck in a sharp breath.. then relax as if some of his pain had been taken away. They took up stations on either side of Riley, their tails sweeping as they kept pase.

Dana smiled and kissed Yuri on the forehead. "Come on baby. Lets go to the club and maybe get your grandma to come help Erik." She stood up and took Yuri's hand. "Lets get amovin, we don't want to lose the boy." Dana started to walk out, gently having Yuri follow.

she nodded, asking sweetly as Dana led her away. " Can she teach me to use Luna? Ri has taught me Bones but.. im not that strong in calling him yet." Suri was her natural element, she had no problum calling him to help her.. but Luna only came when she was afraid, and Bones came when he felt like it.
Riley nodded, glancing at the hounds once before heading for the exit. she couldnt help but study the boy more closely.. in his sleep he still looked tense, as if fighting even in his dreams. sighing she shook her head, saying in a tired tone. " Lets go, our boy here may wake up soon.. and i dont want to beat him any worse than he is to get him to the healer."
