Looking at your names, I'm thinking the deities might have complicated names they use amoung themselves (your names) and are called simpler names by mortals.
Because, well, I don't think I could keep those names straight (esp the Valarhini) , sorry.

Oooo... I like it! But she is right. They need simpler names. Like the god of fire could be named Aidan (Which means fiery.) And the god of the sky could be named Brend (Which means raven.) Their names should mean what they represent.

the names are up for personalization in this setting of course. in my own i had given the Demigods names in Quenya, representing that the Elves were the first to give them name sin the mortal realm. the Valarhini have the same Hebrew names of the Sephiroth in the Qlipoth that represent them. but yes, it was to be noted that other people gave them names in their own languages as well.

I will use Twilight's god pantheon and add names. Some will be real god's names, and some will be ones I came up with, and will usually mean something related to what the god represents
Uber-Deities Sonora: Deity of Eather and Sound. (Female) Abner: Deity of Creation, Preservation and Light (Male) Braeden: Deity of Destruction, Etropy and Darkness (Male)
Pantheon Avari: Greater Deity of the Sky, Weather, the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, Navigation and Lycanthropes. (Female) Hasad: Greater Deity of the Land, Harvests, Fertility and Terrestrial Flora & Fauna. (Male) Maylin: Greater Deity of the Sea, Luck, Commerce and Ocean Flora & Fauna. (Female) Akuji: Greater Deity of the Underground, Death, Decay, Fungus and Wealth. (Male)
Aidan: Intermediate Deity of Fire, War, Desire and Madness. (Male) Kendi: Intermediate Deity of Water, Beauty, Love and Healing. (Female) Viata: Intermediate Deity of Air, Music, Magic and Travel. (Female) Liv: Intermediate Deity of Earth, Knowledge, Tranquility and Peace. (Female)
Kaemon: Lesser Deity of Laughter, Joy, Dancing and Hedonism. (Male) Eytan: Lesser Deity of Strength, Courage, Honour, Duty and Martyrdom. (Male) Maura: Lesser Deity of Shadows, Lies, Stealth and Cowardice. (Female) Shiva: Lesser Deity of Ice, Sorrow, Resignation and Undeath. (Female)
I like this set of names. They are fairly simple, and they aren't common, and the names mean a part of what they are.

my Uber-Deities are genderless...
and i was going to make my Pantheon details myself, thankyou.... but was open to ideas of course...
i apreciate that you would help like that, but ... forgive me, i feel a little offended... that's borderline Plageurism, isn't it?

I'm sorry. I just don't like the long and complicated names that you come up with. Didn't mean to offend you. But I thought we were supposed to work together? And technically, it's not plageurism. I gave you credit at the top. Quote: I will use Twilight's god pantheon and add names. See?

Seems I'm not the only one getting trapped by the real world... Anyways, I enjoyed Romanovs original deity concepts... Except for Undeath being ruled over by a lesser deity, perhaps it be moved up to intermediate deity domain? I also would like to suggest five deities in each category, except to the Uber deities, we only need three... Also, are we including vampires or no? If so I'd like to base them off folk legends and not modern concepts, such as glittering...

1.) i like that my Undeath deity is lesser, it represents her position as a lamenting deity of lost dreams, broken promises, and other abandonments of all hope. still quite likely to gain power at times.
and i have 12 total. i like that number.

Ah, when you put it that way it does fit better, thanks for clarifying...
So the folk based vampires are a go then?...

i thought we already discussed vampires? weren't they to be created by a spellplague? as were various other anomalies of the setting? including certain ancient fallen cities of the level of sophistication of modern-setting, which have since overgrown like jungles? it's all back on the first few pages dude. confused

i suppose we should discuss rules, such as how equipment works. will it be piece by piece, mixing armour of one kind for your chest with so and so helmet, with so and so bracers, with so and so footwear...? or will it be in full sets, like in D&D? can you take off and put it on instantly, like in MMOs, do you need to sit and take your time ik ein Tabletop games, or is it a one-turn action, like in FFX-2's Spherechange option?

I'll go with piece by piece with appropriate time for equipment, such as in D&D. Also, should armor have to be bought at armorers or could people assemble unique armors from corpses of enemies and enemy armors, i.e. dragon scales, pelts...
