Mara stepped out of the van to see what was going on. As she walked the people seemed to feel an eerie feeling as if something small but significant was snatched from them, but they couldn't tell what. Mara pulled down her glove and her hand returned to a normal color. She quietly sighed with relief and looked at the boy.
Lacey grabbed some things from the truck and ran to the victim and could tell that he was going into shock. She elevated his head gently and placed a travelers pillow underneath. She put on some gloves and with the bandages, she placed pressure on the bleeding.

"A hospital isn't an option. We have bigger problems." Rhell said loading a rifle and drawing his sword. Another car was driving at them, off road. It stopped in front of them and three people, about 16 each, armed with guns stepped out of the car. They aimed at the group, one angry looking one pointed specifically at Rhell. scans_D-GrayMan_NekoiEchizen(0.75)_1680x2250_195111(2).jpg]Another person stepped out of the car, unarmed but looked somewhat official. He was definitely in his early twenties and was dressed in a uniform. He seemed to be looking them over then whispered and order to the one aiming at Rhell. "This group is with the enemy. Probably came to aid his friend in resisting Kato's ambush." The uniformed man said looking at the victim in the car. "Open fire!" The instant they began to fire on his friends, Mel threw up a shield in front of the group. Bullets flew at them, and stopped dead at the shield and fell to the ground, flattened from the force of the defense. The shield shattered and fell to the ground then evaporated. There was a thud as Mel fell from the door of the jeep and onto the ground.

"Mel!" Lacey shouted. She felt so helpless to the rest of the group because she had to tend to the boy. Lacey decided to stay where she was, but she kept one hand on the boy and the other hand on her pistol. If the uniformed people were going to do anything to her friends, it was the least she could do."

Mel turned his head over and looked in Lacey's direction with hazy vision. He was going to say something, but couldn't move his lips and just let out a muffled hum. His eyes began closing and he started to rest, feeling like he was lighter than air. He felt a warm trickling from his head that encouraged him to sleep even more.
The young man in uniform gazed in disbelief at the group, then noticed his men were reloading for another attack he began to shout at them. "Cease fire, drop your weapons!" The all dropped the guns and the sounds of bullets scattering broke the silence after the order. "They are not the enemy, they are infected with the virus." The uniformed man walked over to Rhell with his hands up. "Im very sorry for this, please, one cannot be too cautious in these times. My name is Anson Eden. If you come with me I can explain everything to you." Anson offered looking straight at Rhell.

Suzume was'nt one to trust strange people that pointed guns at her too easily. She would follow along and follow the tide, as she put it, but she would be on her toes the whole time, but she thought best to stay quiet for now

Lacey looked up at the other people of the young man's group. She asked, "Please, do you have a medic? This boy and my friend Mel needs help." She looked over toward Mel's direction.
"Mel, hang in there. We need you."

"Yes... Serin, with me." Anson walked towards Mel, as he passed Suzume, he looked her in the eye with a fascinated gaze. He stood next to Mel. Anson knelt down and held an open hand over Mel's wounded area and he began to seemingly suck the blood into his palm, then he pressed it to Mel's injury and forced the blood back inside him. The one called Serin wrapped it with a gause pad. Anson lay his body down on the ground and suspended his head.
Mel opened his eyes sightly, he felt like he was back on earth. There was no more warm trickling on his head. Mel looked Looked up at the person who held up his head. He expected to see Lacey, but at the sight of the man who shot at his friends he screamed and pushed the man away. Anson fell back, and Mel surrounded himself in a shield. He hugged his legs close to him and he remained silent.
Anson stood back up and looked down at Mel with pity. "Pathetic child." He muttered to himself so none could hear. Anson walked over to the young Kato. "He cannot be treated here. We will need to bring him back with us." Anson signaled for two boys to run over and remove him from the car.
Rhell was impressed but he was still not going to gratify his attacker with amazement. "Well, looks like we we're even since you healed Mel. I suppose we should go with you..." Rhell said, he looked to his companions for council.

Lacey said quietly to Rhell,
"We should go. At least until Mel gets better." She walked to the car and grabbed her shoulderbag and waited for the others."
In the town of Haven, a bustling town full of airships, merchants, and commonfolk, a small white-cloaked boy wandered through the cobblestone streets. He walked over to a small cottage where a single man lied in his bed, sweating from fever.
The man looked at the boy,
"You are a healer yes?" The man asked out of delirium.
The boy half smiled. He approached the man.
"I can take away your pain." He touched the mans forehead.
The man lost concsiousness after he was touched. Soon after the man's body began aging quite rapidly. His organs soon started failing. His body withered away.
The boy smiled and disappeared. He hoped that this man's essence would be the key to the goal he was searching for.

((I think I'll retire from here... I might still get on the guild every once and a while, but I wanted to give it to someone. But I think life is getting pretty busy and a don't get on Gaia much anymore, so I don't want to cause you guys to slow down if you still wanna RP. Someone can play my character if they wish, or she could just disappear or leave another way or just tag along, lol.))
