"Oh yes, I do enjoy your performance. It was well entertaining, especially the story of the Heroes." Isadora replied. "It reminds me of the Legendary Eight Heroes back from home. Although, there were some key points that were different from what you've told."
When Ganon approached her and gave her a smile. A blush crept across her face. Never had she ever been flattered by an entertainer before, especially one from a different race. "W-Well, as you know, I'm a paladin. It's my duty to protect and serve the country. I'm also a crew member of the FEF. Therefore, it's my duty to make sure that the guild runs smoothly and to help make the event runs properly and entertain for the members. I guess you can say I help run the entertain backstage while the entertainers entertain the guess."
This was awkward coming from a paladin. Talking about the same department with the entertainer. Surely, Ganon would know more about how to entertain the crowd than she did. Smiled meekly, Isadora spoke. "After hearing your performance, have you ever thought of giving your performance in our event?"

"Oh don't gimme that look, please. WHY DO YOU GOTTA BE SO CUTE??" cursing in the back of his mind he slowly turned to the vendor with a somewhat smile on his face. "One strawberry ice cream on a cone if you will" The man gave him a thumbs up. He handed Ephraim a cone that had two scoops on it with a small napkin wrapped around the cone.
"Enjoy!"
Ephraim nodded in a polite gesture and handed the cone to the little girl. "Don't eat it too fast now".

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti smiled slightly, noticing that Kyros finally noticed her presence. Her mouth opened to speak, but before she could say a word she was in Kyros' arms. She let out a small, pathetic squeak, startled by the sudden transition from her feet being on the ground to having her feet up in the air. "K-Kyros!"
... And up she went, up on his shoulders. A small shriek escaped her lips. What the heck was he doing?! She crossed her arms across her chest, sighing; arguing with Kyros would have been pointless at this point for she was already up, but she hated being treated like a child! Sure, she was smaller and younger than the rest, but that doesn't mean that she could be treated like a little kid! She wasn't a kid!
The valkyrie struggled to keep balance as Kyros knelt next to Amelia, talking to her and a moment later picking her up. She blinked. How could he even feel comfortable hugging and carrying random people on the streets?! It made no sense to her. Still, she offered a small, friendly smile to Amelia. Maybe they could become friends...?
That smile faded with the mentioning of a certain name: Teifi. Teifi... ah, yes. Teifi. Her eyebrow twitched slightly with annoyance. The valkyrie didn't really like Teifi much... Meaning that she really, really hated her guts. Jyoti tried her best to keep a smile on her face and not betray her massive irritation.¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Alihi chuckled softly, watching Ephraim pay for the ice cream. Amara really had Ephraim in the palm of her little hand... Then again... The tactician thought, watching Amara take a lick of the ice cream cone, some droplets of the dessert already sticking to her face. ... I'm in the palm of her hand as well.
"Mmm~" Amara nodded in approval, devouring the frozen treat lick by little lick. A few minutes later, it was already half gone. She grinned happily at Ephraim and Alihi. "It's really good!"

Break me, shake me, hate me... But when the madness stops, you'll be alone.→τειғι← ◣ ♪ I can't feel nothing at all... ♪ ◥ You've confused me in a way that I've never known... With a swoosh and a sweep, Kyros had the squeaking blond valkyrie up in the air in a heartbeat- had she less of a heart, she would have laughed. Teifi settled with a cautious smile and kept her expression free from the distrust that marred her vision of the blond girl that now straddled Kyros's shoulders. Though the girl crossed her arms and looked quite the image of the spoiled child, Teifi felt no pity or remorse for the girl, instead turning her attention to the blonde girl who was getting crushed by his strength and affectionate nature.
She raised a brow when he turned to her.
"Are you sure I'm not the one who found y--?!" Her slightly sarcastic comment (though endearing, nonetheless) was quickly cut off when he scooped her up, hugging her quickly and almost squeezing all the air out of her before, just as suddenly as it began, Kyros released her from the vicegrip hug and smiled. At least he had the decency to look sheepish for at least a split second before his grin became all cheery and excited again. She couldn't help but smile back- such mirth was contagious!
"I can see that, dear." Letting her laughter out and turning to the raven that descended before them, Teifi paid no mind to the fancy flourish of his wings or his smooth touchdown, focusing first on fixing his collar. It figured that the young man wouldn't even focus on looking decent! As she listened to him talk in an absolutely filthy and suggestive manner to the poor woman, the dancer's brow creased with displeasure. Tugging his collar to get his attention, she caught his eyes with hers for a moment with a slight pout.
"Castello, be nice! You be careful where you're going, now. Come back in time for lunch, dear!" Letting him walk off, she worriedly noticed that he looked a bit too taken by all the shiny things that littered the fairgrounds. She'd have to make sure that he only had his things at the end of the day, her darling little thief...
"Don't mind Castello, Amelia. He says such rude things sometimes. My name is Teifi. Apologies if Kyros squeezed you too tight. He does that." Giving him an affectionate pat on the arm to let him know she was saying that in jest, she made a little turning motion with her fingers, as if to tell Amelia to turn around a few times.
"You're not hurt, are you? He goes overboard, sometimes."
Looking over her shoulder to Oujay, who looked like he'd rather hide than speak, Teifi gave him a quick glance before a smile broke over her face. Why, another young one! And still shy. It was good to see that young ones weren't all brazen and drunk, these days.
"Oh? And who is this? A friend of yours?"۞ You just keep me contemplating that your sσuℓ is _slowly _fading... ۞

Something here is definitely not right...someone from Impersus, and this person has great strength...I should keep an eye open. For it may be someone I know. Looking around, Ziaram did feel a sense of nervousness. "Can this be a good omen?"

Amelia would have laced her fingers together, but she had to hold onto her spear, so she simply put her hands in front of her, holding the lance lengthwise against her shoulder. No need to turn and gash someone in the waist. She looked over to the side at a rather familiar voice, spotting a blue-haired boy she remembered (at the very least) from the incident at Easter. "Oujay? Are you, um, enjoying yourself?" she asked, smiling sheepishly. Yes, meet my new friends, they decided on it, Amelia thought as the one named Jyoti squealed. Amelia looked over to her, offering a small smile back. Things were getting really hectic over here, they were; her head was starting to spin.
Even dealing with the Captains and everyone else in the Watch is a little easier than keeping up with these people...
She found herself concentrating on the appearances of all of these people as the dancer chattered away with her comrades. She was certainly a graceful one, even keeping the pretty visage while having her ribcage crushed under one of Kyros' massive arms. He certainly was a large man, and with the spiked shoulderpads, torn cape, and X-shaped scar across his face (reminding Amelia of the similar scar curving from her collarbone, between her breasts, and down to the bottom of her ribcage), he should have been intimidating, but with that laughter and the way he handled the blonde Jyoti... he seemed more like a very endearing father.
With a very large axe.
The blonde herself... seemed rather childish. It was hard to tell anything about her beyond that. But she seemed nice enough. And the raven (Castello, was it?) at least seemed friendly, if not a little awkward. She realized around then that Teifi was speaking, and to her, no less.
"Don't mind Castello, Amelia. He says such rude things sometimes. My name is Teifi. Apologies if Kyros squeezed you too tight. He does that. You're not hurt, are you? He goes overboard, sometimes."
Amelia watched her hand move, then slowly began to spin clockwise, feeling her white skirt brush against her thighs with the movements. When she stopped a minute later, she hoped suddenly that Teifi had found everything satisfactory. Nothing hurt, really. It was just her pride, and just a little bit. Really.
Teifi's attention drew over to Oujay, and Amelia smiled a little. Hopefully he wouldn't run off and leave her alone...! "That's Oujay. He's really quiet, so, um, be nice to him, won't you?" Amelia brushed some dust off of her bare leg, just above her knee.

Annis sighed. The battle, somehow, was getting boring. Something seemed to be in the air, a crackling electricity that made her flinch. A few black feathers fell from her wings and spiraled down to the ground, immediately trodden on under heavy boots. She didn't want to sit still, maybe. Watching other people spar made her itch for movement, and her toes curled in her boots as she stood up from her seat.
The dagger boy, now wielding a bow, was probably going to win anyway. She pinned experience on him, and if not that, pure common sense. The brunette with the axe was reacting well, and he was holding his own, but Annis would have bet a week's pay in any job that the blondie would take the win and the cash. Annis stepped onto the stone wall nearby, spread her wings, and lifted off into the air.
Those ground-locked beorc are really missing out, Annis thought with a long breath out, arms held loosely to her sides. Her wings cleaved at the air as she spun around twice, then plunged up, enjoying the feel of the wind on her face and combing through her hair, shorter at the back than the front. This was more fun than watching other people fight, definitely.

" Maybe that's the reason why" "You can't ever fly..." Cαsτειιo "Take away the blue..." ______________ Castello gacked as his collar was tugged about, grabbing his amulet so it wouldn't end up swinging into his shirt and being all cold against his skin. The amulet was extremely unusual; black and triangular, it sported a large red jewel in the center, which was carved with a symbol that appeared to be two intricate 'L's forming a rectangle with two broken corners. "Yes, mom, he sighed, walking a bit off before spreading his wings and lifting smoothly into the air.
He was, it must be said, quite surprised to find another raven in his flight path. He flared his wings and stopped in mid-air, flapping slowly to keep himself aloft. "Well! We have laguz here in Learania, now! Aside from me, that is. Incredible... things have really changed." He swung his head a bit to get his hair out of his eyes, then flashed a smile that could win awards. "Hello there, little lady. I'm Castello." He moved a bit closer as he reached up and smoothly ran his fingers through his jet-black hair. "And what should I call you?"

Definitely missing out, Annis decided as she swooped around a tall pole where streamers had been wrapped, narrowly avoiding slicing through any of them. Enough practice flying and you could show off pretty well, Annis decided as she looped once. She did it for the sheer thrill, though, being able to plunge down, then swoop right back up before you so much as grazed the ground with a single hair or thread of fabric.
There really weren't a lot of laguz around Learania, she realized. Most people with wings around here seemed to be manaketes from Elibe or Magvel, or in the case of that dragon lady, they were from some other country entirely. Or if they were a laguz, like herself, they were probably a hawk. She had seen no herons at all in Learania (which wasn't surprising, considering what had happened to them just before she actually arrived here), and little to no ravens.
So imagine her surprise when she found one slowing to a halt before her. Huh.
Annis beat her wings rapidly and cleaved evenly at the air to hold herself in place, pushing windswept bangs away from her green eyes. "Well! We have laguz here in Learania, now! Aside from me, that is. Incredible... things have really changed."
"I'm sure they have," Annis replied smoothly. She watched him whip his head to the side (Trying to advertise some sort of hair-care product, are we?), though the sardonic expression on her face softened to a more genuinely friendly look as he grinned at her. "Hello there, little lady. I'm Castello. And what should I call you?"
"Mm... well, because you told me your name," Annis decided, folding her arms under her chest, one eyebrow rising. The corners of her lips twitched into a derisive smile, eyes more than a little curious. He didn't seem like a boring man, at least. Nice abs. "It's Annis, if you're that interested."

Sue noticed the newcomers approach Amelia, and decided that she too would give her greeting. She recognized the names from Ganon's tales... but there were at least 10 girls named Hanon in the Kutolah tribe alone. People loved naming their children after Heroes. Those people certainly couldn't be alive in any way shape or form.
"I am Sue of the Kutolah tribe... daughter of Rath, a crewmember..." The nomad trooper introduced herself politely.

Suisho Tomoe She could hear him following her. Half of her wanted him to go away, to be let alone. The other half--the stronger half--wanted to be with him. Then he spoke, the sound of his voice causing her to stop, if only so she could listen to it.
My son, she thought, the words unfamiliar, unused, but right. He's exactly like his father.
The last time she'd seen him before coming to Learania . . . he'd been so little then. Not even four years old. She'd just up and disappeared as far as anyone in Elibe knew. She never got to see him grow up, never got to see--
Abruptly she stopped that train of thought before it got even more painful.
"Heh. I'm sorry," she apologized. "I'm being foolish." She turned, looking at his face, really looking. Yes, she'd seen him here before, but she'd never really seen him. He'd grown up so much. He looked so much like his father.
She smiled softly, only a small smile. "You're right; we haven't spent much time together. I'm sorry. I haven't really . . . been myself lately." Cautiously she approached him, then gently wrapped her arms around him in an embrace. "Thank you, Roy." Roy, at first, wasn't expecting her to say much. Just a curt nod and go on her way, just to pretend she had heard him. But he was surprised when she stopped to actually listen to what he had to say. Ninian had then turned to look at him. He blushed slightly, then tilted his head to the side.
"Why are you apologizing?" he asked curiously.
He then noticed that she wasn't just looking at him to look. She was actually looking at him, finally recognizing him as her son. He rubbed the back of his head. She would probably be thinking he looked so much like Father and nothing like her.
He was then surprised when she smiled at him. It was a small smile, but a smile nonetheless. She was apologizing again, this time for not spending time with her son that she hadn't seen in years. He looked into her soft red eyes, and determined that she was being honest. Both to herself, and to him.
She had then approached him, and hugged him. Roy was at a loss of words for a moment. This was...the first hug he had ever gotten from his mother that he could remember. He would treasure this moment. The young redhead wrapped his arms around Ninian and embraced her back. "You're welcome...and...thank you, Mother..." he said softly, fighting back the tears of joy.

Jin, meanwhile, was busy conversing in the stands about the outcome of this fight with several other men, not realizing that his companions had gone about their separate ways.
"I'm telling you, heavy cavalry versus a bowman. Not going to happen," an elderly chap argued. "They're so fast that even in the open, an archer's not going to get more than one shot. Two maybe, if you're a good sniper, but there's so much armor and so little flesh to target. You miss both shots, you're done."
"I disagree," Jin replied. "Look at the sniper's movements. He's using the pillar cover to his advantage. He's trying to disorient his opponent, making him pause long enough to deliver a decisive shot."
"Sniper versus cavalry? Hah, Shinon would have some things to say about that," a familiar voice said lightly.
"Shinon? Who's Shino--" Jin turned around.
"Nice mask," Rhys said, nodding in approval. Then he frowned. "You're not here alone, are you?"
Yes, Rhys had finally finished his duties and was now looking around the festival. It was clear he'd already been to the food stalls, what with half a chicken kabob in his right hand.
Since Easter, Rhys had added a few changes to his persona--his usual teal cloth belt now had various brightly-colored orbs attached by newly-sewn belt loops. He'd noticed Renault's idea of using multiple gems for just one staff, and had decided to steal the Saint's idea for his own use. Second (and not noticeable right now), he'd switched to the Elibe/Magvel books of light magic--an Elibe Lightning was FAR more efficient than a Tellius Light (what idiot just stood around WAITING for Light to fall down from the sky?).
Lastly, there were fewer occasions when he was out of breath after making his rounds--all the walking was making him physically stronger.
"Err, no," Jin replied, now scanning the crowd for his companions. "At least, I wasn't until a short time ago... hey, where are you--"
Jin followed Rhys' gaze to what appeared to be a HUGE warrior standing not too far away from the arena. Impossible to miss, even if you didn't want to look at him--and right next to him were two blonde women, one of whom looked familiar indeed...
Oh. Jin thought as he followed Rhys in Kyros' direction. Well, that was the easiest game of "Where's Waldo" I've ever played.

Oujay looked Teifi as she smiled at him. He took one step back. Oujay was not really into meeting strangers. "Umm Hi," he said to Teifi as he was trying to be polite. He moved his other foot back so they would be next to each other and so he would be standing up straight.
He turned towards Amelia and nodded. "Yes, I guess I'm having a good time," he said. In a way, these people do scare Oujay, but then what stranger wouldn't, but he will persevere. He bowed slightly towards Teifi as he was being polite. "My name is Oujay," he said as he introduced himself.
Oujay had always thought of people being better and a higher rank of status than him. That's because he was born in a poor family back in Ilia, his homeland.
When he heard Amelia say, "That's Oujay. He's really quiet, so, um, be nice to him, won't you?" to them, he got a little bit even more scared than he was. Oujay interpreted as if they were mean people who might mess with him. Suddenly he had the feeling of leaving Amelia to have fun with her friend, but he couldn't. Even if he wanted to, his legs wouldn't move for some reason.
"Calm down Oujay," he thought to himself as he knew his body was getting a bit scared. After a few seconds he was able to move his feet again. He didn't know why his body was acting so scared though. He usually doesn't react that bad with strangers. "Maybe these guys are different," he thought as he thought they are possibly different from the rest of the people around here. However, Oujay thought the theory he thought of was just random non-sense and there fore, he just forgot about it.
Next thing he knew, Sue came up to greet the new people also. Sue was someone Oujay knew, since they have known each other all the way back to the times when Zephiel revived the Dark Dragon. They both joined Roy's army during that time. "Hi Sue," he said calmly as he was able to speak to her fine. It was just strangers that he had a hard time talking to because of his shyness. "Are you having fun?" he asked.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...... A petal, claimed by a gentle wind, floats away... ☼ JYOTI ☼ ¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤Jyoti nodded her head slightly for really no reason, uncrossing her arms and relaxing a bit. It was clear that she wasn't going to put back on the ground anytime soon. Violet eyes wandered a bit, watching the people pass by, mingle, eat, or play. It was all very comforting and terrifying at the same time for the young valkyrie. A hand raised to her chest, clenching tightly by her collarbone. One could easily disappear in a crowd like this, rather he or she willed it or not. She sighed softly, though was hard to tell over all of the noise. Jyoti listened carefully to the people nearby, already committing their names and some of their characteristics to memory.
Blonde girl with lance... Amelia. Green haired girl with headband, who is in relation to someone named Rath... Sue. Shy and nervous blue haired boy... Oujay. Got it.
After Oujay introduced himself, she relaxed and scratched the back of her head nervously, realizing she forgot to do something. Oops. "I'm sorry, I haven't been very polite, have I?" The valkyrie laughed sheepishly, glancing side to side before staring down at Amelia, Oujay, and Sue. She didn't mean to stare down at them, but from her position, she kind of had to. "Please, forgive me. My name's Jyoti..." She gave them a small smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you all."¤▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬¤... Detached from its home, destined to wither and die alone in an unknown land.
