Vinod, the security guard, had been told by Sara to let Pen pass, and did as told.
Jarred was passed out on his stomach, somehow having managed to pull a bottle down with him and keep most of it's contents in the bottle, not that it's currently empty state would show it.
Down stairs and outside, a group of what once had it's organization's heritage in both the SWAT team and the policing force from Krohv, a KAOT squad quickly moved into the building, vehicles outside making sure no one came or went. Their arrival had been delayed by Sara's efforts, but the KAOT themselves and their gear were off the grid, contained to the single squad.

Arch the Angel Vinod, the security guard, had been told by Sara to let Pen pass, and did as told. Pen stilled as she came across Jarred. She knelt onto one knee checking his pulse and let out the breath that she'd been holding, her hand moving to brush up and through his dark hair. "You are my everything," She whispered, "you stupid man." She brushed her hand in his hair a few more times, a far more intimate act to her, than it would be to others. She then picked up his empty bottle and set it aside, groaning slightly as she noted the other many empty bottles and the broken ones. "Jarred Shanra," she said in a slightly scolding tone, aware that she was likely the only one hearing the words "did I not ask you to avoid the alcohol in my recorded goodbye?" She shook her head, before using her gravity implant-which was working again thanks to Haldis- and carefully flipped him onto his back.

Jarred moved into a fit of coughs as he landed on his back, forcing him into a upright position. He groaned, slouching foreword, his off-hand flailing about for the bottle he couldn't find. His hand moved ridiculously fast, too fast for any amount of accuracy or realistic reaction. He grunted, getting to his feet, grabbing onto a stool and pulling himself p, only to have it shift under his unsure footing, falling, and bringing him with it. "******** it... Sara, gimme nuther." He laid on his back, his eyes going wide for a moment. "Gau..." He rolled over quickly, knocking over another stool onto him. He looked up at Pen, closed his eyes tight, then reopened them, still seeing her. "Waaa?"
Downstairs, the KAOT had secured the lobby and locked down the elevators. On the same floor as the previous conversation with Lee, a group of five of them phased through the large wall-windows, moving for the elevator, weapons drawn.

On the same floor as the previous conversation with Lee, a group of five of them phased through the large wall-windows, moving for the elevator, weapons drawn. Pen had stood up and backed up a pace as Jarred began pulling himself off the floor and then found himself back on it. She didn't bother trying to explain right away, knowing he'd take it better when he wasn't drunk. She chuckled, pulling one of the stools off of him and setting it aside, before returning back and crouching down. She stared at him for a moment, then leaned forward, giving the side of his face a soft kiss, "I'm here."

Jarred reacted to the kiss as if struck by lightning, bolting up, his enhanced movements running haywire with the high concentrations of alcohol in his system. He leaned against the bar for support, staring at her. "Yuh... wha.. buh..." He ran his eyes over her, which were still wide. "Suh... Sara, maih 'lucnatin, 'r..." He rubbed his eyes, looking back at her. "Aih, uh..." He glanced down, noting her arm. "Wait.. wait ah minuhte. The ********? Yer a clone!"

Pen's arms crossed over her chest, the color in her eyes cooling to silver. "Clone? The hell I am. The stupid stone raised me, and regenerated the arm in the process. She didn't regenerate the braid though, " She said flicking the sawed off piece of braid still above her eye. "It's the same as when I died, a clone wouldn't have given that much attention to detail." Pen naturally assumed he'd seen the body. "You want more proof? I can tell you what was on the stupid com, when I said goodbye." Pen kept her stance, this time assuming Jarred had gotten the recording device.
Pen took a step towards him. "Honestly, Jarred, don't be ridiculous."

"The recording device, I gave it to Hattie before I died. It was supposed to be given to you. " She decided not to bother explaining the hair. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she pinned Jarred against the wall with a gravity pulse, to keep him down for a bit while she began confiscating bottles and returning them to the bar. "Sara, would you please keep the bar closed and locked. It's about time Jarred sobered up." Gautrine let him go as she placed the last of the bottles away. "Still think I'm a clone?" She asked, turning away from the bar to look at him. (KAOT there yet?)

Tsukiyomi Morningstar Das Steube "You look half starved." Eric rbbed his temples, shaking his head, "Just leave him. If he wants to drink his grief away, he's going to do it. Do you honestly want someone with what he has doing ANYTHING around us drunk?" Hattie looked down at her stomach. "Do I really look that bad?" She shook her head with a sigh. "Pen wouldn't want him to do this to himself. He's bein' selfish." "Yeah. I think you might want to get something to eat." Eric chuckled, and sat down, "Honestly... I'd just rather him do what he does best."

"I haven't really been hungry." She said with a shrug. "I've been living off of Halise's Tea. Well, I supposed Jarred has to grieve is own way." She brushed some of her red bangs from her eyes. She realized that Eric had only seen her with her hair natural once. She blushed at this. "Uh... Don't worry. My dreads will come back soon..." She said for no reason.

((Close. Access to the top floors is extra tight, and will require a bit more time. They've got a minute, tops, before the KAOT get to Vinod. I'm not sure how that'll go. By the by, would Haldis have messed with her cyber-ware at all? Restoring the factory settings or anything? I'm not talking about the wireless "Jarred controls it" stuff, that was physically changed previously, I believe. I'm just curious as to if the tech was reset like her body.))

Hattie gave him a smile. "Fine. I'll eat." She offered her hand to him.

What cyber-ware? Her arm is completely human now. Wait, unless you were talking about the power-implants. Yeah, those are more or less just reset to factory settings and such.)) Gautrine's eyes were more silver than usual, though it wasn't from frustration. "You need to get cleaned up, Jarred, you're a mess." She reached a hand forward to smooth part of his hair, but paused halfway and pulled it back. It was the hand that should have been mechanical. "You haven't been eating either, have you?" Gautrine bit down on the inside of her cheek. "Go take a shower, I'll go put together something for you to eat," She said turning around and heading towards the kitchen. "I mean it, Jarred. If you don't, I will throw you, fully clothed, into the bathtub. You know I'm good for it." Gautrine moved into the kitchen and after shuffling around with pots for a moment sunk down to the kitchen floor, hidden slightly behind the kitchen island, her arms wrapping tight around her knees. Growing up in the Kore you learned one of two things: to never cry, or to do so quietly, and alone.

((Sorry, I'm gonna kinda jump back to responding to the post before her going and cooking food, because, well, aside from my lack of chance to, the cooking food response is kinda a strange one.))
Jarred sobered up quickly after sitting on the wall a moment, though for reasons you wouldn't figure. "Sara, disregard what she says, that's an order. Security code 76X. Call in Mr. Blakrishnan." Jarred narrowed his eyes. "I would advise you against any sudden movements. The walls in this place are weapons, and they're all on you." He circled around, to near the bar, facing her. "Gautrine, my Gautrine, had power-implants, same as you do. I'll give you points for being thorough, but it was uploaded with the Emerald Haze program, a underlying backup I installed a long time ago, something you couldn't replicate, and I can see you didn't. "Sara? Contact the authorities and have them dispatch a squad."
