Annexus slowly started walking around the boy, sword hanging lazily at his side. "Not so eager to fight? Now I'm not turned away from you?" He kept the slow pace, not wanting to alarm the boy. "Perhaps now you'd be willing to negotiate? Hmm . . . but I wonder, what would you have to offer me in return for your life? Joining my army?" Annexus laughed. "Well, that ship has sailed." Annexus used the sword to casually flip some rubble out of his way.
"So . . . What's it going to be?"
More soldiers were beginning to surround the area now, pretty soon, there would be no means of escaping.

Hiro carefully watched Annexus as he circled him, looking for an opening. "I'd rather die than work for you!" he yelled.
Mina looked away from the sword and looked in the direction of the voice. The Eternal Eyes boy she had seen earlier was being circled by Annexus. He looked to be about a year older than her. "We can't let Annexus kill that boy. He could be a valuable ally," she said to Felicity.
Rina watched as Annexus circled a boy. Then she saw the boy's eyes. An Eternal Eyes! Is Annexus going to kill him? I would help him, but... If I defy Annexus, Rita will... She cut that train of thought.

(wow sorry guys, i didnt think you would post so much, lol im kinda taking care of all the eternal eyes in the vicinity if thats ok, but Leah is still free cuuz he didnt notice her.)
Azelf had stopped as he headed to the next house, he knew excactly what the situition was, he felt it throught the ground beneath his feet. He had closed his eyes to formulate a plan and had just finished. He opened his red eyes and fased into the ground he came up in the middle of the entire battle. "I hate to ruin your fun my Lord, but this is becoming too troublesome." And with that he formed his hand signs and shoved his hands into the ground, everywhere arms appeared and stretched out of the ground, taking hold of every adversary by thier arms and legs, pinning them. Azelf sighed and closed his eyes. "My Lord, i am sorry that i am late, are you all right." He asked without moving.

Mimi used her telekinesis to levitate some of the rubble off the ground. She was hearing the thoughts of the ones around her, and didn't like what she heard. She then flung the big, heavy chunk of rubble that she had been levitating at Annexus' head to stop him from hurting the boy.

Flamberg sent a couple of tiny barbs into Mina's skin in response to her movement. Not very deep, just enough to cause bleeding should she move too much.
Annexus smiled at Hiro. "That can be arranged easily enough," He replied, still circling him slowly. His path would cross toward Felicity soon. "Though, it is certainly a waste of your life. Look around you, there is no way out, you would not even consider negotiating for their lives?"
He shook his head. "Some Hero you are . . . instead of saving their lives, you would condemn them. So, there are only two ways out, either you negotiate . . . or . . . you defeat me, and all of my soldiers." He shot a quick look at Rina, and then back at Hiro. "Though the later option will result in a lot of loss of life. More than your own. While the first option, on the other hand . . . could simply allow everyone here to continue living. What do you say, boy?"
Annexus twirled the sword over his hand and held it out in front of him, pointing into nowhere. He looked over the edge as if examining the straightness of the blade. "I would so much prefer not having to soil my hands any more than they have been already."
He then turned and sliced the rock that was veering toward his head. "Azelf . . . That one there." He said, turning back to his foe.

Korsu watched as Annexus circled Hiro. With a frown he realized he wouldn't be able to push through the soldiers around him so he crouched and jumped up into the air and onto a nearby roof. He was sad that he wouldn't be able to assist Mina but he then jumped off the roof and then landed on the ground next to Hiro. "I'll back you with what ever course of action you take." He said to Hiro, his right hand on the hilt of one of his kodachi's.

Mina cried out in pain as something pierced her skin.
Hiro heard the girl cry out. "What the- What did you do to her?!" he yelled. What am I going to do? There's no way I could take him and his army. Plus, I doubt he'd let me. But he'll make me join his army if I choose the other option. I would never betray the Eternal Eyes, but he'll probably kill that girl if I don't. Then the man that had protected the girl jumped over the soldiers. He muttered to him, "We can't fight because he'll probably kill that girl, yet we can't join his army. What would you suggest we do?" Hiro asked quietly.
Rina saw Annexus quickly look at her. Don't worry. I'll hold up my end of the bargain if you hold up yours. I won't betray you as long as Rita's life is in your hands.

Mimi gripped her scythe tighter. She turned her eyes to Mina as soon as she cried out in pain. "Mina!" She said, then growled slightly. He's got Mina? She was not about to let her new friend be hurt or killed.

Korsu didn't want to show that he was an eternal eye's yet so he replied quietly, "Well I agree with the fact that he may kill the girl, but what do you think about the sword in the ground near her? Do you think one of us could pull it out with enough strength?" He glanced about him at the soldiers and Annexus, he was glad that the sunglasses his his eye's, but he wasn't happy that they reduced his peripheral vison slightly.

"I doubt that I'd be able to get there to pull it out alive," Hiro said. He heard another girl say something. Mina? Is that that girl's name? he thought.
This is definitely not a normal sword, Mina thought, fighting the pain. It's as if it's alive.

Annexus stood the two men down, and stopped walking toward Felicity, He nodded toward Rina and Wade to capture her.
He faced the two men, sword at ready. "So, your choice is made."

As if its alive? Mimi shot the thought back at Mina, Is that possible? She then looked at the boy. Yes that's her name. She thought, and made sure he could hear it, then allowed the other boy to hear her too, Sorry for getting in your head, its something I do. I'm Mimi by the way...Do you think its possible for the sword to be alive? That thought just went through Mina's head..

((Aw... Now we'll have to wait for 9 hours for the fight? Man, this sucks. I'm glad I'm still in high school.))
Suddenly Annexus stopped walking toward the girl and faced them. "Damn," he said, quickly putting some poison on a dart. He had built up an immunity to the poison, so he could touch it without worry. Suddenly, there was a voice in his head. Wh- he started to think. Then the voice, it was a girl's voice, told him her name. M-My name is Hiro, he thought. Alive? How could that be possible? But, considering that it's Annexus's, it could be.
Rina saw Annexus nod at her and Wade, indicating that he wanted them to capture a girl. Looking at her, Rina saw that it was an Eternal Eyes. The girl bore a striking resemblance to Wade.
I believe it is alive. It shot something into my skin. Mina had been watching Annexus. When she saw him nod she looked in the direction he had nodded in, turning her head only slightly. There were two people standing there, one boy, one girl. Looking at the girl carefully, Mina saw red eyes. And in those eyes, she saw fear. The same type of fear that had filled her parent's eyes when the army came to town: the fear of losing a loved one. He must be forcing her to work for him against her will by threatening someone's life, she thought.

He is. Mimi replied to Mina, I heard her thoughts earlier. He's forcing her to work or he'll kill her loved one. She sighed sadly. Mina said the sword shot something into her skin... Mimi said, replying to Hiro this time. Getting her away could be more complicated then I thought...

Azelf nodded and more hands shot out and grabbed hold of the gilr who levateded the rock at his head, the hands grabbed her arms and legs and pinned pinned her to a wall. he brought his hands out and formed another hand sign and all the hands who had grabbed a hold of something solidified. He dissapeared and reapeared at the kings side. He drew his blade from his back and stood calmly, his blade lowered at his feet. "If you dont mind my Lord i wish to have the newcomer."
