There was a crash at the door as two students collided. It ended up with one shoving themselves into the class and the other tumbling into the hallway. Kendra happened to be the one slipping past the other students she managed not to hit and entering the classroom. "I'm sorry!" she called out as she turned to look at the leaving class body before turning back towards Logan's desk and sighing.
Her smile returned however when she looked up at him and bounced over. "Hiyas Mr.Sykes~!" she said rather happily, the energy in her voice unmeasurable.

Logan looked up at the sudden noise. His eyebrows arched in question before he saw Kendra. He smiled slightly, holding back a laugh before putting his bag onto his desk. "Well hello Miss Kendra," he said as he zipped his bag up. "I see you're here on time. If you'll give me one moment, we'll be off."
He got to his feet and walked into the small room that divided his and David's classrooms. He disappeared for a moment before returning, shutting the door behind him. He walked over to the front of the class and grabbed his bag. He stood at his desk for a long moment, looking around the classroom before nodding his head and looking back to Kendra. "Alright, let's go," he said.
He walked towards the door and put his hand on the light switch when he was suddenly stopped by the same girl. He jumped slightly, looking down at her with surprise. "Andrea...you're back."
"Are you leaving already?" the girl asked, looking somewhat worriedly up at him. She was rubbing one arm lightly as she waited.
"Um...yes..." he answered, still staring at her.
"Oh....I'm sorry. Is it at all possible that you could stay for just a little while?"
Logan paused. He didn't want to.... He glanced to Kendra very quickly before looking back to the girl. "I kind of need to leave. But...if it's important..."
"Oh, well I suppose it's not that important," she interrupted, her eyes flashing on over to Kendra before looking to Logan again. "I can just ask Mr. Scott."
Logan nodded his head. "Alright, thank you," he said, seeming to move closer to the light switch.
"Thank /you/!" the girl said smiling before skipping off down the hallway.

Kendra stared at the girl, watching her motions. It was familiar to her and a pang of worry set in. She knew those moves, those slight touches of worry. She knew the look of hidden angst, of intense longing within the eye. It made her uneasy. If she said something she'd just look like a jealous girlfriend. Maybe she was, but right now she just didn't want what she had to be ruined.
For now she pushed it from her mind and walked up to Logan's side. "Lets go then?" she said with a smile, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Logan was torn from his previous thoughts and looked down to Kendra. He smiled. "Yeah," he replied, shutting the light off. He walked out the door and shut the door behind them.
They got back home and headed up the stairs. Logan paused when they got to their floor. "Do you have your things ready?" he asked with a small laugh. "I have my stuff in a bag sitting by the door so all I have to do is grab it and we can go."
((I dunno where they live so they're either going on a plane or a train.))

Kendra looked her to feet as her face blushed and she smiled.
"Ah, mines all in the trunk.... All ready."
She laughed slightly.
"I was a tad excited."
.: I don't care? We could just skip to the hotel if you want? You're leadin'. :.

Logan held his own bag in one hand and Kendra's in the other as they walked into the hotel. He had refused to let her carry her own bag. In fact, he had grabbed it and practically ran so she wouldn't try to take it from him.
The hotel was cool, yet still fairly warm compared to the weather outside. Chicago really was the windy city. He shook his hair back in place as they came into the hotel lobby. He glanced around a quick moment before he found the front desk. He walked up to it and set the bags down next to him so he could pull out his wallet.
"Good evening sir," the woman behind the desk greeted.
"Good evening," Logan responded. "I have a reservation for Sykes?"
"One moment please..." the woman said as she began typing on the keyboard in front of her. There was a long moment of silence as the woman's eyes scanned the screen. Her eyebrows drew together before she looked back up to Logan. "I'm...very sorry...but it appears then been some sort of mistake in the system," she explained. "It would appear the room you reserved has been booked."
"Oh..." Logan replied, not entirely sure what to say. "Um...can I get another room then?"
"It looks like the only one we have is a couple's suit. It costs a bit more than the one you booked, but it's a very nice room."
Logan paused for a moment before nodding his head. "Okay, that's fine I guess..."
"Again, I'm very sorry," the woman replied as she typed a bit more. Logan handed her his card when she asked for payment and then she handed them two room cards. "Your room is on the eighth floor. Have a nice stay."

Kendra snuck up to his side and snatched her bag, holding it tight to her chest.
"Eight floor here we come~!" she said rather happily as she darted off towards the elevator, her hair flowing behind her. There was a skip in her step that gave her an over all great atmosphere. There wasn't anything that could ruin it.

Logan picked up his bag, taking the key from the woman. "Thank you," he said as he quickly turned to run after her. He caught up with her shortly before reaching the elevator. He slowed and stopped in front of the door. He waited as the elevator came and he looked at her. "You're a quick one," he said with a slight smile before turning back to the elevator door.
It opened in a moment and a couple stood inside. The woman had a rather irritated look on her face and the man just looked sorry. Neither of them made any movement to get out. "Why did you hit 1?" the woman muttered. "1 is not the same as 11."
Logan stared for a moment before patting Kendra on the back. "After you," he said.

Kendra smiled, looked to Logan, then to the elevator. Interesting. She walked to the back and hid in the corner, still clutching her bag to her chest. She looked to Logan before looking to the woman. "Could you hit the number 8 please?" she asked politely, albeit a tad shy.

Logan followed Kendra into the elevator and stood next to her.
The woman looked at Kendra before looking back to the man. "Sure. /I'll/ do it. You'd press 18 or something...." she said as she reached forward and pressed the 8 button.
"They'll get to their floor before us thanks to you."
The man just stood there, staring out at nothing. He seemed like he desperately wanted to be somewhere else.
Logan stared at them for a minute before turning to Kendra and kissing her forehead. He didn't say anything.
After a few moments of awkward silence, the elevator stopped and the doors opened on their floor. Logan got out and paused waiting for Kendra. As he paused, he heard the woman say "/You/ never kiss me like that."

Kendra stumbled from the elevator and into the hallway, turning to look at Logan. "Oooh.... you made her jealous... tough for him. She seems in a horrid mood. Unlike me. I'm just peachy."
She gave him a smile before looking at the room numbers. Which one was theirs again? The thought of sleeping arrangements crept into her mind again and she had to violently force it away. She wasn't going to worry about that just yet.

Logan smiled as he began walking down the hall towards their room. "You better be," he said. "I'd be very upset if you weren't happy."
He hummed quietly to himself as he eyed the numbers on the wall. He had no idea exactly what it meant to be a couple's suit, though he could guess...He eyed the numbers and it wasn't long before he found their room number. He stopped in front of the door and took the key card and swiped it in the door. The little light turned green and he placed his hand on the handle. He pressed it down and swung the door open. He peered inside as he did so.
The sight that greeted him was like out of a movie. There was, in the middle of the room, one of the biggest, comfiest looking bed he had ever seen. It was covered in lacy pillows with rose petals scattered over top of it. At the foot of the bed was a table tat held a large bowl filled with ice and a bottle of champagne. Unknown to him, there was a jacuzzi-style bathtub in the bathroom.
Logan stood in the doorway and stared. "Well..." was the only word that he uttered.

Kendra stopped dead behind Logan as she too saw the room. Her face grew warm as she flushed deeply, taking a step closer as she leaned against Logan's back.
"Well indeed. That's one comfy looking bed.... I'll take the floor?"
Her lips curled into a smile as she kissed him on the cheek and walked around him.
She placed her things on the floor and made her way to the bathroom where she was quick to notice the bath.
"Hells yhea! A jacuzzi bath!"

Logan turned to look at Kendra, a quick look of surprise coming to his face for a moment. "No, if anyone is taking the floor, it'll be me," he said, wondering if he should continue with his thought. "Though the bed looks big enough to host about five different people." So he did. Perhaps he shouldn't have. He wondered right after the words had escaped his lips whether or not that was an...appropriate thing to say.
Either way...he put his bag down as he walked farther into the room, the door shutting behind him. He looked around, walking over to the bottle of champagne. "And you're not old enough to drink...." he muttered, eying the two glasses that sat on the table.
He looked up at the sound of her voice from the bathroom. 'Sure...this suit would be lovely for an older couple. One that didn't consist of a teacher and his underage student...' He mentally slapped himself for the thought. Well, this definitely not turning out how he had thought. But hey, it could still turn out well. The room didn't really matter that much. They would be spending more time outside of it anyway.

Kendra poked her head out from the room with a sly smirk on her face, she clung to the door frame while the rest of her was well hidden behind the wall.
"I wonder how many drinks it will take until you forget just how young I am."
She eyed him a moment longer before ducking back into the room. She started to fiddle with the knobs of the bath before reaching out and grabbing one of the glass bottles against the wall. This one was labeled 'Bubble Bath'. She unscrewed the top and lifted it to her face, breathing in lightly. The fragrance of the soap floated up and around her as she relaxed at it's smell.
"Oh Logan! Even the soap smells so good! Come here! You have to smell this!"
