His jaw dropped slightly when he caught sight of her; she radiant, she was beautiful, and she was smiling... at him. He was still confused as to why she would like him at all. He smiled back widely at her, all anxiety subsided as she came down closer to him. He stood by the stairs, offering his arm out for Nastara to take when she reached him. "Good morning, Lady Nastara." He was beaming happily at her, forgetting the other illumens in the room.

A slow blush tinted her cheeks at the sound of his voice. " Good morning to you as well Asher." Gently she placed her paw on top of his while he helped her down the final step. She stood there frozen then, holding his paw and falling into his eyes.
The other Illumen and Em had followed Luna out, and were now standing in a half circle watching Asher and Nastara and smiling.

It took Asher a few moments to rememeber the others, which made him blush as he reluctantly looked away from Nastara, letting her paw down gently. "Well, it was nice... chatting with you all, but I do believe we should get going, if Nastara is ready." The end of his dialogue was more of a question to Nastara, making sure there wasn't anything else she needed to do before they left.

Nastara nodded that she was ready, and led the way to the door, pausing before it to allow Asher to open it. Turning back she waved a paw at her assmebled family, politely ignoring their smirks and choosing not to respond to their alteration of the plan.

Without hesitation, Asher opened the door up for Nastara and threw one last polite smile at her family before following her out the door. "Well, then," he said as they started on their way after having decided not to mention what her family brought up, "shall I tell you now where we're going or should it be even moreso a surprise by you not figuring it out until we arrive?" He was fully smiling, looking at her as they walked. It was still a beautiful day, which worked out perfectly for what he had in mind.

She shrugged gracefully, " thats up to you, but you seem to be enjoying keeping me in suspense, so I'm fine with waiting to guess." As she walked she tilted her face to the sun, enjoying the slight breeze that passed and carried the scent of her roses to Asher. "Its so pretty today, and I get to be with you, I can't imagine how this could get any better!" She said, beginning to get excited.

Asher chuckled lightly. "Yes, I must admit having a little control over the possibilty of surprising you is enjoyable... hopefully you shall enjoy the surprise." His eyes sparkled as he smelled the roses when he breathed in, and he remained mostly silent as they went on the fairly short one-mile walk into the city. It was, overall, a good city without horrendous crime, but he walked a little closer to her anyway. After a block or so, they came across a large, wrought-iron fence surrounding a green area with a couple of large entrance ways. Various flowers traveled up and along the fence, tended to carefully for the public.. In the middle of the two entryways was "Botanical Gardens" embossed elegantly on a plaque. He paused at the nearest gate, turning to her to see if she liked his choice of venue and hoping she would.

Beaming at him she continued beside him, content to let him lead. She smiled to herself as they neared the city and he become more protective. Nastara delighted in the way they would brush against one another as they walked. So distracted by this was she that at first she didn't notice Asher stopping, but rather noticed the smell. Sniffing curiously she turned towards the heavenly scent, and thats when she saw the sign and her face lit up. " A garden! Oh my! How sweet and romantic!" Delighted, she kissed Asher quickly on the cheek.

At her kiss, he wanted nothing more but to fall over in a daze. She likes it!!! She really does! Supremely happy, he replied to her, "I'm glad you like the idea!!! Well now, I don't know if you've been in here before, but we can walk around outside, or explore the various stuff they have inside that little building..." He gestured at something that resembled the ground level of a good library, well-planted with aged copper accents and plenty of windows, providing a peek at the many sorts of vegetation inside. "There's also a pond out back, I believe, although I haven't been to that spot in a while."

Smiling wide she looked back at the gates. Do we have time to do it all? I've never been here, and it all sounds so wonderful! In spite of her usual lady-like countenace Nastara was nearly bouncing with excitement more befitting to a kit than a grown Illumen.

Asher smiled at her. "We may not have enough time today... but I'd be more than willing to come back some other time with you, if you enjoy it here. Is there anything specifically you'd like to see first today?"

"Awww," her face fell at hearing their might not be enough time today, but brightened that they could come back. " Maybe we should explore the outside today since the weather is so perfect, and save the building for another day." She pondered his question for a moment. " I think the first thing I'd like to see is their roses....." She trailed off looking at him.

He beamed at her first request. "I'm positive that none of them are nearly as beautiful as you, but I know where they are at. Follow me?" he inquired of her gleefully, still not quite over the fact that he had a good idea and that she liked it. As he led her through the meandering path, the passed the freshly-bloomed chrysanthemums, black-eyed susans, multiple types of verbena, petunias that matched the color of Nastara's eyes almost perfectly, brilliantly vibrant cosmos, and various oriental hybrids that added to the landscape. It wasn't the largest Botanical Gardens, only a few dozen acres, but it was pretty good for being in such a small city, surrounded by buildings.

Nastara went a bit bashful at his compliment and softly murmured a "thank you" before following him through the gates. Quickly she began exclaiming over the flowers, darting from one side of the path to the other to see everything. Despite having said she wanted to see the roses first, nearly every new type of flower they passed Nastara had to stop to invesitgate. Her enthusiasm appeared boundless as she read the plaques about the flowers out loud. Her dainty little nose was constantly twitching at all the delightful floral scents.

Asher watched her wander back and forth happily, smiling each time she became excited over each flower. After walking through a large bed filled with a LOT of tulips of various colors and sizes, they were suddenly surrounded by roses; there were bushes, trellises for the climbing ones, and dozens upon dozens upond dozens planted. He watched Nastara to gauge her reaction to the mass amount of blooms.
