[oh! no worries! im in no hurry at all! XD lol]
Lani chuckled, tucking a loose strand of her dark hair behind her right ear as she listened to him. "Heh, well that's very nice of you." She noted, referring to him 'helping her with this setting.' At his next question she looked down at the paper she was given by the woman at the desk. "Uhh..." She began as she let her eyes scan over the paper, quirking a brow as she did so. "Oh! I got room 5, 1st floor...and I have a roommate too, his name is...Ish...Ishio...Kawa...zaki?" She said as she read the printed name over and over again. "Wow, I feel really sorry for this guy, to have a roommate who can't even pronounce his name right..." She said as she rubbed the back of her neck with an awkward laugh, grinning at him sheepishly all the while.

Ishio stopped and turned towards her. He'd gotten a roommate already and it just happened to be a girl. Oh, he was in heaven now. He loved this school so much. "I don't think he'd be that upset. Awkward. He has the same name as me. Hmmm." he looked upwards and grinned a little, hoping she got the gist. It was obvious and she didn't look like one of those ignorant girls, so he was sure she'd notice and he waited for her reaction.

Lani slowly lowered the paper that was in front of her face, her eyes making their way over to the very sexy frame of the boy who accompanied her at that moment. Her eyebrow was quirked slightly, almost sending daggers at him now. "I hate you so much right now." She said softly before she sighed, running a hand through her long, black hair. "Well...Ishio, looks like we're going to be bunking together from now on huh?" She asked, trying to be casual about it even though she was screaming and going crazy on the inside.

"Hate me?" He itched his head, wondering what he did. He grinned again when she spoke of them being in the same dorm room. "It seems so, huh? Thank god I got a beautiful woman instead of some guy. Let's hope it's fun, ok?" He winked at her, then began walking once again. "What do you feel like doing? Going out to eat, chat somewhere, blah blah. I can't really think of anything." he smiled slightly and flashed her a toothy smile once again. Things had turned out a LOT better than what he had expected.

At his reference of her as a 'beautiful woman' as well as the wink he slipped her, Lani couldn't help but let her face grow a tad hot, a light pink hue appearing on her olive-toned cheeks. "Uh-huh, yeah. Right." She said with a smirk, rolling her eyes playfully before glancing away from him for a moment. "And ehh, I guess I'm hungry. I haven't eaten breakfast yet...or is it lunch now? Bahh, I don't even care." She said with a slight sigh before smirking back at him. "But as long as I'm with you, Ishio, I'll be just fine." She flirted back, slipping him a cute wink as well.

Ishio saw the blush and he couldn't help but smile to it, not telling her that he noticed. "Time to eat then. Let's go off campus." He grinned at her once again and rubbed the back of his head as he heard her next set of words. "Izat so? Good thing." He was starting to like this girl. She seemed fun and witty and that was his kind of girl. Was it fate that threw them in the same school and dorm room. He mentally shrugged the thought away, considering he didn't believe in such things as fate or destiny. Ishio believed it was merely coincidence and he was thankful towards the coincidence.
Once they reached a small restaurant, Ishio removed his wallet from his back pocket and shuffled through his cash. Most of it had gone to rent in his apartment before he had moved into the dorm room and he didn't get payed until later this week. As a waitress came to them, he looked up at her and smiled. "Oh, hello, Ishio-kun? Who's this? Your new girlfriend." Ishio laughed nervously and looked between the waitress and Lani. "Nope, she turned me down." He laughed, wondering what Lani's reaction would be to that. The waitress giggled slightly and nodded. "I see. Well, what would you like to eat?" the waitress asked Lani. "You better make him pay for all of this." The waitress winked at Lani and giggled some more.

At the sound of food coming from off-campus, Lani smiled, nodding slightly the entire time. "Okay then! Let's go!" She exclaimed, throwing a fist in the air, laughing the entire time. But when they arrived at the restaurant, Lani blinked at it, smiling from it to him. This is really cute. Hmm, much like him... She thought to herself before she followed him inside. At the arrival of the waitress, she merely stayed silent, her hands folded in front of her in an almost 'lady-like' fashion. But when the waitress questioned Ishio of his relationship with her, she blushed deeply, blinking wildly. Now she was even more confused than ever. But she soon decided to just go along with it.
"Hmm yeah. He begged me over and over again until he finally wore me down, goes to show what can happen if you persevere once in awhile." She replied with a smile, elbowing Ishio in the arm lightly. She winked once more with a cute giggle, trying not to pay any thought to the waitress' next words. But she thought it would be rude if she didn't reply. "Uh, a place by a window?" She suggested with a sigh. "And sure thing, whatever you say.." She then looked back at him for a moment with a sweet smile, cocking her head to one side before she swept up a few loose strands of her long, dark hair, tucking them behind an ear. "Well then, shall we?" She asked her 'date' of the meal, giggling cutely all the while.

Ishio looked towards her as she spoke and smiled at him. The wink made his smile form into another grin. The waitress introduced herself to Lani as Aria, then brought them to a booth next to a window as Lani had requested. She set down some menus and walked away, giving Lani another wink before leaving. "Sorry about that. She's always like been that way." He chuckled a little bit, closing his eyes as his smile widened. "Order anything you'd like. I'll pay. It helps things that I get an employee discount as well." Ishio stared at her eyes for a moment, actually thinking that he liked this girl, unlike the other ones he'd been with. The others had found a good way to annoy him, but this one seemed different and he liked that. "So, what's Hawaii like anyway? Never been out of the country myself." He itched his head and laughed nervously once more.

Lani smiled as they were led to the window-side table that she requested of Aria before, nodding to the girl as she walked away from them. She then looked back to Ishio and chuckled gently. "Thanks, but I won't get too much, I don't think you can handle what my stomach can dish out." She joked happily before she opened up her menu, realizing that it was upside down instantly. With a laugh, she flipped it over, now right side up, herself sweatdropping with a sigh of relief. "Hawaii?" She repeated, quirking a brow at him before smiling sweetly. "It's like all those tropical islands that you've seen in movies and music videos and magazines, all combined. I loved it there. I was born and raised there. The surf was always perfect and everyone was ohana, or family." She told him with a slight giggle, staring into his eyes lightly.

"That sounds nice. Maybe I'll be able to go there one day." He looked down at his menu, but didn't open it. He wasn't that hungry, but he wanted a drink. Besides that, if he did, he already knew the whole menu. "I'm gonna take it you don't have a boyfriend, right?" He grinned at her already knowing the answer. If Lani had, she probably wouldn't be acting so cute towards him. He also had a natural talent to point out those in a relationship and those who weren't. "How you are single will never cease to amaze me. You've got a personality and beauty. I probably don't have a chance, huh?" It wasn't a natural event for Ishio to be rejected, but there were some instances. It always seemed to be the good ones that didn't want him around.

"You should, it's so beautiful this time of year anyway." Lani said with a shrug before she blinked at him, taking in his question slowly. "Uh, no, I don't...thanks for asking!" She replied, trying to play it off in a cool fashion even though she knew that on the inside she was screaming and mentally slapping herself so she couldn't blush. But all that soon went away and a light pink hue began to appear on her cheeks when he complimented her. She had never been one to receive compliments before, so for this exception, she was most grateful. "A chance with me? Hmm, let me think..." She said as she placed her hand under her chin, quirking a brow as she looked him over, analyzing him like he was a science fair project. "Well, maybe. I don't know, it's too soon to tell. But hey! You never know!" She said with a wink and a laugh, grinning at him all the while.

Another quality for him to like about her. She didn't freak out when he asked if he had a chance. Countless times the girls had stood up and screamed that they liked him. That was kind of an embarassing situation considering he didn't know the girls well at all. He laughed along with her after her latter sentence and smiled warmly in her direction once he had ceased laughing. "Still, I can't believe we're in the same dorm. I think it's great." Ania came back around and asked what Lani wanted to eat first, then she turned to Ishio once Lani had given her order. Ishio just asked for some coffee. Ania went to the back and brought a hot cup of coffee back to Ishio. "Arigato, Ania-chan." She bowed slightly and walked away.

Lani couldn't help but nod in agreement with Ishio. Living in the same dorm together was definitely going to be fun. They've only just met today, and now look at them? They're clicking just like that. "Yeah Ishiro. I can already tell that it's going to be a pretty awesome year with you." She told him with a smile, giggling cutely to herself before she heard him speak some Japanese. "Ari...gato?" Lani questioned as she blinked at him innocently, taking a sip of the glass of water she had ordered. "What does that mean Ishiro?" She asked him. Growing up on a tropical island, Lani only knew two languages: Hawaiian and English.
