Octavio nodded. "Well, I confess I don't understand much of this place either. However, eventually you'll have to since you'll be living here..." He muttered. He led Lucius to the door and carefully opened it. "Actually, I think we've stumbled upon some kind of bad situation. Something's going on here and I'm not sure what yet."
Octavio didn't want to tell Lucius about Neros. He thought perhaps the poor guy might just freak out... "Come on." He said quietly.
The two of them moved down the hallway.

He followed Octavio, though kept some distance.
"Live here? No, no, I cannot live here. I am only here to get Nino's son and return to the orphanage... I did not intend to stay for very long," Lucius said in complete denial of the situation. He just didn't want to believe that he couldn't get home.
"What sort of 'bad situation' do you mean? Are there invaders in this country? Or is it thieves?" He innocently asked questions to evaluate just how quickly he needed to find Rei.

It was too difficult to relax, Amelia realized as she changed from her day clothes into sleeping clothes. She curled up under her blankets, wearing a patched, oversized sweater with cloth shorts, then straightened out. She rolled onto her other side, paused, then sighed and sat up in her bed. With the knowledge of what was going on downstairs, and no knowledge of the happenings outside, Amelia couldn't get herself to fall asleep. She was too nervous.
Amelia departed from bed, tugging on a pair of socks once she had reached her dresser. Amelia opened her door to look outside, check for anyone before getting something to drink (Maybe some water will clear my head...) when she noticed a pair of men coming up the stairs. Well, they were both rather effeminate, it was hard to tell, especially with that blonde one... in any case, two people were coming up. They weren't heroes, so they had to have come in from the front door.
Right?
"H-Hey!" Amelia whispered, rushing over. When she stopped in front of them, her eyes were hopeful. She clasped her hands together. "Did... did the other guild members send you? Are they all right? Goodness, I... Do you know any way out of here? How did you get in?" she questioned, her voice still low, too low for anyone else to hear.
She paused. "H-Hold on. Could... please, come with me to my room? I don't know if they... It's more private in there." Amelia stood up straighter, putting her hands at her sides. "Please."

"I'm not sure yet. We'll just have to see." He decided to let Lucius deny his situation for now. At least until they were in a safer place. Somewhere they could talk.
The two moved down the hallway and up more stairs... They moved more carefully when they got to a part of the mansion where the bedrooms were... But they were approached by this girl. He recognized her from before. "Ah... Well alright." He responded quietly. "Are you.... in trouble?" The two men followed Amelia to her room.

Lucius blinked at the girl, but continued to follow them both. He was unsure about his surroundings and thus moved a bit closer to Octavio, seeing as how he know him better than the girl.

Amelia quietly closed the door behind the blonde man and the white-haired one. The white-haired one seemed familiar, but Amelia couldn't be totally sure. She sat down on the bed, then let out a sigh. She clasped her hands together in front of her knees before speaking.
"I don't even know how it happened. I just know that suddenly, these nine warriors are here, they're being lead by Mika, she's turned evil, the dark god that I've kind of wanted to ignore even exists is helping her, maybe even feeding her power, and I'm trapped in my own home. And it's not just me. There's Isadora, and... and Melethia, and Rhys..." Amelia trailed off, gripping her hands into fists. She looked up to the two suspiciously womanly men. "Please... you have to help us. Do you know a way out of here? I can't... Rhys knows something about all of this. If you've seen him, he's a priest, orange hair, white robes... we have to tell the guild. But we're trapped here, and I don't know any way out without any of those warriors noticing anything...!"

"... Disgusting." Misura stood outside the front door of the manor, having eaten her food and decided to get a breath of fresh air. The short teal hair swayed gently in the breeze, and she pushed it back from her eyes irritably. "This place, this world, most especially this house. All of it reeks of the horrid stench of magic." The great black blade came up as the general pressed it to the side of the house, and the runes down its side blazed to life in sharp relief. When she removed it once again, the runes were once again dull and gray. "But we have to stay, don't we? Ugh. I suppose it can't be helped." With a sigh, she rested her head against the wall, cool aquamarine covered by her eyelids as she rested. "Ruled by a mage, and one that is but a girl at that. Pathetic. And even so, there's the feeling of... something." The sky was growing dark overhead, and it was the unfamiliar stars that Misura concerned herself with. "We're dead. We should be... gone. Yet, we're here. Through magic, of course... And this feeling is that we don't belong. That we're to go... elsewhere..." The woman sighed, shaking her head. This was no time for such thoughts. She would need rest; hopefully she would be able to leave the next day. But, other than that, they had "prisoners" she would need to guard. Prisoners... pfeh. What a foolish idea. Capturing them with a band this idealistic only meant that the others would stage some sort of rescue attempt. And someone trying to save their friends might do damage through sheer willpower. What a bother. If they'd only executed these to begin with, but now they couldn't do that. It would look like a slaughter and enrage this "FEF".
Stepping back in, Misura took a few steps forward and nearly tripped over something in the middle of the room. In armor, this would be a fatal mistake; luckily for her, she was wearing none. She caught her balance and stepped back, then readied herself to yell at whoever was dumb enough to seat themselves in the middle of the floor before noticing who it was. Her expression brightened almost instantly, and she seated herself beside the younger Valkyrie, reaching out to embrace her gently. "Jyoti, what are you doing on the floor?" she asked, curious. "There are all sorts of tables and chairs around, there's no need to be uncomfortable. Or to pose a risk to others... walking around." Her eyes slid to the side for a moment at this. "But, if you're okay with it, then..."

"Isadora? She's here as well?" Lucius gnawed on his bottom lip slightly.
The last he had seen of Isadora was after they had defeated Nergal alongside Lord Eliwood... How was she here? Nothing made sense to him anymore and he was beginning to develop a headache.

"Hm... So you are trapped in this mansion by evil warriors? I don't know much about the others you mentioned but I think I saw you with them earlier... Before I was attacked by some vicious thing. I don't know who Mika is either." He looked over at Lucius. "So you know one of those people? She must be from... Elibe was it?"

Amelia nodded once. She was unsure about the warriors themselves being evil, but it was hard to guess otherwise when they helped Mika so readily. She imagined Castello's hands on her shoulders, shivered, then nodded to the two men. "Yes. She's here. Lady Isadora. I can't... explain how it works. But you go through some sort of door, and... you come here. This is Learania. But... that's sort of not the point."
Amelia stood up from her bed. "Can you help us out, uhm... sir? Please? I have to find Rhys. And the others. We have to get out of here."

"Yes." Octavio said simply. "I came here because I thought a man named Loki was causing trouble... If you're in trouble though, I have an obligation to help you."
He stood up. "If we're going to get out of here, we don't have any time to waste. Let's go. Where are your friends?"

Lucius was surprised at the others want to help such a complete stranger. Then again, if he had the ability he would have done the same.
"I'll help too... I probably know less than Lord Damielle, but I am willing to do what I can," he gave a kind smile to the girl to try and calm her nerves somewhat.

Lord??????
Octavio gave Lucius a nervous smile. "Just call me Octavio, please. Just Octavio is fine."

Amelia smiled and nodded in relief. "I'm not sure about Isadora, she should be in her room... Mel and Rhys... I'm not sure about Mel, but I think Rhys will be in the library. We should hurry." She rose to her feet and brushed her sleeves against her shorts before rushing to the door. She lowered her voice as she added urgently, "And be quiet outside!"

"Right." Octavio said quietly. "Which way is... er... Isadora's room?" He looked over to Lucius, then added, "Lucius, stay close to me."
