Sai slowly transformed back into a human, making himself appear next to Kaori. "I'm hear," he whispered back, leaning over as he placed his hands on hers. "Don't worry, you're fine," he said gently. His emerald eyes softened, as he tried his best to console her, knowing how frightened she must feel at that moment. "Everythings going to be okay," he said reasuringly.

Kaori flinched as Gordon spoke. She hadn't meant for him to hear her.. She looked at him, but didn't speak, and was shortly distracted again by the female Julia had been with. Kaori lifted her head a bit as she watched her blankly, yet her mind took in the words. After a moment, she nodded very softly. "R-right now," she said through her tears. "I honestly cannot fight without fear, unless we can find some place to keep Kai where there's no way he'd be found. That's the reason I cannot fight. I... I just found I have a brother and I cannot lose him already!"
She retreated into her arms again, once more hiding her face. All these people were around watching her and she suddenly felt extremely small. Her logic of crying equals weakness still stood and towered over her as the tears continued pouring out. She felt like dying of shame as she huddled herself into an even tighter position. Images of her parents last night renewed in her head and she whimpered in fear, them playing through like an overly vivid movie. Then a new scene added itself, showing Kai and his death. Everything was blocked out as the pictures overcame her entire being.
She didn't move as Sai made himself known. At first, she wasn't even aware. But then she felt his touch and shuddered, imaging it in her mind as the attackers. Slowly she took in his words, letting them fight their way through her mind far enough for her to actually hear them. When she did, they played through one of the asailents mouths and she froze in confusion before realizing it was Sai. Everything's going to be ok... Slowly, she nodded and tried once again to calm herself, willing the images to leave her head. She cursed mentally at herself for allowing them to come at all.

" Lets go. This guy can handle it." Gordon to Jo. He started running back to the group. He panted for a minute still weary from that move he did.
" Listen guys I'm going to the place Mergex was to see what this guy can did so i can study his moves. I'm sorry i couldn't help you guys search for the sketchbook." he said waving before running off to the North courtyard.

"There you go," he said softly. "Come now, why don't we find your brother, that way we know for sure he's all right; i think that will be better for you," he said as he started to stand up.
"Or would you rather just stay and calm down that way?" he asked, not knowing which way she wanted to go, seeing as he still didn't know to much about her.

Kaori slowly raised her head, wiping away her tears as best she could. She held back another quiet whimper as she pushed herself to her feet. Her face was red and puffy, tearstained, but the sadness had entirely disappeared. It replaced itself with determination as she nodded. "O-ok, I'd like to go find him..." she murmured, voice slowly becoming less shaky as she spoke. She started towards the door and then paused, head hanging low for a moment. Then she glanced back at Sai. "Thanks," she said and then paused in the doorway before heading outside. Then she stopped again, allowing the momentarily forgotten dragon to settle in her arms. "I'm alright..." she sighed as she petted his head, apologizing for ignoring him earlier. She knew she still didn't look alright, but maybe if she kept her face straight people would believe..

[Oh, my bad. Since you did say that she wasn't really looking at where she was going I thought I was being clever by adding to the vauge description sweatdrop ]
Kaori wasn't makeing much progress it seemed. Despite having three people sharing words of comfort. She needs time alone Jo evaluated as she stood to leave. Gordon did so at the same time before he left for the Northern Courtyard, eager to study the residue left from this enemy's attacks. His ambition will get him killed though... She returned to Julia's side who was still feeling guilt for herself and perhaps partially for Kaori...

He nodded. "No need for thanks," he smiled. "You know, if you have something to say, just say it; even if it is rude, i'll listen to it... it's better to not keep things in," he suggested slightly as he watched Kei land in Kaori's arms.

A mysterious person entered the playground.. She was wearing a white school shirt with a sky blue plaid tie, a sky blue plaid skirt, a dark blue socks that reach her knees, and black shoes. She had orange/ red hair. Mostly red and a little brown. She went toward Sai and put a hand on his shoulder causing his shoulder to frezze and she said coldly, "I saw you with Kaori..Do you know her? If you do, do you know anyone named Lighttt?" She took her hand off his shoulder making his shoulder once again not freezing. She stand still waiting for a reply.

He turned around, having felt her touch, but not the coldness. "I'm sorry if I made you jelous or something," he said skeptically to the girl, hearing the coldness in her voice, "but I don't know someone named Lighttt, even if I do know Kaori. You'll just have to find someone else who may know him," he said before turning back around and starting towards Kaori again.

How dare he? Of all I have been through he turns his back.."You don't remember me?" She asked. "Its a shame really....If you don't..." She was now facing him face to face blocking his veiw between Kaori.She glared at him. Her eyes sparkled.

He closed his eyes for a moment from frustration, clenching his fist. He slowly opened them, and looked at the girl. "Yes, Misa-san," he said through clenched teeth, "I remember you. However, I don't know your brother. Now, if you excuse me, I have something more important to do." He side stepped and started once again towards Kaori.

Kaori turned back to Sai upon hearing his words and nodded slowly again. "...you're right," she sighed. "I'm not entirely recovered... But I'm fine enough to go look for Kai, or just wander around if you prefer. I'm.. sure he's fine though. I feel like I'd know if he wasn't, for some reason..." She frowned softly as she wiped her face again, just to make sure it was now tear-free. Then she went back to petting the dragon.
Kaori didn't look up at first when the new female approached, but raised her eyes slowly when she mentioned Lighttt. She watched, eyes widening slightly, as the girl touched Sai's shoulder and made it freeze, then shortly after removing the ice. She blinked in surprise as she looked at her closer. Misa...? she thought uncertainly. This girl didn't look at all like her, but she gave off a strange feeling of familiarlarity. [sp? >>;;] Kaori frowned towards her as she heard the girl's dark words, and blinked in surprise as Sai called her Misa. So it was her? What had happened? Kaori walked towards Sai now and lightly touched his arm, eyes still upon the female. "Are you.. sure that's Misa?" she asked very quietly so only he could hear.
[That's alright Julia. I wasn't specific enough.. ^^;]

Kaori nodded slowly and replied softly again. "Yeah, I'm getting the same familiar feeling..." She stared at the girl again, eyes sweeping across her. For some reason, it just seemed like Misa. She even had ice powers! Man, what is going on with these two...? she thought, thinking of Misa and Lighttt. She sighed almost silently to herself as she stroked Kei's back absently. She kept her eyes on the girl, almost as if waiting for some explanation.

"Jo, thank you..." Julia spoke with a quiet tone as she was recovering from the powerful recollection earlier.
"What for?"
"Hmm... *sigh* ...nothing."
"Didn't you that we were going to eat," Jo said seemingly out of nowhere.
Being caught off gaurd, Julia blinked a moment before realizing that's where they were going just prior to this whole affair. "Well, I'm not feeling apetized. I'll see if we can't have something sent to our room." Julia's nerves were still feeling strange, weak. She sighed at this, pulling out a cigarette to cool her nerves. "It looks like you've already met my new freinds, eh?"
"So it would seem..."
Once again, the two women marched off towards the main facility, their figures silloueted against the horizon as Julia's long hair entertwined with the long sash hanging from Jo's neck as they continued their procesion...
