Charlotte slowly turns and quirked a brow at her. "Gold and magic? Now where would you get a stupid idea like that. It's just gold. Pure, plain ol gold." She pulled off on of her rings and tossed it to the woman. "See for your self." The gold; now away from her body, did smell plain and normal.

Charlotte was just standing there... And then the ring was gone; firmly placed back on her finger were it originally was. "Testy little thing." She muttered. "It's just gold." She shoke her head and turned her back to them.

Charlottes hand slowly moves down the staff she is holding and seems oblivious to the on coming attack. As the thing drew closer she threw the staff as hard as she could impaling the ground next to the creature. It looks as though she failed; untill the thing freezes up all joints becomeing lock up.
