He cocked his head and looked at Abby closely, seeming to be judging her. "Well," He said finally. "As long as you stay here, you are family. The human aristocratic community a few miles away are holding a ball in a few nights. I thought of taking you both there as a first test of sorts... what say you?" Abby smiled and said, " I'm say I'm ready." Abby then looked at Steph for her answer. "I'm ready as well. It should be fun." Steph smiled. Cyril mouth quirked again in that odd fashion of his. "Simple, commonsense manners should get you by in this. I'd ask you to pick your clothes carefully, though. When I go out into town, I give the semblance of..." He trailed off to think a moment. "...A semblance of old, aristocratically destitute gentry returning to ancestral roots. The image of a noble too stubborn to give up his familial heritage no matter what befalls him." He passed a hand over his face. "True enough, when I think about it, except for the destitute part. And now I am off subject." Cyril paced a few steps and then stopped rather suddenly. "You'll be playing the part of... my neices. Yes, that is it. You'll be my nieces on a trip to the country." One of his eyebrows rose. "Unless that is unsatisfactory to you?" "Nieces it shall be. We are both ready for the part. As far as the dresses, we will make sure they are to your likings." Steph said. Cyril bowed once again. "Very well. I needs must take care of business, so I shall see you in a few night's time. If you have need of me, please, don't hesitate to call for me. " He paused. "And it would be prudent to explore the manor, to get yourself more acquianted with it. Though I must warn you once again to not stray to the tower room." "Yes sir! We will stay away. Promise." Steph said as Abby nodded.

I looked off to the side of me,hearing a voice.Looking down,I see Richard.Seeing this as a private moment for him,I back up a few steps,not wanting to bother him. Richard buried his face in his hands. "I-i-i wish that everything could be as it was. It w-w-w-was s-so peaceful he-here with only M-m-m-master Cyril." I gentle tear rolled down my cheek as I heard this.I hadn't known my appearance was so hard on this poor man.I took a few steps forward and placed my hand upon Richard's shoulder."I am sorry that I have troubled you so by coming here.If I had known it would have troubled someone like yourself,I would have never of come."I say to Richard,hoping he'll except my apology. Richard startled at the touch on his shoulder, and leapt up, broom in hands, before he realised who it was. "M-m-miss N'sela! N-n-n-no, it.. it isn't you. I'm... I'm just... I'm just being selfish." Richard put the broom down. "For so l-long, it was j-j-j-just the M-master and I. I don't.. I don't want t-to have to share him." Richard looked down, seeming to find the ground infinitely fascinating. "W-w-well..." He started uncertainly. " F-f-f-for one thing... a while b-b-back, before I c-c-came here, p-p-p-p-people dis-disappeared when t-t-they visited. " Richard shuddered. "An-and I know f-f-for a fact that th-there are a l-l-lot of things hi-hidden here, in the m-m-manor. J-j-just the other n-night, something s-s-strange happened. I don't know.. I don't know exactly what it w-w-was, b-b-because I r-ran from it." "well all of that is quite interesting Richard"I say smiling at him."Tell me,do you have any kind of idea,of what it is."I say to him curious."Maybe we should explore sometime..."I mutter to myself looking up at the big manor. Richard thought for a moment, and then shuddered violently and visibly. "S-s-s-sounded l-like many.. many sc-scuttling legs." He squeaked. "Th-the corridor r-r-r-rattled, and the m-mirror I was c-c-c-c-c-cleaning thudded against.. against the w-wall." "I see."I say to him."Well,lets forget about all of this for now and go inside.Would you like to get a bite to eat with me Richard?"I ask him softly,smiling at him. Richard shook off the fear the memory gave him mentally. "S-s-s-sure..." He said doubtfully. He didn't know what demons ate.. he only hoped it was normal things.
