Haseo sighed softly, running a hand through his hair, still flustered. Hikaru giggled, poking at Haseo's ribs, causing him to twitch. She giggled more. "D-don't... I'm sensitive there," he stammered, moving away from the younger shinigami. She grinned, tilting her head innocently.

"Ne, nee-chan," she started, glancing at Akino, "Can we go to the hot springs? I'm really curious about it...!" Haseo looked at her worriedly, aware of the fact that she had no idea what a hot springs was. He was also aware of the fact that she was literally scared to death of being anywhere near any body of water.

"Hikaru-"

"Ne? Oh, right! You can come too, Nii-Nii! And Ku-ku too!" she chirped, clapping her hands together. Haseo frowned, opening his mouth to speak again. "It's alright, Nii-Nii! Aki-neechan and I can have a girls' night out later; today's bonding time...!"

Hikaru stared at Akino, blinking a few times. After a few moments, she tilted her head to the side, feeling the curiosity well up again. "Why? What do you do in a hot springs?" she asked, scratching her cheek. Haseo pursed his lip.

"Hikaru, a hot springs is a public bath house," he explained. Hikaru furrowed her brow. "It's where people bathe in large pools." Hikaru's eyes widened slightly at what he told her. Her expression became indecisive, even close to fearful.

"So there's... water? Where people can... drown...?" she squeaked quietly. Haseo nodded solemnly. "Err... I don't think I want to go anymore..."
