Rorschach looked at the little girl. Reminded him of Blair Roche, the little girl whom he had been too late to save. Walked over to fridge door, held it for her. Soft spot for kids. Personal reasons.

Cat stared for another second. "What is that supposed to mean? Where did you go? I came back to the apartment and you were just gone! Are you okay?"

Rosie looked back to the woman again and stared at her with a blank expression. "Um...I don't know what you're- oh, I bet you were with one of my copies. I think there are still a couple of them out and about."

As the mental connection to Azazel faded, she heard his voice as though it were coming from a long distance.
"You're lucky, Kitty Cat. I'll be waiting for you...and you will be mine..." Then he faded away.

Meanwhile, War Machine landed outside of a seemingly random building and went in. He called for Strange.

Cat froze still as stone for several seconds, then swallowed and let out the air in her lungs slowly. After another moment, she responded in a somewhat flat voice "Copies. Sure, why not? What did you want to eat?"

"Anything. I'm starvin." she said with a smile, trying to get a better grip on the blood in her arm.
"Yeah. A few of us got scattered around when we practiced our new power. We've been lost for a while now. Though you could have been with the original too. I don't know. The real one's the only one who can really keep track of all of us." she replied and tried to step away from the fridge, then paused a moment. "What do you mean she was just gone?" she asked, the thought of something happening to the original suddenly worrying her.

Cat hesitated, then got out some peanut butter and jelly. She'd always liked those sandwiches as a little girl. Getting out some bread, she slowly answered. "I have no idea. I was sort of looking after her, and... something happened, so I went to go get help. When I got back about a half an hour later, she was gone."

Spider-man heard the pounding at the door. "I'll get it!" He said with obnoxious joy, bounding off down the hallway. He stopped and opened the door. "Oh, hey, War Machine! Glad you're here."

((Oops, my bad. I totally knew that. I thought it was where you went into the old office building, then that one Asian butler that works for Strange let you into the Sanctum itself.))
War Machine was slightly surprised to see Spider-Man answer the door, but he was rapidly coming to realize that anything could happen lately.
"Hey Spidey. Nice to see you again. Strange around?"

Cat put down the peanut butter knife and started spreading the jelly. "Nope," she said with confidence she didn't feel, "I found someone that could help me, and everything should be fine." As long as I stay cooped up in this house for God only knows how long, she added mentally. She didn't want to think about that.

Rosie smiled a bit more as she watched the woman spread the jelly. "Well...that's good. If you're worried about the me you met, I can see if mommy can find her once I get back home. She could probably find all of me." she replied, then looked up at the woman with a little smile.
"Um, what's your name anyway? I know this must be kind of wierd since you already met me, but I haven't. Didn't the other one mention that she had powers?"
