Songjewel icon_whee.gif Extreme case... icon_xp.gif my point being, bruises heal cleaner than nasty gashes. *pictures a bashed-in skull* ewww... Unless the blunt object causes a nasty gash...and then it'll probably be an ugly mess... Actually, thats not really extreme at all... If you hit someone with a weapon designed for smashing, its rather likely. Assuming you're beating someone with the intent to seriously maim/kill/do more than irritate them, while using something that could be considered a weapon (Bat, hammer, mace, etc.), you're going to be leaving gashes, broken bones, internal bleeding, and a fear of doctors. Back in the day, if you got stabbed, they bandaged you up. If you got hit with a hammer, they cut the corresponding limb off. They couldn't fix the splintered bones that cut through all of your muscles and various soft squishy parts. Er, that aside, I play on pRo. Its currently going through a wipe, however. Much sadness.

THANK YOU! *Hugs him.* Someone else who understands why the hell you should, by all rights, murder a white mage who tries to heal a broken bone without setting it first! xd

sweatdrop Well I'm sorry. For christ's sake you'd think that I'd know if title was supposed to be for class or not. I made the darn thing. I didn't mean to mislead anyone by it and since Opaj brought it up, I thought "Well why not just kill the misconceptions right now?"
sweatdrop Mou,
Anyways. ^_^ I gotta get out of this damned hotel room. TO OTAKON! blaugh
crying I have bought my $300 worth of manga. I shall die happy.

Okay... THAT... was fackin' sweet. whee
I just RPed the Phantom of the Opera... Not exactly, of course, but it was pretty close...
The talented girl enchanted him with her singing, luring him in and entrancing the Phantom with her song... In responce, he sang back to her, enticing her to investigate this 'Angel of Music'... He stole her away and seduced her, but when she realized the truth behind his mask, she pushed away... He responded by kidnapping her, and forcing her to choose... though in the end, her love for her fiancee saved her from him.
And that was more or less what happened IC, as well. xd Almost accidentally, too... And what's moreso, we were actually singing a duet in character... the songs from the opera, actually. For about 4 hours we didn't say a SINGLE line that wasn't song... and it fit so damn perfectly well. whee
*Has it all coppied into MSWord now.* ...19 pages and just about 10 hours of fackin' sweet RPing. whee

themightyjello Anyways... *cough* Tally-ho! scream *Pulls a chandalier rope from the wall and jumps from the staircase, swinging on the rope down into the room and snatching up Song as he passes through the thinning crowd.* Ya-HA! scream domokun ...erk? eek *Slams face-first into the opposite wall, then flops down onto the floor on his back with anime swirls in his eyes.* xd My hero... sweatdrop *pokes* uhrm... Actually, I could either go to Otakon or Pennsic this year. I chose Pennsic. ninja Fenrir SongMoon Assuming you're beating someone with the intent to seriously maim/kill/do more than irritate them, while using something that could be considered a weapon (Bat, hammer, mace, etc.), eek Extreme. I consider attempting to bludgeon someone to death extreme. On the other hand, bladed things can do damage with less force/pressure behind them, so it's easier to hurt someone. Like a certain someone I know who was LARPing some characters with live steel...and ended up putting her sword into my other friend's leg by accident. xd Facking crazy friends I have.

Well, then any form of fighting would be extreme. blaugh Its definately easier to hurt someone with a pointed object. All i'm saying is that the wounds from bludgeoning things are typically worse.
I went to Pennsic for the past three years in a row. whee I'm not going this year, though. I didn't wanna go last year, I just went as a favor to my family, so they could get more in the land grab. I stayed for three days and helped set up their camp. I would go, but i'm at that magic age 20, where you can't get in any of the parties, so you're forced to sit in camp alone or hang out with 14-16 year olds. That wouldn't be so bad, except all the 14-16 year olds I know lose all of their brain cells when they get to Pennsic and I want to slap them. Besides, i've already done it a few times, its cool, but nothing new for me there. I barely do anything with the SCA anymore, anyways. I can't stand more than half of the members.
I always figured that when a white mage used healing magic on you, it set the bones automatically.... I guess it depends on the setting.

Remind me again what SCA means? sweatdrop
I've never been anywhere, never done anything, and never... well... you name it and I probably haven't done it. xp
Though that doesn't mean I'm not interested in doing some of those things... Seem like they're a lot of fun, yet at the same time, disturbing and degrading... perfect. xd
...and apparently my escapades last night have been immortalized in a locked thread in the guild forum. o.O;; *Prods it.* ...and once again, my moderator status has changed without me being notified... Though not here, in another forum. I just clicked in and had extra buttons, and I was like: "WTF!?"

First year? I hope you have friends you're gonna be spending lots of time with. Otherwise.... Find friends. Quick. It sorta makes me wish I was going, I might actually have something to do. xd Hmmm... lemmee see if I can give any advice....
1) Do NOT drink the water. Seriously.
2) Drink lots of liquids that aren't diaretics. (Pop, tea, coffee, etc.) It gets HOT, and a lot of people end up passing out from dehydration and heat exhaustion because they aren't careful. I literally forced myself to drink even when I didn't feel like it- your body will tell you that its had enough water when it really hasn't yet. Don't be fooled!
3) Try the chocolate milk. It's good. Really good. I mean slit your mother's throat for a sip good.
4) Don't walk around in the woods by yourself at night, and watch your money, and don't leave valuable things alone in your tent. Just because it's SCA doesn't mean there aren't unscrupulous people- there are.
5) Make friends with security and get free rides on golf carts. whee
I always camped in Camp Bodran. The people I usually stayed with aren't going this year, though. They had a bit of a... Falling out with the camp leader last year. sweatdrop It was ugly. Real ugly.
And SCA means Society of Creative Anachronism. It's a medieval recreation group.
