Kaigen's face softened instantly, "I got your attention though, ne?" he chuckled, amused by her remark. It was true, he really couldn't call himself a captain, not after his latest battle . . . but he would be able to . . . someday soon.
'When you're alone, kid, we'll teach you,' buzzed in Kaigen's mind. Most Zanpakuto spirits were into the whole - you can have my power when you earn it- spiel, but Jakenkou and Ibarahime were not the usual zapakuto spirit. Jakenkou wanted nothing more than to become stronger, and had been debating whether or not to lend Kaigen the power of Bankai, but after this performance . . . his decision was made.

Sayo just looked bored with his comment on that. Power alone did not make a Captain (example: herself), but it was absolutely a necessary component. Captains had to be strong enough to fight the best enemies of Soul Society, and if they weren't, they didn't deserve the title. This was part of why Soul Society had been teetering as of late; they hadn't been selecting the best to be running things. If any of those three were still around, they probably could have gotten things settled fast and helped train up those who could still advance, but they were long gone, and few remembered much other than their names. Certainly, their teachings were basically gone now... and she wasn't qualified to explain them to others, not by a long ways. Sigh. "You need more power. I feel like I should beat it into you myself." Probably not the best idea she'd ever had. Sayo had no idea how to teach others to get strong the way she was. She wasn't even entirely sure how she'd done it herself.

Kaigen laughed hard at this. He had literally screamed at her earlier to beat some sense into him, but she had no desire to. Now she just wanted to fight him just to fight him. "Perhaps tomorrow I'll take you up on that, Sayo-chan, but for now, I'm going to the 4rth division with Nani-chan t work out this mysterious pain in my back," he joked.

Sayo simply walked around behind him, then smacked his back right on the spine, more than hard enough to get rid of any dislocations he had there. The fact that her gloves were armor probably didn't cushion the blow any. "Your back's fine. Come on; if you want to get better, then you need to start now." Would just hitting him toughen him up? Hmm... Apparently deciding to ignore any protests he might have, the armored Shinigami grabbed Kaigen's wrist and began dragging him towards 11th Division's traning area.

((I'm shredded to ribbons back there!))

Kaigen shifted forward before Sayo could make contact with his back. "You trying to rip open my wounds, Sayo-chan?" he muttered, a bit annoyed that she tried to hit him. "Could I keep fighting? Maybe. Should I? Hell no, It's my day off," he chuckled heartily.
As Sayo grabbed his wrist, Kaigen pulled back about as hard, but found himself sliding instead. He could just about match her strength, but without armor, he was lighter than she was, so she had the obvious advantage.
"Noooes! I want to liiiiive," he joked as he slid along, reaching out to Nani, which caused him to lose his balance, making it that much easier for Sayo to pull him. He hoped Nani would at least follow and maybe apply some sort of salve that division 4 was famous for, but that was her decision.

(( She's ignoring your protests, remember? ^^ And this wouldn't be an OOC post, but she already left... ))

As soon as Sayo released her, Nani moved closer to Kaigen, standing there silent while they spoke, until Sayo finally grabbed Kaigen by the hand. The young girl didn't really know what to do, she wasn't in any way capable of stopping Sayo or really helping Kaigen get away, she just felt bad that she couldn't help at all, she could only think to follow behind them quickly, she could at least provide Kaigen with medical aid, right? Well, that was her hope. In the mean time, she was just going to have to follow and try not to worry, Sayo-chan wasn't that crazy, or at least she hoped she wasn't.
Red in the face and keeping her hands down infront of her, her head ducked down so she wouldn't be overly noticed. There were a lot of things she wished she were, including out going, but it didn't include being overly noticed, she wanted to be ignored a fair amount. Her small feet tapped against the ground lightly as she walked, the large white obi around her waist swayed slightly as she walked, heading toward the eleventh division behind them, a nervousness to her step while she walked.
