Amai Sakura-chan Vale Kinomoto He shook his head. "Horse hair and hide is much too valuable to just let you go." he said. He then made a signal with his fingers and the men who had been twirling their nets launched them at the girl. He still couldn't see how she could prefer death over losing her tail. All the wolves covered their ears, howling loudly with the pain. "Centaurs are too much trouble." They then moved forward and several of them started to pull the net back towards the camp.

Kira was humming as she cooked, the grean beans and bacon were done along with the carrots and celery. She started to prepare the ranch dip for it which was much thicker than the salad dressing. She was still making the fish, though it would take at least a bit because she was making extras just in case and also to cool and give to the hunting parties tomorrow for their lunch. Kira's family always did things like that. "Hey mum, do you know if dad will be home for dinner?" she asked quietly, not wanting Haiiro to hear her.
Maralah nodded. "I can smell him, they just reentered camp. I don't think they have the foreigners with them though. They look tired. We may have a full house if he brings some of the younger warriors home again. I think he's trying to find you a mate again." she said, chuckling.
Kira growled. "I certainly hope not. I'm not old enough for such things and besides, it's annoying when people try to impress me. I don't want to be protected by my mate, I want him to be my equal, like you pappa." She said, shaking her head gently as she put more fish in.
Monty walked slowly through the village, weary from a day of tracking. The tracks had stopped upbruptly just before hoofprints started up. He was sure by the way the prints were that it was a horse child and not a human on a horse. It looked like the horse child was running and straight into the Fendar wolf territory as well.

He nodded "Yeah.. Hey Haiiro it's ready. Kira, Maralah.. are you two having salad as well?"
Haiiro stepped out of the room with a discouraged look on his face "I couldn't find it..."

::she looks up at Haiiro:: i... i'll help... ::slips into the room. the movement of her dropping and kicking the small pouch under the bed is so subtle that, even if you knew to watch for it, you wouldn't see her do anything. she points to the side of the room with the now hidden bag:: you look over there, i'll look here ::and she goes to search the other side of the room::

"Yes, I'll be having salad and so will Monty." Maralah called as her husband strode in the door with a few young warriors. "And a few others."
Kira scrunched up her nose. Geez, why'd he have to bring them with him? I can't believe he did that when we have guests. She thought, growling lightly. "I'm not eating salad, too much food to prepare." She noted that there were three others she had to cook for besides the extra rations for the hunters tomorrow.
Monty kissed Maralah on the cheek and then patted Kira on the head. He then walked in to see the three young ones. He sighed as he looked at Haiiro. "I'm sorry, but we haven't found your parents yet. We're going to try to pick up the trail in the morning." He then looked at the others. "Who might you youngsters be?"

Toshi smiled politely "I'm Toshi.. nice to meet you." He places a few more plates out.
Haiiro had nodded to the thing about his parents focusing on finding the bag instead of what might be! He paused as he spotted something and grinned grabbing it and running over to Thena excitedly "I found it!!! Look!! This is it right!?!"

He beams proudly and hugs her back.. but not too tight. he can sense (sort of) that she was still a little nervous but he was determined to fix that!
