"I am fully aware of his attitude with his posistion. And rest assured, when the time is right, We will make a move to remedy that problem. But not now. I need more time to plan it out"
Askad walked past his lab and started heading back to the temple where he had been sealed as a wraith.
"What I didn't tell him was that I didn't actually transfer the wraith magic. I copied it" he took the head band out of his pocket "If I can find a way to seperate just the power over undead, then I should be able to merge that with other magic and create a golem with the best of everything. I need you with me in case something goes wrong"
Askad said as they reached the temple doors.
"Also, I have a feeling spritely may be spying on us. If you see him, scare him and make sure he knows what'll happen if he is up to something"

Shade followed his master, ever diligent in his absolute devotion. Though he was one of Askad's earliest experiments he had grown from a shambled wreck of a human who could not cope with his new form into a powerful creature of shadow. Most importantly his devotion to Askad bordered on the fanatical, for Shade had long ago given his mind, heart and soul to his creator.

Finally materializing fully beside his master he turned his head to regard Askad, listening to everyword without making a single sound. His gaze unnerved many, with his pure black body save for his bone white skull mask which hid all emotion. And yet many who met his gaze could not help but feel something horribly alien behind that skeletal visage, an intelligence and a malice born of silence.

At the mention of Spritely Shade turned his head sideways to a perfect 90 degree angle, "Spritely is a mere trickster, a jester in the court of a madman. You have made me so much more than he could ever be, my master. If he approaches anywhere near your domain I will be certain to...dissuade him from returning. If I pressed, may I kill him my master?" This question was perhaps the only favor Shade ever asked of his master, he did not seem to delight in the act of murder, but he relished the finality of a slain foe. Once an enemy was dead and gone he could pose no further threat to his master Askad, what more joy could a loyal servant desire?

"Don't kill him outright. It's quite amusing to watch him squim around those higher up then him. But if he gets to big for his boots, then feel free to...Remove any non-crucial parts. Arms, kidneys etc. But take your time with it, enjoy it, make sure he realizes what happens when he messes around where he doesn't belong"

If Shade could smile Askad would have be certain this would be the time, but as it was the shadowy servant merely nodded his head and then sank slowly downwards into a shadow on the floor, "By your command master Askad."

Once fully engulfed in the inky darkness Shade move along the walls, floor and ceiling swiftly, stretching himself out between tiny cracks of shadows between the stone walls. Any amount of shadow stuff would do, he had long ago learned to exploit the minute places of darkness that most ignored.

Resting once again in the keyhole to his masters portion of the great underground palace he remained as still and silent as the shadows from which he drew his power. Though he did not share his amusement at the flailings of the foolish imp Shade did dwell on just how he would torture and injure the little creature, his mind left to think of the most effective way to teach the imp a lesson without angering the overlord.

Kira looked at Sar worried then nodded, telling Sparta to stay with Sar as she walked upstairs and into the bedroom.

(( sorry so short, writers block. DX having that a lot lately))

Askad put the headband back down on his desk and started casting spells to remove all the wraith magic exept the power over the undead, and the transformation itself, as he had grown to quite like his wraith look.

He walked over to one of the caged imps and disintergrated it, leaving only it's skeleton which crumbled into a pile bones. Askad put the headband back on, turning back into his wraith form, and used the magic to turn the skeleton into a skeletal imp. he then used his golem magic to hold it together. He let it out of it's cage and watched it run around madly befoe sitting down and doign nothing, liek a regular imp.
"so, if the bones are from the same thing, it retains it's mind. that's unfortunate"

Sar walked down the halls checking each room casually untill he got to Askads room. He opened the door dismissing any traps that may have been in place. "Greetings Shade." He said casualy and walked past to the door. He knocked on it politley. violence wasnt the best solution in the place.

Askad heard the knock at the door and grabbed the skeleton imp by the throat. This did nothing to it, being dead, but did make it stop running around. he dragged it over to the door and opened it.
"What is it?" he asked.

Shade emerged from his hiding place, always frustrated to some degree by how Sar was able to detect him no matter where he hid. The shadow creature slide along the ground until he formed up behind his master, standing in his shadow with only his white face revealed in the dark hall. He kept his face fixed on Sar, but as usual the mask revealed no more emotion than the general sense of distant intelligence somewhere behind it.

"I though it was time i came and saw what wondouros things you are working on, if see if you are simply mutating and tormentings things. Either one is fine." He said and walked in grabbing the undead imp. "Intresting but no fun." He said. Sar picked up the headband and examined it. "Still working on your wraith magic i see. I dont know why you dont just research the location to another tomb and get more wraiths and actually study them myself. of course anything that will incinerate the goody goody on the surface."

"I'm working on it. I'm trying to combine the wraith necromancy with my golem magic, for one main reason. I've been up to the surface a few times adn walked amongst the surface dwellers, and I've notced one slight problem with invading them. Resistance. They have walls so thick and strong that an army rampaging trolls won't get though them and the soldiers will fight to the death. So I'm attempting to fix that problem. I intend to create a Magical monstrousity, A beast from hell that will demolish even dawrfen stonework and will strike fear into the most Stalwart of heroes. I will ressurect The Carnifex and set it loose on the Surface"

User ImageShade moved behind Askad, silently sliding along the floor as he inspected the skeletal imp, feeling only disdain for the undead little beast. He was so much more than this pathetic creature, he was the greatest of his master's creations and no imp could stand before him.

"No fortress made by a surface dweller can keep me out my master. Allow me to lead the way, I will cut every throat in every city until none remain to oppose you," he paused and looked to Sar, "Or you overlord..."

"Shade, I trust in your abilties compeletly. But the problem is that while your apearance is undoubtadly unnerving, I fear that will not be enough to break the surface dwellers. I would happily allow you to slaughter them all. But in this war, Fear will be a valuble commodity. I understand the kind of fear that knowing you're going to die, but not when will cause quite a breakdown. But imagine the screams, the fear, the sheer terror, when their great walls come crashing down on top of them, and then, when the beast climbs over the remains and gives it's screech of victory, then the surface dwellers will realize their fate is at hand. And then, when they think it can't get worse, we charge, breaking their spirits and their bodies at once"
