 Jenna stared at him in shock. "You smoke?!" she quickly reached over and took them from him and pushed herself away from him so he couldn't take them back as easily. "How long have you smoked?" she opend the box and looked inside to see how many were missing.

Chance laughed a bit and looked at her moving so he was fully facing her.
"well I dont smoke consistantly or anything, just off and on when I need to relax"
he said then looked down acting as if he didnt hear her other question about how long. He looked up at her and smiled knowing he probably wouldnt get them back from her. It was exactly what he expected would happen.

"Ok but how long!" she stared at him waiting to answer. She couldn't believe it, he smoked, and really she shouldn't care if he smoked but for some reason she did. She stood up and took some steps back "I'll throw them in the water if you don't tell me." she stared at him not even blinking, being serious now.

Chance looked down and scratched his head, well he wouldnt be to upset even if she did cause he could always get another pack, yet again he didnt want to make her more upset then she already seemed. He stood up facing her and smiled.
"you mean when I first inhaled? or when I actually got kicked out of a building cause it was raining outside and my friend smacked me and she left town for a week so I was smoking inside, or maybe when I picked it back up after being clean for about a year?"
he said looking at her now his eyes showed he wasnt lying about what he had said.

"All of it, all together, how many?" She quickly drank the rest of her beer and threw it down in the sand. She heard the part about him already being clean for a year... so how bad was it? Did he even know about what it could do to him?

Chance walked over to her and sat his hands on her shoulders.
"calm down"
he said and made sure he could tell she was paying attention.
"I first had a ciggarette at age of 17 two weeks before my 18th birthday. The week after I got in that fight with my parents. I smoked for a while and well that was when me and Kaylee still kept in touch. I quit when she found out I had started. I was doing real good, I hadnt picked up a ciggerrate for almost a year. Then when Kaylee's parents got ahold of me they royal chewed me out for even talking to Kaylee...well I started again, just once then a few months later again. I only have a ciggerate every so often like I said, and I know theres no reason for me to but it takes the edge off. So sorry if I offended you or anything, but throw them into the lake, I've lived without them before. I just need a distraction from reality half the time. And ciggerates were my way out"
he said and hugged her feeling a bit relieved he had told someone else. he took another swig of his beer as he let her out of the hug.

It was about four years since he started, subtract one year put him at three. "Three years..." she whisperd. She looked up at him and then took his hand placing the pack in it. She was over reacting, she thought to herself, she seemed to do it alot. Jenna slowly walked back over and grabbed another beer, opening it, then drinking as much as she could, trying to finish it all in one drink, but when she looked at it she had about an inch left. It burned in her mouth, and she could feel it settling in her stomach.

Chance took the pack and stuffed it in his sweatshirt pocket walking back over to her and noticed her drinking again. Was this normal for her? if it was it wasnt a good thing, she was a minor. Also he couldnt have her going home drunk. And with the way she'd been drinking she would possibly be there if she drank all to much more. he sat behind her so she was practicly in his lap.
"hey hun, you cant be drinking all that at once"
he said and took the bottle from her.
"Sorry if I stress you out, I dont try to stress people out, but you cant be going home all drunk, so I may have to ask you to stay a while, and you know what I promise not to smoke when your here, I'll even let you hold on to my ciggerates while your here"
he said trying to convince her to stop drinking and to stay long enough to sober a bit. Maybe some mouth wash before she went home would help. If she didnt take his advice then he suposed he would have to take her home, but they would have to walk. He wasnt letting her or himself drive, the one thing he didnt like at all, driving after drinking no matter how much.

Felix placed his bloodied arm by her lips again. "Take what you like form me. the blood will ease the pain." He said to her gently in her ear. He held her close with his other arm letting both her arms move freely to do as she pleased with them.

Tasha held his arm that was around her with one of hers, she liked how he held her. It made her feel safe. With the other hand she held his other hand and drank some more of his blood, a few random splurts of blood rolled lightly down her fragile skin. She leaned her head back on his chest pausing for a moment from drinking more.
"Why do you do this?"
she asked as the thought had just occuried in her mind, also the thought of how odd it would look if someone ended up finding them right at the moment. If he were a vampire did anyone else know. Now that she's a vampire what would happen to her. She thought this all in a few moments and then almost had forgotten her question she actually asked.

"Two reasons. I lived alone for too long, i want some freinds and maybe if im lucky i might find love. but my other reason. This city is mine by rights. the Slayers killed my entire clan. only i survived and i want to try and take it back." He said gently. "But im not to bothered about the land right now, im enjoying myself here with you." He said and smiled pleasantly at her. "it is taking effect, you look more beauitful thatn i thought possible. i though you already looked stunning. How are your fangs."

Jenna gasped when he took the bottle from her. Then she tilted her head back "Come on, give it back. Im almost done with it anyway." Her speach was already lightly slurred. "It's my last one."

Chance looked at her with a straight face attempting to be as serious as possible.
"no"
he said and dumped the bottle out in the sand.
"You shouldn't be drinking, your voice is already slurring."
he said and looked at her again a bit more kindness in his eyes.

Tasha looked at him a bit suprised. She looked at him again and smiled, so he did think she was cute before she thought to herself.
"well your not to shaggy yourself"
she said and grinned at him a bit reveal her new fangs.

Jenna's mouth fell open when he dumped the rest of the beer in the sand. "That was so not fair! I gave you your stupid cigarettes back." She quickly crawled over to the last two bottles of beer and grabbed one, popping it open and drinking it as fast as she could before he tried to take it away from her again.
