OoC: First and for most: Real world time and In-Character time are in no way, shape or form, interchangeable.

In one RP, not a few mind you, but in one given RP, time can be static(not moving beyond the timeframe of the previous posts) for any number of consecutive posts, I’m seen at least four time static posts in a row before, and I’m not talking one liners or anything, I’m talking about massive multi page posts , that dwarf any posts in this RP thus far including my own, were it takes a weak for all of them to get posted by four RPers. And then after time had stood still all that time the RP’s time farm can leap forwards, days, weeks, months, even years in one post, forget seconds, minutes or hours. Simply said, there is no exchange rate for real time and In-character time.

A general rule of thumb is that the normal amount of time between two posts is 5-30 seconds, but this can get convoluted when the timelines of characters intersect, separate and then rejoin again. I’ll use this RP as an example.
-Rufus an’ Co’s time line: Rufus Fires his pistol* and then orders the constable to make way. Derek, fallowing Rufus hops though a window, that was inside the hanger, and reinforced Rufu’s demand. Rufus is addressed by Sally**
-Remi’s and Sally’s time line: Remi and Sally hear a gunshot and then start going towards it.*Remi and Sally meet while investigating a “Somewhat distant” gunshot, they briefly exchange peasantries and then continue on together. Remi and Sally ‘cross the distance***’ and come to a window, on the outside. Unable to open it she smashed a hole into it. Another brief conversation was had and then Sally entered the warehouse though the window. The conversation continued as Remi fallowed. Remi got behind some burials then Sally saw a bleed drow and then cast a spell and walked towards Rufus and Co. constable included. Sally then addresses Rufus**

A simple solution to this would have been to start your timeline back further(aka starting your intro post in the RP’s past), let’s say when Rufus and Co. fought the Drow, there was loader weapons going off then as well and more of them as well. You could have then walked towards the warehouse and then heard the more resent gunshot when you got closer, and thus knew which building it was. As it stands now you two more or less stumbled into the right building on the first try through dumb luck, but this is off topic and I’ll again stop here.

@Visba, honestly, there is no real set "post duration time" Through nine times out of ten, it should be expected that post events are in almost chronological order, but slight time differences sometimes occur depending if a group is in a different place than another.))
Rufus turned his head as he heard what sounded to be a small girl enter the ship. Though he saw no one there, a dead giveaway was the now open door.
That damn kid better be able to worm his way out of this...

Alice came up the stairs, the damn boilers were fritzing when the ship oddly decided to depart suddenly. Walking through the left wing of the ship, something caught her eye, a small girl, perhaps not being a good stowaway, in the lobby. "Hey! What are you doing here?!" She gestured with her right hand to the door. "Get out!"

Derek's heart lept into overdrive. He was so close, now. So close to his dream. Why did someone have to recognize him now, of all times? He looked slightly downward, hoping the his the rim of his hat would cover his face sufficiently.
"I think you're looking for someone else..." He said, trying to side-step them. One of the bobbies put a hand to his shoulder and roughly turned him around. It was now or never. He couldn't stay here.
As he turned around, Derek clocked the constable in the side of the head, using centripetal force for more momentum. He quickly snatched the whistle from the other, who was in the process of raising it to his lips, and shoved him out of the way. Running flat-out onto the ship, he quickly pulled the lever to close the hatch.
"I'm in!"

Alice never heard of such a silly contraption. "What?"

"Stop!" One of the constables went after Derek.
Rufus raised his fist, a threw one wicked left hook into the jaw of the officer. The solid punch caught him off guard, out of the corner of his eye, he saw one run at him with his club drawn. Rufus's rapid fire right hand threw out several jabs to the nose. His left rocketed up underneath the chin, landing the uppercut. Seeing the door close, leaped off of his legs, rolling into the closing door. Which shut with a nice click.

Cornelius hit the throttle, The ship front tipping forward as the propellers kicked. The Freeglory lifted as it left behind the dock and police. He turned to the east, hoping to find a better resting spot for the moment.

Rufus recovered onto his legs. Almost being thrown back down as the ship bounced. Alice pushed against the corners of the hallway behind her.
"Wait, you were the one who came on here! Tell me who you are unless you want a good beating!" Alice retorted quite angerly. "Rufus, why the hell did you get a child?"
Rufus looked to the angered Alice. "Ya lookin' at me like it's my fault she came on? 'Ell, I do not even know tha' kid." He looked back to the small child. "Why tha' 'ell did ya come on my ship anyway?"

"There's a...something, it's used on incredibly techy ships, my sis is a mechanic and her birthday's coming up. I was hoping I could do something for you and get it for her, but if I don't get back by midnight...well, I suggest you get a doctor on the ship, she doesn't ask, she kills" Sally smoothed out her dress worriedly

Sally bit her lip. Serrenedy was infamous with her criminal record. Serrenedy had once smashed in a kid's face cause he looked at her odd coloring. "Um...do I have to?" She whimpered kinda. "I'm Sally...Sally White"

Remi, travelled back to the junk shop where he was shopping before. He had gotten distracted before he really got to look at anything before. He was hoping to find a rapier; he had taken fencing lessons at his secondary school but he had never had a rapier of his own. He didn't have enough money to buy one from a metalworker, so the junk shop one (if he could find it) would have to do. The cobbled streets looked splendid in the sun, but he really was quite tired of the city and after he searched for a rapier, he would really have to find a way out--aside from walking, that is.
