Ezra watched the fight with a bored expression. Arrogance being fought against by someone who justified his arrogance. It bored him.
Chronarch sighed. That was a waste of time. LAstern, I think we're done here. The battle seems pretty evenly sided. We should return when the balance shifts. He waited for a response and then faded away, as did Archereus' slight presence.
The vampire looked over, having caught slight amounts of the interdimensional communication. IT raised curiosity in him. But, then they were gone.

The seraph didnt stand there to let the blow hit him. he had no hope of getting past that defense at this moment. turning as Rick swung, the Seraph changed, becoming sleeker again, and shooting off, back out, heading through the ship as fast as he could, until he found a doorway... but it was blocked by a panel. shifting to his defensive form, the seraph bodyslammed the panel, knocking it loose, though some odd red energy sparked over him before the panel went back to the doorway... glancing around, the seraph found himself in the middle of another fight... and in a docking bay? (Exits to expansia field)

The ship shuddered violently. Now Rick was getting a bit nervous. His wonderful ship was sinking, "Impossible!" He was honestly stunned. There was no way he could have failed! He stood up and another jolt nearly knocked him off his feet, "Give them everything you have!!!" He demanded. He knew two of the engines and one generator had been knocked out. The generator called Fey I was destroyed, meaning the ship was operating on the power of one Faerie now.

The Reaper appeared in front of Rick, a smug grin on his face. "Your plans seem to be failing, experiment." The reaper said, writing something in a very dusty, old, worn tome. "Not only is your ship nearly crippled, your most powerful servant has been killed."

The Reaper grinned some more. "As you wsh, my lord." The reaper said with major sarcasm. "I need to show Leonard to his own personal chamber in hell anyway. i have a special room there for him." the reaper said, fading to a shadow, and disappearing.

Rick landed in his chair as his ship suddenly crashed into the ground. He sent the infected inside his ship to the places where there would be people trying to get in. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes.

The reaper sliowly emerged from the wall above Rick's head, his scythe in hand, ready to sever the bonds to life that Rick held as he had his eyes closed.

Ezra watched this exchange in mild interest, more important things on his mind. Most of them about how he seemed to have joined up with a failure. He sighed. No one ever seemed to have a good enough judging of how powerful they were. It was many people's undoing.

Chase appeared back on the airship, only to find to his disgust that it had fallen. He walked to the room where Rick was. He looked out a window, looking at the airship, now parked in Expansia Field. "Dammit, so the poor airship really did crash." He said, looking back to the others.

"That it did," Rick agreed with Chase, then addressed 'Death' again, "You know, I have a better idea. Those fools who shot me down should be here at any moment. I want you to kill them," He said casually. He wasn't so stupid that he would let the reaper go like that. Even if it's for Leonard's life. What's the good of Leonard's life if he had no body to use?
