Laren quickly realized her ploy of distracting the two in front of her had failed, but luckily they hadn't drawn their close range weapons all the way, allowing her the time to get iin another attack. She stabbed forward with both swords, the left one at the human's chest and the right one at te halfling's face.

Feeling his feet give out beneath him, Tjaden cursed. In a practiced motion, he changed from the Sliding Snake Snap, into a forward roll of the Spinning Fang, using the momentum of the fall to make another attack. This time he rolled closer to his target and sprung up, but rather than putting the strike into his upward jump, he aimed the sword down at the attackers shoulders as he descended on the man. He hoped his lapse in awareness would not repeat itself...for the next time it could spell his doom.

"Damn!" Prometheus gasped, as his inexperience caused him a great attack. He immediately took up defensive, and tried to use the man's counter against him, and twist the sword with his scimitar, hopefully disarming the man. Then if it worked stabbing at the man's heart, with his right hand.

Kal ran through the shade of the trees, hearing a clashing battle. When he was within eyesight, he saw the group fighting the bandits. Bandits. A thievery group. If they began to win enough, Kal thought about joining in. Get a little more treasure for his own journey. For now, he stayed in the shadows, nuetral.

Selce looked at the dwarf that had taken the arrow. When she looked back up at the stand of tree's the archers had used, all she could see was the elf Laren against two opponents. Seeing she would be hardpressed if they blocked her attacks Selce went into yet another spell. As she cast the MAGIC MISSILE spell, she aimed at the human as she could see him better over the cover of the trees. The blue bolts raced at the man.

((SO MANY ACTIONS!!! AHHHH *head explodes* Also, Zack, in case you didn't notice, don't bump lol. Everyone else, as soon as he removes that bump post, just edit your own to remove the "OMG WTF U BUMPED"))
Erron engages the bandit leader! Laren attacks two of the remaining thieves! Tjaden attempts to take down the fleeling attacker! Prometheus tries to counter the counter of the bandit while Selce launches a magic missile attack at the same target!
1-10 The bandit leader quickly dodges and counters, causing moderate damage to Erron! The two thieves in the grove turn and move in cohesion as they spin out of the way of Laren's attack and the human launches the halfling as a missile weapon, sending her falling to the ground, dealing moderate damage. Tjaden lands past the fleeing man, though the bandits morale is so shaken, that he continues to escape and disappears from sight. Prometheus strikes forward, but is parried by the defender as he strikes outward as well. Selce's magic missiles are partially resisted, dealing minor damage to the defending bandit.
11-20 The bandit leader parries a few strikes from Erron but takes minor damage from his attacks. The two thieves in the grove are taken off-guard by Laren's attack as she charges in, she manages to stab the human in the chest, though the halfling dodges and counters, dealing her minor damage. Tjaden's leaping sword strike misses the target, though he does land on the fleeing man, causing minor damage to the target. The defending bandit is cut by Prometheus' scimitar as Selce's magic missiles soar in, taking him off-guard. He is now badly wounded.
Results: 21-30 The bandit leader is caught off-guard by Erron's attacks and crumples to the ground after being pummeled so fiercely. The two thieves in the grove are both killed by Laren's sudden dual-saber attack. Tjaden's leaping sword strike utterly destroys the fleeing thief. The defending bandit is disabled by the barrage of magic missiles and loses his defense as Prometheus lands the killing blow.
And so, the battle for the caravan was won, all the remaining thieves had either ran away or been killed by other guards. The group only suffered minor injuries and the only casualties were the heroic dwarf who protected Selce as well as two other caravan guards. Phineas Fairhand calls out for everyone to load the injured and dead workers onto the carriages.

Erron lands a crushing kick to the leader's chest, instantly putting the man out of commission: he crumples to the ground in a twitchy, moaning heap.
He decides to check the man for any objects of interest before moving on to help load the dead and wounded mercenaries and guards. He hops into one of the wagons of wounded men and borrows some medical supplies one of them was carrying to help staunch blood flow until they made camp and were able to more fully treat the wounded. He looks around to see if he can find his associates to congratulate them on a well fought battle as well.

Tjaden's sword plunged deep into the man's shoulder. Whether he died from shock or the sword, Tjaden did not care. He pulled his sword free, wiped it clean on his dead opponent and sheathed it. He then proceeded to check his kill for any possessions. He would take any of the man's arms and armour as well. He did owe Erron for the equipment, after all. "You keep what you kill." Tjaden intoned quietly, holding his find to his chest and thanking his ancestors for his victory.
Tjaden walked back to the caravan. "Are we to leave the surviving bandits here to rot or shall we take them with us to Haven to suffer by the law for their crimes?" Tjaden asked the caravan leader.

Phineas turned to the orc and said without a smile for once,
"No, we leave them here, that is the only way they will carry their message back to their superiors. I do not care who has braved to attack my caravan, this attempt was poor and frail. They will not make such a foolish strike again."
The caravan leader called out to everyone.
"All carriages, prepare for immediate departure! We will be making camp at the nearby Haven outpost of Balpheron's Grasp. Move out!"
The party finds 515 gold
(all otherwise useless items are converted directly into gold)

Tjaden snorted a bit. It unnerved him that they would not see the justice of the towns...but when with humans, do as the humans do. Out here, it was the law of the land. Tjaden was quiet for a while, taking the time to contemplate how his need for justice should play out in a land where the strength of justice ended at the city walls. (edited)
