After Zyke's wound to the chest, he was lifted and carried down to the med bay by Alice's robotic butler. He slipped in and out of consciousness, seeing computers and stats and medical equipment outside of his bacta tank.

Zyke relived some of his memories while unconscious in the bacta tank. As his eyes drifted shut in the tank, his eyes were opening to see rocky canyon drenched with rain. He lifts himself up and looks into a rain puddle filled human blood. He looked up to see the moon fading to the sun's persistent beckons. He'd transformed again. He stood and limped his way to the nearest high peak he could find. He looked out to the red horizon to see a large town ablaze, decimated by the Oozaru Zyke the previous night. Zyke lost his breath looking upon the chaos and death he had caused. Zyke eyes begin to ope again as he falls backward, no longer having the energy to stay awake or stand. Zyke partially awakens inside the bacta tank, looking again upon the medical equipment and computers in the room before him.

Arin waved a hand to Rota as she walked past, her aura tamed, the torrential buffeting waves of heat stilled. Her meaning was clear. Do as you will. She was allowing him free roam. She acknowledged that he was now himself done with his own orientation, by dint of beginning another soul's entrance to the tenkuu no houou, as she imagined the Group was called. The Aether of Phoenix. The rebirth was poetic, as they were all saiyans, short of Aki, and even she had transformed from the ashes of her past life. They all grew to something new. They were all part of the same Aura of the Reborn God. For the first time in her life, she felt as a part of something more than herself and Aki. A part of something greater than just herself.

She paced contemplatively toward the medbay, arriving to stare blankly at Zyke as he was restored to health by those medicinal waters. It wouldn't take too long, she supposed. He went down in one hit --albeit a stab wound to his vital areas-- from Rota. He couldn't have too much trouble getting back to his full health. ALICE's attentions seemed to be quite effective for the weaker beings.

Arin was still standing in front of Zyke when something crossed her mind. A thought that struck her like lightning and pierced her consciousness. Aki isn't here... "ALICE. Where is Aki?"


"Queen Aki left prior to your exiting the training room to encounter the one who was left aboard on Earth."

"She... LEFT!?

"Yes. Queen Aki left the ship using the unused pod left by the saiyan intruders. She touched down in saiyan quadrant 3, just inside the saiyan sector, close to where your craft lifted off when you last left Nexum."

The color drained from Arin's already pale face. She didn't know if she was a match for the saiyans on Nexum... But she knew that Aki wasn't anywhere near ready for the challenge... Arin was already flying through the hallways. What is she thinking? "Inform Rota that I have left, and that he is to watch the newcomer. I do not have time to interview him personally, but I trust Rota can handle any rebellious streak the boy has. Tell them to come to me as soon as they are ready, or as soon as I reach my full power, regardless of their readiness. Believe me, you will know when I am fighting."

Arin blew through the door that ALICE was struggling to open before Arin would destroy it and rip the equilibrium of the ship to pieces. Arin's slim frame slipped between the metal teeth of the door and she was hurtling toward the planet at her full speed, picking her forest out by pure topographical memory.


The door shut behind Arin, and the vacuum of space left nary a breeze traveling through the gargantuan ship.

Somehow, Arin just knew where Aki would be. Something tied them together, stronger than friendship. Stronger than kinship. Nothing would stand between Arin and Aki. NOTHING!!! Arin flew over the open pod and saw the telltale signs of battle. Charred, still-smoking trees, a perfect circle of blazed earth. She charged forward, stripping her weights from her body, not stopping until her intuition told her where to stop. She set down in front of two guards outside of a magnificent structure. A rather lavish palace, especially for a saiyan. But she at least understood vainglory, and wouldn't begrudge the dead man his parting pleasure of a white stone, decorated manor.

Arin stood, looking at the guards as they raised their eyes to her, crossing their arms. Each touched his scouter before asking her what her business was with Lord Tatoma.

Arin just stared silently as the two guards' eyes continued to widen. The sound of two scouters traveling up their scales in sync... And not stopping. They were amazed. The girl before them had a powerlevel... Over three thousand... Four... Five... Six... Their mouths opened in silent exclamation as it continued to climb. Ten thousand... Twelve... Thirteen. It climbed to a gradual halt at the level of fifteen-thousand, three hundred eighteen. Arin just stared, cracking her knuckles nonchalantly and driving forward in a flash, the gravity here feeling as pitiful as the wholehearted attempts of a ball of cotton to hold her down. Her fist lashed out at the gut of one of the soldiers, and she would proceed with a further strike to his stomach, drawing back only slightly and delivering the blow to precisely the same spot.

Hair: Arin's black hair is just short of her shoulders, falling into a straight bob running along her jawline.
Eyes: Arin's eyes are black and piercing, never seeming to relax.
Physical Description: Arin's figure is great, her breasts are on the smaller side, while her hips are strong. Her arms and legs have a sharp but graceful, muscular build. Her skin is surprisingly pale for someone with no home.
Clothing: Arin wears a battered suit of Saiyan armor, with a long black undersuit that clings to every curve. The Armor's pads are an almost black purple, and the normally white part of the armor is a lighter, but still dark, purple. It bears the scar of a tiger's claw slashed across the left section of the chest.
Background: Arin was born on planet Vegeta. She was exiled on Nexum after she was found to be a middle-class warrior. For some reason, her upper-class parent's pride just couldn't take that disrespect. So she was abandoned. She grew up believing that she was simply abandoned by a family on Nexum, although she didn't much care. Her pride wouldn't let her go crawling back to parents who didn't want her. So she grew up in the wilderness between Humantown and Saiyantown.

She killed a saiya-jin boy named Tatopa on Nexum and stole his pod. She went to Earth in search of an underling to join her in her quest to rule the Universe. While there, she discovered a girl named Aki. Together they defeated Akachi, who was a well-known (but air-headed) fighter. The prize money bought them a larger ship, and their friendship slowly blossomed into something more. While on their ship, traveling to Nexum for no conscious reason, Arin realized something: Aki was human, and she would die very soon by Saiyan standards. Her trip to Nexum took on a different light. Arin was going to visit the wise men who lived at the poles there, and she was going to find a way to save Aki.
Personality: Arin is generally withdrawn and focused with single-minded intensity on her pursuit of power. But since meeting Aki, she has begun to seek a way to protect Aki from the frailties of being human. She has become more kind, and is beginning to look at people as more than meat. (if only barely)
Other: Arin has three goals: To find and destroy her parents, to dominate the universe, and to protect Aki in any (and every) way possible.

Description of Jutsu: The user has learned to fly, specializing in short, incredibly fast dashes with almost no follow-through.

Special: The first day of training is simply learning to fly. The second day is the drills with the style.

Technique Name: Power-up
Description of Jutsu: This technique is the ability to bring the vast stores of ki that are held in your body's reserves to the surface (and often, beyond the surface, resulting in an aura of ki around the user.)

Damage: 1 hp to inanimate objects per 2 kp over resting rate, at a radius of [ki mod] feet around the user.

Training: 1 day
Special: This technique allows the user to pull their inactive ki to the active state at a rate of [ki mod + ki control] per turn.

An aura will develop around the user if they surpass their resting ki rate. Auras can displace solid matter, so it's a good idea to think through it before powering up to full strength in the middle of a flimsy building. (just a suggestion.) Ki causes damage to inanimate objects (that the user is not protecting or keeping out of this effect) at a rate of 1 hp damage per 2 kp over resting rate. Just how it happens depends on personal preference. This damage has a radius of [ki mod] feet around the user. It does not harm people.

Technique Name: Ki shot
Description of Jutsu: allows the user to form a ball of their ki that can be thrown/shot at their opponent. This is one of the most basic forms of attacking with ki, as it only requires a loosely-formed ball/beam/arrow/projectile (depending on your specialty/preference) of energy and the ability to move your arm (or not, as it were)

Technique Name: Ki blast
Description of Jutsu: This technique seems to be fairly common, (and fairly obsolete) throughout the universe. It focuses generic chakra and fires a blast (can be a cone, ball, beam, whatever,) of non-sustained chakra to do a little damage to whatever it happens to hit.

Reflex DC: 5 + Character level + ki mod for half damage. Neutral 20 or surpassing the save by 10 means no damage.

Technique Name: Sustained Ki blast
Description of Jutsu: This is another fairly common technique. It involves the user firing a continuous stream of ki at their opponents. Unlike a non-sustained attack, this attack can be used to continuously damage an enemy if you can hit them.

Description of Jutsu: This jutsu greatly increases the abilities of the fighter, at the expense of their health and ki. This technique is risky, but the rewards can be well worth it.

Name: Saiyan Armor
Type: Armor
Description: The armor that has made the Saiyan race, as a whole, recognizable.
In-Game Stats:
-5 to all damage
if an attack roll is between 100% and 150% the user's DB, it hits the armor. (Unless the user waives the defense of the armor)
((So If I have a DB of 10, any attack between 10 and 15 will strike the armor instead of me))
The standard Saiyan Armor has an HP of 200.
Can stretch to accommodate almost any size. From toddler to Oozaru, this armor suffers no penalties for expanding as such.
Requirements: None.
Special: Can only be procured at a Saiyan's shop. No other race will have a suit of this armor for sale, because no Saiyan would give it up, unless their pride had forced them to remove it and they got killed, or similar, but that's not important. The point stands: Only at Saiyan stores.

Name: Standard Scouter
Type: Ki Scanner
Description: This is the most basic scouter on the market, excluding antiques. It allows a person to read apparent power levels to the mark. Unfortunately, it will explode if a power level is over 25,000.
In-Game Stats: Allows a person to read apparent power levels, in the original Saiyan language, unless specially made for a different language, or modified with a repair DC of 100.
Damage: 15 damage to the person wearing the scouter if they try to read a power level of more than 25,000, from the explosion.
Requirements: None, except it must be purchased from a Saiyan store.
Special: A Saiyan with appropriate background may begin at creation with a scouter without spending a technique on it, although they are not allowed to have the skills sense ki or conceal ki at creation.

Vehicle name: Saiyan space pod
Physical description: A 5 foot spherical white pod, with a red window.
The inside of the pod is comfortable and padded.
Vehicle speed: maximum of 3 light years per hour.
Fuel efficiency: Can travel for three years without stopping, but it must enter a hospitable atmosphere for at least ten minutes at least every six months to replenish its environmental system.
Environmental system (if any): Can last for six months at a time, but must be replenished every six months by entering a hospitable atmosphere for ten minutes.
Life support/medical support (if any):
The pod contains a device that places the rider in suspended animation so that they can preserve their strength for their trips and reduce the amount of food they require.

A functional life support system is available to stabilize the user should they be injured, but there is no healing available: One must travel to a planet that will take care of them. This life support system will fly the ship for the user, replenishing the environmental system as the owner sleeps, so long as it is given a destination.
Control system: The Saiyan space pod is controlled by voice commands in their native tongue (or the standard for its design,)

by a keypad that is translated to be read in the vernacular (sometimes simplified to pictures for illiterate fliers,)

and by a remote control with generally only four buttons:

Come: tells the pod to fly to the user
Depart: Tells the pod to fly somewhere safe.
Orbit: Tells the pod to orbit the planet until further notice, and to preserve its life as best it can
Self-destruct: The pod will explode, causing 100-500 damage to any within a ten foot radius, and 200-700 to any that are inside the pod.

HP: 5 feet times 100 HP = 500 HP
Special: When traveling in a saiyan space pod, the user need only eat once every six months, and suffers no ill effects from neglecting their physical training.

In fact, they can train in mental methods for the duration of the trip, and the computer generally has education material on its hard drive, and can access more by connecting to the intergalactic 'internet,' but add one DC to each roll for the amount of time you go between eating:

For instance, eating once every six months (the max) will add 6 to the DC, while eating once every three months will add only three.
Weapons/Defenses: None whatsoever. This pod is completely weaponless, and designed for lightweight speed and stamina as opposed to being a combat flier.

Vehicle name: Alice
Physical description: A gargantuan pod. A black spherical ship fifty feet in diameter, with hundreds of red windows. It has an on-board garden, an excellent environmental system, a gravity training room that takes up an entire floor of the ship, six furnished bedrooms, a six ship docking bay, a kitchen, and voice control.

This is the finest brand of ship available on Earth, and while it may not be the best in the Universe based on technology, it certainly has all their love for furnishings and comfort.
Vehicle speed: .5 light years per mile
Fuel efficiency: can travel without stopping for a year, at which point it needs to touch down on a planet, shut down, and spend 24 hours in the sunlight. An extremely efficient fueling system keeps the ship operational until that time based completely on solar energy, and what it siphons out of the air.
Environmental system (if any): The on-board environmental system consists of oxygen converters and a large garden that clean the air of wastes and recirculate them through the ship.
Life support/medical support (if any): A medical floor, with six rejuvenation tanks and enough supplies to treat just about anything, accompanied by a surgical robot programmed with the latest technology updated weekly by the ship.. This chamber can put any injury back together, and the rejuvenation tanks heal at the rate of 15 hp and 15 kp per post. (hour)
Control system: voice-controlled with a manual override if desired.
HP: 50 feet times 100 HP = 5000 HP
Special: The ship can turn large sections (The entire third floor [the living quarters] for example) of its hull transparent from the inside so as to view the scenery.
Weapons/Defenses: None. Apparently the humans decided they just didn't need to give the ship any weapons. Those idiots.

The door to the bacta tank unseals and opens, allowing a disoriented and weak Zyke fall out to his knees. He reaches his hand up to his breast over his heart, a nice long scar remains from Rota's Ki blade, the wound being to deep for even his Saiyan heritage to regenerate through. He picks himself up, his strength returning to him quickly. He stands and stretches his body out when Alice spoke to him in the med bay. "Queen Arin wishes for you to prepare yourself to descend to Nexum when the time arrives." Zyke makes his way back to what appeared to be the training rooms, using blurry memories from when he was being carried to the med-bay. He turns to see an empty training room. Deciding that training would be the best form of preparation for leaving, he enters and begins training.

Zyke enters the training room, a room the computer refers to as the dodge room. Speaking to the computer, "Ship, lock the door behind me."As the door closes and seals behind him, Zyke takes a second to stretch his body out again. He closes his eyes and calms his eyes, breathing in slow cooling breaths. "Computer, set the lasers to their lowest setting." Zyke lowers down and sits on the floor with his legs crossed, slowing his mind to the meditative state in which he had learned long ago.

The first of the energy blasts fires forth as the world around Zyke slows to a stop, his mind's eye opening to see inside himself. Inside Zyke's core stood to apparitions. One, Zyke's inner self, his inner being. A silver haired, white glowing being with robes of snowfall-white caressing his limbs. The other, Zyke Saiyan blood, his bestial heritage taking form of his rage to oppose his absolute will over Zyke's inner balance. Zyke begins to raise his Ki on the outside as his inner self begins charging power on his inside. Inner Zyke charges power, an aura of silver cascading off his body like trails of steam as he flies full speed at the ape, a flash of bright silver radiating from the impact of Zyke's foot as he lands a hard spun kick on the ape's face.

The Ape reacts to this sudden assault by reaching and grabbing Zyke, slamming it's gargantuan fist into Zyke before hurling him into the distance of Zyke's inner psyche. Inner Zyke twirls and regains balance to land on a headstone residing within this inner world. Zyke rests a second from the inner conflict to appreciate the gray snow floating down from the endless above to reach the ground, but the moment was short lived, an Oozaru mouth beam decimating the gloomy beauty of the realm the resided in. Inner Zyke leaps above the mouth blast charging a ball of ki above his head with both hands. The Ape relocates Inner Zyke in time to see a large beam of prismatic ki descending upon him, a yell sounding only as a whisper calling, Lion's Roar.

With his Saiyan blood quelled within, his serene side was allowed to take over, tranquility resonating throughout all of Zyke's body. With the ascended sense of body and mind, Zyke began to feel every resonance his body made or felt. At this point, time began to flow normally again, Zyke's Mind's eye closing to give Zyke's conscious control and dominance over his body. The energy blasts all started to hit, a ripple of energy traveling through his body as they each hit. The more the blasts struck, the more ripples that interrupted the stillness of Zyke's being.

Zyke's ki continued to bloom from within from his continued power charging in meditation. The energy blasts continued to strike Zyke in the chest, causing the ripples to spread throughout all of Zyke's body from the core. His meditative state threatened to fall apart, his already hard earned tranquility in danger of being taken from him. He pulled together every shred of willpower he had to maintain this state.

Zyke's Ki ceases to increase, his full power being called forth already. The aura of his ki around him helping to dissipate the energy blasts somewhat, not enough to make a difference though, as the blasts continue to strike Zyke in the chest. The resonance inside of Zyke now building to a near maelstrom of ripples and mental resonance. Zyke's mental tranquility hanging by a thread, the metaphoric string representing his meditative state about to snap from the pressure.

The barrage of blasts to Zyke's chest won out. The meditative state shattered like a glass window, his tranquility washed away by the blasts like a tidal wave washing away the remnant of a dead civilization. As the final blast hits, Zyke is thrown violently back into the wall, a few more blasts striking the already worn raw spot on his chest from the continuous onslaught of energy blasts that had been buffeting the same spot on his chest this entire session. His vision started to fade as the blasts continued to drive their way into his chest.

Alice finally ended the session after a good few seconds of blasting to be sure that Zyke was truly unconscious. Seeing his damaged state, Alice called in the robo-butler to carry Zyke's limp corpse of a body back to the med-bay for recovery before the time for Zyke and Rota's descent to Nexum to aid Queen Alice.

Zyke was floating in the bacta tank yet again, A nice burn spreading the majority of his chest. The regenerative chemicals in the medical solution doing well to care for the wound. He knew that he would be called on by the people for some reason soon, so he should be ready when they did. Might as well go along with what they asked, he had nothing else he could do or work for.
