Eclipse frowned. "The sign says we have fallen into the sea, but it's okay." He told Cronous. "The Sea? What fun...so much Chaos...I love."

"We built a lighthouse on the beach for Dayht and me. Not there is another one." Apollo told his mother of what he had been doing.

***

Waikiki KiKi smiled back to Zuri. She then heard the sound and looked around. That was awfully odd... Still, it was an odd day to say the least. "It's okay, I'm fine. I think I'll just watch you for a bit." She wanted to think and just watch him. He seemed so much happier now.

***

((I'm sorry about that Faye.))

Hula Bob looked to her and nodded. "I guess that would make sense." He was just not so sure about it. "Maybe I could patch this up for now. And then move when I'm ready?" He thought that might be the best idea for a little while. It wouldn't be the end all fix, but it would buy some time for the demon to get his barrings and figure out what he truly wanted.

Waikiki Kiki wanted to watch him? He didn't know if he found that weird or if he liked that someone would want to watch his beautiful self float in the beautiful, fresh waters over Tuatha'Ri Lake. ...Wait. Of course he liked it. It fed his vanity; someone wanted to watch him in the water. "Alright, if you're sure. But the water's fine, if you ever want to swim out here!"

The naiad was definitely much happier at this point; denying that would be foolish. Zuri Seabrook closed his eyes to the world and went back to humming to himself, enjoying the feeling of the water flowing all around and underneath his body. Nothing was better than feeling at home in Tuatha'Ri. As much as Zuri did like exploring the Isle, he also loved coming back to the place he called home.

Ivy had become consumed by the information the trees had told her and she didn't hesitate to fly off toward the tree. "It's so beautiful." She said as she flew, she didn't even realize she had left her daughter-in-law and Aleara behind with no explanations.

Aspen piked up Melek and ran him over to the girls. "You two alright. What is with that noise?" It sounded like the Isle was coming apart, but he could tell it wasn't. He then noticed his mom was gone. "Where'd mom go?"

***

Cinna started at the acorn as it hatched. "That's odd." She knew she came from a plush toy so she really wasn't one to talk. "I'm a grandparent?" She hadn't actually thought she was a mom yet. The little naiad acted more her boss than her child. Cinna just got confused over the whole situation.

***

"I thought it was cute." He liked the curse she came up with, "It's fits you." She didn't seem the type to get angry or say anything worse than what she had. He turned back to the ravine. "I don't know? The stream...but that would have taken much longer."

***

Noel jogged with her glad to have a destination. She wasn't sure what the sound was, but she wanted to get away from it. "I'm glad we have a place to be." She didn't want to say hide, but that was what she wanted to do.

"Eep!" Pastela's cheeks turned a bright red, then she laughed and rubbed the back of her head. "Well, I guess being cute is what I'm good at after all..." Her attention was then turned back to the topic of the ravine. "Yeah... it seems impossible to have happened just over night like this.... I wonder what else could have changed while we were asleep during the night...."

The noise got close to the group with Faroth. Then it stopped short. Right in front of Faroth a rustling was heard. First glance he could see a staff parting the tree limbs and then out stepped a faun. One like no other. An adult with antlers that shined. The adult male stepped in front of Faroth.

"What have you done, Faroth?" The voice was angry, yet gentle, like a father chiding his son. He knelt done in front of the child. "The acorns have gotten onto the isle, they have hatched it seems. Fauns are back on the isle." It was a statement more than anything else. Rais, as that was this faun's name, was not happy. He didn't like being away from the life-giving tree and he didn't like his fauns away from it either.

Woobie saw her turn red and laughed with her. "Nothing wrong with being cute." He shook his head, "I'm not sure. Should we keep walking, or should we fly to cover more ground?" He wasn't sure what else they would see.

Pastela bit her lip, thinking over the options, before speaking again. "I think that we should keep walking, Woobie.... if the ground could change this fast so quickly, then it's only logical to think that the skies and winds could change equally as fast...."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 03, 2009 3:05 pm

Logical? That was not Woobie's strong point. "Well, that seems like a good plan. I'm glad you are with me. Who knows what I would do without someone to think more logically." He laughed and then started to walk next to the ravine.

Hiding sounded like a good idea to Aysu. She didn't call herself a coward by any means, but really, she wanted to go some place with shelter and where, perhaps, a million decibel sound wouldn't resound in her ears from a million and one directions. Whatever could make that kind of noise certainly had to have some kind of frightening ability that would hurt them in some way if he was provoked.

The naiad kept jogging until she reached the currently abandoned and familiar household towards the edge of the beach. With a sigh of relief, Aysu went up to the door and pushed it open, before moving aside to let Noel in first. Once she got in, Aysu immediately darted inside and slammed the door shut behind her, attempting to lock it shut somehow before just deciding to shove a chair in front of it.

"And if anyone asks, we're totally not hiding." Aysu insisted, albeit sheepishly.

------------

Luckily for Criofan, it wasn't long before he stopped hearing the frightened child's running; it seemed whatever was coming for him quickly cut him off. Therefore, the leprechaun slowed his pace, deciding to slink through the bushes unnoticed so he could see what was going on and satiate his own--and Texas'--curiosity.

He had to stop his jaw from dropping to the floor when he saw what emerged from the foliage. What was that thing? It looked like a full-grown version of whatever Faroth was; apparently there was more than just Faroth and the giant acorn Texas was lugging around. The man seemed like a father figure of sorts, perhaps some kind of leader. And he was a well-kempt leader at that! Criofan had to admit the man was impressive.

...So they were Fauns? At least he had a name for them now. But what did he mean by 'back on the Isle?' Criofan kept himself as quiet as possible, wanting to see as much as possible and not get spotted.

And luckily, Criofan had luck on his side for this game.

In the meantime, Magnus was staring strangely at the acorn Texas was holding. "So Texy, you're officially a father. Congratulations."

Texas sat down with the acorn, watching as more and more of it cracked apart. He was starting to see parts of the child now; a streak of white hair, blue ... was that fur? A hoof. The demonic couldn't help wondering what this child would look like, or what it would grow into since he had never seen anything like it before. Admittedly, he was already acting like a parent, the way he was coddling the eye. It made Magnus a little sick, but who was he to ruin Texas' fun?

The demonic watched as the top of the acorn broke off, and he saw two purple eyes looking back up at him. The little--whatever it was, Texas hadn't figured that part out yet--squirmed out of the rest of the acorn, shrugging it off. And then Texas was holding a little blue something instead of a ridiculously large blue acorn.

Now what was he going to call the child?

"Thanks." KiKi giggled as she watched him swim. She just needed a break. She wanted to think about how the new ocean affected her and her family. Seeing it she loved it, but she was torn as her only friend didn't like it at all. Did she blame him? Of course not. Who could love something that burned and hurt them?

Coronus looked surprised about hearing the island fell into the sea and that her son and husband knew about it already. Looking around she saw the notices causing her to hit her head with her hand.
"I should have payed more attention to those. Though I am happy to hear you found some one Apollo her name makes me think she is as bright and sunny as you are. And the ocean may be a nice thing to see I have always wanted to see the ocean in the present. We should go there all 3 of us."

Noel followed her into the house and sighed as she felt safe now. "No, of course not!" Noel giggled as she sometimes did when she was nervous. A habit she picked up from her own daughter.

Noel went to Aysu and hugged her close. She had been a bit scared, but always felt safer when Aysu was near. "I feel so safe with you." Noel smiled and laid her head on the naiad's shoulder.

Zuri Seabrook, in the meantime, would relax on the waters. He hummed whatever tunes he would think of, and stared at the sky. In the water, he truly felt happy. After a few minutes, he ducked under the water to submerge himself and to look at the sights. Admittedly, it didn't look like much under the lake had changed, even if almost everything above sea level had.

After a few minutes of that, he came back up and resumed floating and staring at the sky. Perhaps not Waikiki Kiki would feel like joining him, but if she didn't, that was fine too. He liked this whole 'she was watching him' deal anyway.

------------

Aysu kissed Noel's cheek lightly, before wrapping an arm around her. She lead Noel in the living room, where she set down her leaf bag full of seaweed and her other seaweed bag full of shells and rocks. Luckily, nothing had broken while they were flailing back from whatever was going on outside. ...Well, whatever it was, they were safe from it now. This house was a fortress!

Or, at least, Aysu hoped. The naiad then turned towards Noel, deciding to ignore the possibility that her house wasn't a fortress. It was slim anyway; it had been one of the houses to avoid all of the disaster. "Let's go relax in my room, unless you had something else in mind, my lovely Ice Queen."

Kane slowed, slinking through the shadows, his paws silent on the forest floor. He settled for observation for now, intent on satiating his curiosity more than anything else. One thing was for sure...

...this day had been the most interesting day he could remember in a long time now.

Faroth scrabbled to a sudden halt, eyes wide at the sight of Rais emerging from the foliage. The child ended up sprawled awkwardly on his knees, staring up at the imposing adult. Busted.

Done? What had he done? Well, he'd left the tree, yes...is that what the Chieftan meant? "I'm sorry, I know I wasn't supposed to leave. I was gonna' be back soon, promise!" He rambled, all signs of restraint he'd shown earlier with Texas were gone. Obviously, where he'd seen the demon as merely a bigger person to mess with, he viewed Rais as someone with power and authority, someone to be respected.

He pouted a little, balking at the reprimand he'd known was coming. Still, he'd only left for a little while and to rescue...

...wait a minute, acorns? More than one?

While Faroth had expected to get in trouble for leaving the Tree, he'd never imagined that his actions would be misinterpreted as something worse. He hadn't even known about the other acorns! His intention had been to rescue the one before anyone noticed! The tone in his leader's voice carried disappointment as well as anger and after a moment, his words seemed to sink in.

"C-Chieftan, no, it's not like that! I tried to stop it! I didn't know about the others...after the shaking, I saw one fall to the isle. No one else was around and I thought...if I was quick, I could hurry and find it...bring it back before anyone noticed!" His blue eyes were locked on Rais' green orbs as he spoke, but as he slowed, he glanced down at his hands.

"I was too slow. Someone already found it. I didn't even know there were others; I thought it was just one. By the time I found it, they had it and it was already changing." He hesitated before continuing. "...then they found me. I'm sorry, I failed..." He hung his head, disappointed in himself and sure his leader was even more so. He'd tried his best and come up far too short.

Takeko nodded to the demonic female, "Yes, I'm fine, thank yo--" She cut off, her eyes widened at the cracking acorn and the hoof now emerging from a hole in the side. She reached out for her mate as he approached, her eyes still on the acorn as she sank to her knees beside Alaera.

"We're fine, but...I...I don't know, she was here a moment ago," she answered, distracted. As she watched the acorn progress in cracking, all she could manage to say was, "My Guardians...it was an egg..."

Melek continued clinging to Aspen, less interested in the goings on at the moment and more thankful that he wasn't the one in trouble and getting yelled for.

---

Devyn quirked a brow at the question after recovering from the booming noise. "Faroth? Nope, 'fraid not. Or maybe, fortunately not, judging by that noise. Name's Devyn," he offered with a nod, thinking better than to offer a hand after her last reaction.

"Anyway, hurt me? Nah, I'm fine," he answered, still sounding a bit confused about the idea of her hurting him. What? Did she think she squeezed his hand too hard or something? The idea never occurred to him that the wave of dizziness or nausea could have been attributed to the beautiful Fae before him.

As another thought occurred to him, he continued, "Err...and if you see a green snake around here, try not to worry too much. He's mine and wont' hurt you...and his name isn't Faroth either; it's Fang." He chuckled softly, shaking his head. He'd not been the most creative when he was a child in naming the poor creature. Still, the little familiar had set out on his own a while ago and Devyn hadn't seen a scale of him since. Not that he didn't wander from time to time, but he didn't want to scare the pretty female if Fang decided to drop back in unannounced as he did sometimes.
