((Sorry ><")) Asher walked very fast, though didn't break into a run. His speed did increase drastically, however, as he neared the hospital. Almost there... I'm coming Emily...

Gabriel sighed and let the teenager trail a bit ahead of him. The android shook his head and continued, following Asher's heat signature at one point through the building when the teenager was out of sight. "Now would you tell me why the hell you have to be here?"
((Naw... it's funny... I am getting a little tired right now though...))

((No! Stay awake!!))
Asher sighed. "I need to pay the hospital or they'll stop treating my sister. She's sick." He swallowed again, "Will you... take these off? Just while we're in the hospital?" Asher pleaded.

Without a word, Gabriel touched the energy cuffs which promptly disengaged. They folded themselves back into a crescent shape and the android caught them as they fell to the floor. "Accounting is on the first floor,"

Asher nodded. "Right..." he said, walking through the sliding, sterile glass doors and exchanging his cash through the window and forging some papers "in his parents' absence". He then aproached the elevator to visit Emily Coetell.

Gabriel slid in front of Asher, "Woah woah... where do you think you're going?" his right hand already held out the all to familiar cuffs. "You payed your fees..."

"Can't I visit her?" He asked, a worried look on his face. I've come this far! He thought, I can't leave now... "Just for a moment? She's really sick..."

"Tragic," Gabriel said bluntly, almost sounding like he intended to be cruel, "Maybe if you get me some more information on Updike and his operation, then I might let you see your dear ol' sis,"

Fear made Asher's insides sick. He felt pangs of illness as he spoke with Gabriel. "A-Alright," he said, "I'll tell you whatever I can. Now can I go?"

If Conner continued to influence Gabriel's decisions (even though she appeared to be the voice of reason) then Gabriel would soon tire of her interference and leave her. After realizing this (which took half of three seconds upon entering the hospital), Conner resolved to not interfere unless Asher really needed her help. She would probably want someone other than Gabriel, but not if no one else could be found....
Because of this, is why Conner ignored the two and focused on using the public computer set in the wall, next to a pair of padded stools. Their artificial leather seats were once vibrant and red, but now had faded into a soft, dull, whitening pink. Conner seems to fly through the computer's public databases, barely having to glance at what appeared onscreen while typing at a ferociously fast rate. Her hands and the text that was typed was a blur, and Conner seemed to be able to intuitively navigate through networks and forums. The monitor displayed five different windows, each displaying a different set of constantly-changing information.
Conner was not even performing any useful tasks, yet. She had to determine, first, through a sort of preliminary set of coded executions, whether this terminal could be used to hack into any other databases--specifically, the android army's internal one--and whether she could do so without being traced.
Conner would not access any restricted databases from a traceable location, if such a location her side could not afford to have compromised. A hospital... really was important. No hacking here, unless they possessed a supercomputer of sorts.
The expression displayed on Conner's face would alert her companions to her knowledge of bad news, unless neither really cared about her at the moment, enthralled in each other as they currently were.

"Da west'arbuh..." he grumbled to himself, "Thank'uh, m'loydy."
He then stood, giving the stool on which he sat an amazing amount of relief, and stumbled out of the bar. Soon enough, he was at the west harbor, a run-down, old-looking building held fast with a low-grade locking mechanism. Using the keys that Kajin gave him, he opened the shutter door, revealing the Chisai Ookami. Kajin was obviously Japanese, yet she spoke clear English, much clearer than that of the massive lizardman.
He shrugged, walked towards the vehicle, inserted the second key into the door-lock and stepped inside.

Kajin smiled and waved by to Seeke, "ja-ne." Turning around to put the lock box in her hands away Kajin locks the whole thing up. "There...now let's see who needs another beer." Spinning around Kajin bright smile is never lost as she grabs another tray of beers. "Order up, last call."

The ship's interior was a bit... chrome for Seeke's tastes, but the lizardman didn't care. He slumped into the pilot seat and started the ignition, ready to leave... until he realized that he would need a crew.

Stars and nothingness seemed to flash by, as Brand entered the Aomega astral tear. After a set of mind-altering events in the abyss of a physical anomaly--a worm hole--the ship reached the opposite side of the rift, even if a bit shaky.
"Damn," Brand muttered in his own language, "the Skrimir'll need repairs. Let's see... where's a good asteroid port near here...?"
