(( @Shinzou: Yes, you can change the order. For example, if after Hishida posted, you posted, the Hatsu, and only then Okojo posted... and so on...
Like now. The order has just been changed, and you people are dealing with it.

And no, it didn't affect much. This is not a tournament guys. So as long as you have fun, it's all good. But we can't have an anarchy here, otherwise it will get confusing!...

Btw... In IC threads, always keep your OOC's inside double brackets.))

Mock knew Asuma was a wild spirit residing inside Hogosha.
Mock knew Asuma could refuse to teach him.
Nonetheless, Mock knew Asuma would not refuse.

The Captain and Asuma knew each other well, so Mock was pretty sure that his old sensei knew why he said what he said...

Silent Contemplation... Am I right? The Shinigami replied. Well... For someone who supposedly contemplates in silence... he mocked ...You're being awfully loud.

MockaDash reached for his kiseru and placed some tobacco on it, while talking. I'm afraid, old man, that before I'll let you have your fun, you'll have to teach me some kidous... A trail of ash flew from the katana's scabbard and landed on top of the tobacco in the pipe. The ash ignited, and lit it.

Taking a couple of short puffs of smoke, Mock said I want you to teach me tenran and raikouhou. After that, I'll indulge your blood thirst.

Turning around, to look at Ike and Mashiro, Mock called them You two, come here please. Ike, I'm about to teach you shakkahou. Mashiro, I'll give you your orders now.

The Captain slowly exhaled the smoke inside his lungs, as he awaited for both Shinigamis to approach him.

Chuckling again, Asuma shook his head. "Not that one. I'm talking about pertaining to my powers. Infinite Blade, if I remember correctly. Silent Contemplation would be more adequate for Hogosha over there." Nodding his head in Hogosha's direction, Asuma snickered. Asuma knew that he wouldn't be able to face Mock until he taught him. He had heard as much while he was still in Hogosha's mind. Whatever he heard, Asuma heard. Whatever he though, Asuma knew. Though of course, he could shut him out, cut him off, but it wasn't often that happened. Asuma in his own, had been almost as powerful as Hogosha. And Asuma knew, Hogosha needed that power when push came to shove. Both helped the other because they needed one another. A give take relationship, if you wanted to call it that.

Asuma sheathed the blade in his hand, nodding. "But, what the hell, might as well teach ya something while I'm here. Raikoho is nothing more than just a more concentrated version of shakkaho or Sokatsui. You simply up the concentration, and then add a wider blast range. Think of a valve of water, and then turn up the pressure. The water jet gets smaller, but the power becomes greater. That in itself is Raikoho. The incantation is what gives it it's form. You do remember it, right?"

((Sorry, just had to post this counter, it was too beastly to wait. Btw Mock, I don't do double brackets by the way, single works fine if you ask me, but w/e.))

Shinzou smiled wickedly, Hatsume had mistaken his insight for speed. To tell the truth, Shinzou didn't need extreme speed, because he knew what was coming next. He saw the hand's transformation and the strike coming before she even launched it. He moved his hand lower so that her hand struck and caught in his palm. He winced a little as he pushed on through the immense pain that suddenly seeped into his left hand. By meeting her claws directly he had stopped their momentum and nullified their cutting power by disconnecting their movement from that of her entire arm. They now stuck out the back of Shinzou's hand, only able to receive cutting momentum from the end of her fingers, not enough to significantly tear at his flesh any more. He did however brace for more pain and he knew she would probably clamp her claws down into the back of his hand in an attempt to make him release the grip he was about to take.

Blood ran down both their arms as Shinzou fixed her hand with a death grip, squeezing down and locking his own hand around her's, digging his nails in to the back of her own hand so that she could not slip free. He now had her exactly where he wanted her. He flicked his Zanpakutou back in a motion that would force Okojo to take a step back to avoid a strike to his exposed face, a feat Shinzou was able to accomplish since he had blocked Okojo's Zanpakutou to the ground and his weapon still remained on top. Sparks flew momentarily as Shinzou's Zanpakutou scraped against Okojo's on the way back up towards his face. This was purely precautionary as he expected Hishida to recover and reoccupy Okojo's attention within the span of this attack.

While he was doing that he used his left arm to yank the rather light weight kitsune up off her feet, right when she was about to try and skit away. His Zanpakutou had been set up by the motion backwards towards Okojo's face and was now in the perfect position to launch a stab at her gut. His sword swished through the air as it closed on her stomach, looking to punch right through to the other side. He didn't see much that she could do to get out of this, being airborne now an all, and even if she did find a way to avoid the sword, she would still be locked in his grip.

Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! Mock replied. I know most of the incantations for kidous. I used to study them in the 5th Squad library, back in the day, when I was still an unseated member of that Squad.

Since both Mashiro and Ike still haven't approached Mock, he decided to start his own training instead of waiting for them to report to him.

So, basically I just focus my reiryoku in a similar fashion as I do for Shakkahou or Sokatsui, but concentrate on focusing the power into a wider blast. Along with the incantation, that should do the trick, right?

Grinning to Asuma, as he slowly exhaled the tobacco smoke from his nostrils, Mock said Wanna be my test dummy???

(( Ike and Mashiro, post whenever you like. I'll have my RPC stop what he's doing and train you. ))

Grinning again, Asuma nodded. "Let's see if it's not the other way around. Hit me with your best shot."

Mock sighed. He remembered the time when Suri was teaching him Sokatsui. He got so focused on the concept that hadou #33 was similar to hadou #31, that he got it all messed up, and released an unstable mixture of both. This time he was aiming to get it right in the first couple of times.

Tap more power into it. The Captain thought, as he began gathering reiryoku into his right palm, open wide and pointing at Asuma's direction.

He began chanting the incantation... Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!

The energy being focused on his palm, slowly began to change tones, from a deep indigo, into a pale amber. Hadou # 63 -- Raikouhou!!! The Captain yelled.

A surge of yellow energy beamed from his hand and headed towards Asuma. First it traveled in a normal straight path, but soon the energy began to spread to the sides, and faded to nothingness before reaching its target.

Mock failed in focusing the energy to create a stable pulse. Instead, he poured to much reiryoku into it, making the attack reach a critical mass and collapse upon itself.

Too spread out, huh??? Guess I'll try again.

((Waiting for your post before making a new attempt, Asuma-san. ))

Okojo was caught up fast, a cost for making his move the way he did, but due to Hatsume's thanks, he felt it was okay. Still, it was almost a head-rush feeling. One opponent moves away, and then is coming at him, a blade close to his shoulder. The other has got the Kitsune caught by using his own hand as a defense. It looked painful, but he still had time to aim for the bleach-blond male's face. He couldn't see a way to block the both of them at once.

It was a few steps back and Okojo almost stumbled, but it put his face out of harm's way. However, his shoulder gained the most of Hishida's attack, and he gave a grunt as he felt the tips of his fingers go numb as blade buried into his arm. He had to keep moving back, cutting his shoulder a little more to get out of range, but doing so was worth it. He corrected the grip on the hilt of his blade, feeling blood trickling down his arm and threatening to help loosen his grip.

Temporarily ignoring his pained shoulder, the bleach-blond took up his strength and headed for Shinzou, blade coming up in almost a hook manner to stop his blade from impaling the Kitsune.

((>> My turn?? Ehh hopfully... anywaaaays.... ))

»‡«Hatsume»‡« The kitsune wasn't at all in fear, her mind was in this battling daze. Everything around her was being taken notice of. Her counter seeming to be caught in a 'bear trap' like counter of Shin's own. Pointed fangs showed themselves in glee, her tongue licking the bottom of the right canine fang as blood spilt and her hand was intensely gripped. Pain wasn't a issue anymore, it was as if everything was numbed down from this adrenaline rush. His thoughts and preparations were correct; her digits spread and hooked downwards into his skin; but it seemed as if Shinzou was forgetting something as he played with Okojo's zanpacto with his own. Her right hand quickly came in carrying with it her long zanpacto. It's bladed point searching it's way under their death gripped arms. The long blade being pressed up under Shinzou's arm, pass the point of his elbow; inbetween the length of his armpit and elbow exactly really. ninja Whatever that place is called.. Hatsu's player forgets... ohwell. Anyways, she'd make good well and sure it didn't do damage yet.
Aye, if this even worked... it would be nothing but a threat to release everything he had and give up. Exactly, it would before he'd yank her up or do his stabbing attempt; as said.. it was while he was flicking and keeping his zanpacto busy with Okojo's blade. "Make a single move and you'll might find yourself without a arm Shinny-Sama." Again with the nicknames! Well, atleast she addressed him with respect, does that matter at all?! sweatdrop
Well, if he continued his same motives with yanking her body off the ground she'd adapt the best she could. Seeing her left hand was being being in a death grip with his own. Her left leg coiled up so high that her heel/hock had pressed against her bottom, the other leg also bending but not as much. Despite these reactions, one of the first would be her zanpacto to cut upwards and probably remove his arm, unless something was able to stop it, ofcourse, the upward yanking would only help her right arm achieve this... But then came the horrible warning. First she sensed the movement of it, Okojo's reaction towards it caused her head to turn and see for herself; only to prove her senses correct. His blade was redirecting itself towards her, aiming at her soft underbelly.
Hopefully Okojo would defend it off, if not or even if he did....She'd desperate twist the Tsuka around circling the zanpacto to come around and face her left once again before she'd stab it across infront of her, would it be to late? Should she be to slow? Or would she suceed, or did she even need to thanks to Oki-san? Could Shinni-sama continue attack after such damage? Or would he even have more damage? =0 So many questions, so many things that could be!... after all.. >>; Fate can change so easily....

Shinzou saw all this happen as he launched his attack. She was threatening him yes, but at such close range he still had the advantage with his strength. He changed the upwards motion of his pull to instead pull her towards himself and his arm away from her Zanpakutou. He rolled backwards, head over heels, extending his legs to keep her from getting too up close and personal. They would roll right back into Okojo, which means that Shinzou was now relying on Hishida to keep Okojo from taking his head off.

When he had completed the roll, he found himself on top of her, hands still locked together. He slid his knee forwards to her forearm and pinned her free hand and Zanpakutou. His Zanpakutou then came to her throat and pressed flat against the underside of her chin, it's blade pointing out towards Shinzou so that he did not accidentally slit her throat in any struggle that might ensue.

(( OK. I think I should get it this time. It makes no sense for my RPC to repeatedly fail at this one.))

Mock raised his palm once more, and point it at Asuma. He began focusing reiryoku on it. An orb of indigo-colored energy appeared on his hand, and began revolving around itself.

As the Shinigami was increasingly channeling more spirit energy into the orb, he was also keeping his focus on converging all the energy into a single spot. Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle! he chanted. Hadou # 63 -- Raikouhou!!!

The energy that have been turning yellow, erupted from his palm, in a straight path. As it traveled the short distance between Asuma and himself, the beam continued to widen in diameter, forming a cone pattern starting from Mock's hand.

It wasn't my most powerful move. But for a first time, I don't think it was that bad either. MockaDash commented, as the tobacco smoke were coming out of his mouth and nostrils, while he payed close attention to see what Asuma would do to counter the kidou.

Making sure that Okojo didn’t interrupt Shinzous and Hatsumes skirmish, Hishida swiftly took action. After Shinzou executed his rolling move, Hishida once again jumped forward and landed behind Okojo. He then spun around to change his position from being behind him to being in front of him. In the process of this, Hishida was swinging his sword towards Okojos wounded arm, in hoped that the blonde shinigami will have a harder time blocking from that angle because of his injury. From what Hishida had observed in the last few seconds, it had looked like Shinzou had gained the dominant position, all Hishida had to do was make sure that he could keep Okojo from disrupting it.

Grinning widely, Asuma simply raised his right hand, another orb of crimson appearing in his hand. Hogosha simply stood by, watching. He already knew what Asuma was planning. Asuma wasn't a kidou user. He often failed at getting them right. But, that didn't mean that he didn't know how to use them to his own advantages. While kidou was neither Asuma's nor Hogosha's strong point, they made due with their reiatsu control, more than making up for it with how they did their kidou. Now Asuma's hand glowed a bright crimson, as he had absorbed the ball of reiatsu into his hand. Spreading it into his fingers, Asuma simple chuckled. "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast, sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring, move and become the wind stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"

Asuma's fingers now glowed a pale yellow, as the kidou was charged into his hand. Acting quickly since the Raikoho was upon him, Asuma did the one thing he could. Using all five fingers, yellow lightning seemed to spark from every one of them, collecting in the middle of his palm, as the kidou was quickly charged, and fired. "Five focal point, Raikoho." As the two kidou clashed, Asuma's pushed back on Mock's, as they both fought against each other. Just what he wanted. Moving his arm again, Asuma quickly balled his hand into a fist, imploding his Raikoho. The explosion, well, implosion, sucked in both attacks, and then exploded, only leaving behind a large amount of smoke and wind. Neither attacks had exploded, only collided and imploded on each other. As the attacks were negated, the smoke and winds were released, the only thing that said the attacks had even happened. As the smoke cleared, Asuma still stood there, grinning widely.

From behind him came a chuckle. Hogosha had looked up, now staring at Asuma. "Did you have to try and show off?"
PostPosted: Mon May 25, 2009 12:51 pm

Mock grinned. He tends to do that, boy. the Shingiami said to Hogosha. It almost seems that you don't know him.
Inhaling smoke from his pipe, Mock let it out slowly, as he talked. Am I mistaken, Asuma-san, or have you become more prudent? The boy back there, might think you were showing off... But I think I know better! The old Asuma, would not go to the trouble of nullifying both attacks!

I'm a bit disappointed. I was expecting you to let both Raikouhous fiercely explode , and come out of the cloud of smoke with your Zanpakutou in hand.

Bah! Maybe next time...
Taking his time to flavor the scent of the burned tobacco leaves, Mock followed up what he was saying, after pausing. Shall we move on to Tenran? he asked, while paying attention to see if, meanwhile, Ike and Mashiro were ready to receive their own trainings as well.

Hogosha simply grinned, as he shook his head. "You misunderstand, Mock. I wasn't speaking of only the Raikoho."

What came next was from Asuma. The Asuma standing in front of Hogosha grinned, shrugging. Just as another one was behind Mock. Zanpaktou in hand, Asuma quickly spun the blade in his hand, as soon as Mock would realize that the Asuma standing in front of him was a mere image, condensed reiatsu from his Senshouheki that was left behind. The reiatsu image of Asuma quickly jumped back, as the real Asuma beind Mock finally did his move. "Tenran!" The resulting wind from his blade quickly turned into a sideways tornado, flying at Mock's back from almost point blank. Asuma knew that learning in the midst of battle was what truly gave you the power to do things. Even in the middle of battles, learning kidou was simple. All you had to do was focus. Staying alive while doing so was the hard part. Asuma was going to make Mock learn the way he had.

"You might want to move, Mock. I don't think he'll stop."
